The staff needs to stop telling customers that uBreakiFix will file their claim for insurance purposes or that they charge $30 to fix your phone. This is so false and misleading. It's almost like they tell customers this, so they don't have to deal with you. WHEN Verizon employees are supposed to help steere you in the right direction to file a claim. If you have no clue, you should call uBreakiFix to confirm this. Not make up whatever comes to your mind to get them out of your hair. When this comes from the Manager and even she has no clue, it shows you the lack of knowledge by the Manager and the crew. Even though uBreakiFix could not file the claim for us, they were nice enough to help us figure out how to file that claim, which the people at Verizon can do. But choose not to help. read more

You will not get excellent customer service from here I can tell you that. And that speaks volumes! For one the lady I spoke to was rude. They wanted me to pay a restock fee after I didn't like the phone I received just only 4 days ago! Also they would not talk to me about my account without an ID. They didn't tell me this when I checked in and then made me wait 45min. This is 2021 there should be other ways to authenticate a person. Again online didn't ask for my ID and they quickly took care of what I asked.... which was no hassle exchange. And since I sent in my iPhone XR for the exchange...they allowed me to use the iPhone 13 Pro until I received the iPhone 13 Max. That's taking care of your loyal customers! Horrible experience, absolutely the worst business I have ever been in and the only business I have ever been kicked out of. Do you want to be lied to and told there are currently no managers on duty... and that there is no one currently in charge of the store when you have a complaint. Want to be told "Don't reach for me" Like your an animal that's going to attack the employee, even though your standing 6 feet away behind a sign and your just talking with your hands like a majority of people do when upset??? Non existent customer service unable to address the core issue of a customers complaint or understanding the reason of being upset. When you just upgraded your phone you expect it to work.. not to be given the run around and shifted to the back after having just walked out with your new device that can't transfer contacts and info because they already factory wiped your current phone... My husband and I met at the Verizon store in Indio, ca and the guy there was terrible... so we left and went to the store in La Quinta and they were absolutely fantastic! We were able to upgrade our iPhone 7 for an iPhone 13 max, with no problems. Our sales associate (male that wears glasses- I'm sorry I can't remember his name) was extremely helpful and patient. Extremely rude in LaQuinta store. After over an hour on the phone with Verizon I was instructed by the Verizon customer support associate to go to corporate Verizon in LaQuinta. Showed up, waited in line, maintaining 6 ft or more social distancing guidelines with mask, and an employee comes out, and after hearing my issue, which can only be resolved in person, says, "Call 611." Attempted to explain that 611 told be to come to her corporate store and she just repeated, "You have to call 611." I repeated myself and she shrugged her shoulders, turned around. and walked back inside. What is going on? Is this Covid thing just an excuse for ignorant, uneducated, ill-trained, or simply rude people to be deliberately rude? This store has the worst customer service ever. Lisa seems to always be the one to call me and let me know that their store is "not a fully operational store" in the rudest most unhelpful way possible. After waiting for my appointment for 4 days I was informed that I can't actually go into the store to get help, despite what someone at the store told me, and customer service setting up the appointment for me because that's what they suggested. Been with them for almost 20 years. Love there product. They also have great tech's . The one thing I have trouble with is getting through to my local store. I have a special customer rep I want to buy from because of her knowledge of the products but I never can get through to the La Quinta store to talk to her and because of what's going on with COVID-19 I don't just wanna drive up to the store and hope that I get to talk to her. Cannot say enough about this store. The staff helped me tremendously for hours with my disaster. I switched carriers and came back after 3 days. Couldn't get my number back, my phone wasn't working. This 0-star review is specifically for the employee Rolo. I lost my iPhone X at Coachella on Friday 4/13, and went to this store on Saturday morning 4/14, at around 10:30am to see what my options were. I have insurance through Verizon, so I knew I could eventually get a replacement phone. Rolo told me I had two options: 1) I could file an insurance claim, but I wouldn't get a phone until Monday, or 2) buy a new iphone x. I asked him why I would buy a new phone (for $1250) if I could use my insurance claim, and he mockingly told me "because otherwise you won't have a phone for the rest of Coachella." I then asked if I could buy a new phone and return it once my insurance claim went through. He told me "No." I was very confused as to why not, and asked him to please ask the manager if I had any other options. He told me that the manager would tell me the same things he had already said. I asked him again whether or not I could return the new phone, and he said that "Yes, but there is a restocking fee of $30. And it might not work with your insurance, so you might not be able to use your insurance if you get a new phone." Obviously I was concerned about this, because I didn't want to spend $1250 if I couldn't also file an insurance claim. I told Rolo that I was an attorney and had to do a little more research (read the fine print of my insurance contract). He impatiently asked me if he should move on to another customer, and I said yes. In the meantime, the Verizon employee who was checking everyone in came over and asked me what the issue was. I gave him a brief synopsis, and he immediately told me that filing an insurance claim and buying/returning a new phone were mutually exclusive and there would be no issues. He said he would go talk to Rolo so that I could buy the new phone. When Rolo returned, he said to me, "So do you want to buy the phone then?" No explanations, no apologies for his incompetence. I did proceed to buy the new phone, return it, and successfully file my insurance claim. However, my experience with Rolo was beyond unprofessional and unhelpful. I don't know if he was trying to make a commission on a phone sale, or thought I was stupid (guess what... attorneys attend Coachella too), or was just incompetent...but it was no thanks to him that I resolved my problem. When a customer comes to you with a problem, you give them ALL of the options - including the most beneficial one to the customer - not try to trick them into buying a new phone. I would have been an absolute idiot if I bought a new phone for ($1250) instead of using my insurance and buying/returning a phone ($230). Thank you to the guy checking everyone in for answering my questions in literally seconds and helping me reach a resolution. read more

Just switched back to Verizon from Sprint yesterday. I have not been a fan of their customer service in the past. Always felt a "look, we're the best - if you don't like it, go somewhere else" kind of vibe from every interaction with them. This time, it was completely different. Liz O. at this location in La Quinta did an absolutely fantastic job of answering all my questions quickly and knowledgeably. She also got all 4 of our lines of service switched over in under an hour from start to finish. Kudos to her! We bought a $500 smart watch and had issues with our current phone numbers being unregistered, call customer service. Kind of makes the new watch feel cheap because of the way we were dealt with. These employees have a major attitude problem, they're unfriendly and not very understanding that people need in person help. Not having access to your phone is a scary thing. This is probably the last corporate Verizon store left in the eastern Coachella Valley. It's located in the same shopping complex as Target, next to Supercuts. Parking is plentiful with a good deal of room between vehicles. When coming to this store you better know what you want and how much you "should" be paying. Research on the Verizon website of the plans and devices with their specific pricing. I would only come here if I need help fixing my device or want to get a new one without having to wait for it in the mail. These reps can be really helpful or be a shark trying to take bite as much of your wallet as they can haha I always come here after doing my research and never settle with what "they" are offering. I even pull up the Verizon website, so they can see what I'm talking about. Don't waste energy in trying to convince someone at this store, it's best to go through the website after a while of conversing with them. They have accessories, but just overpriced like every cellular store. Place is always busy and can get help the moment I walk in. Overall 3 stars because they can over price items if you have not been on their website and they always try to add more items on your contracts even after stating you're not interested. Recommend for store pick up of items or for help with your device or getting discounts on your plan for specific employment in certain companies or military. read more
