Awful. Ordered a phone DEC 20th IN STORE for it be here JAN 2nd . Said they would call me when it arrives. I ended up calling on the 2nd after not receiving a call to COMFIRM phone had arrived and they said "IT DID and they've got it right here! But we are short staffed today could you come in tomorrow?" Happily said we would be there in the morning to pick it up. Got there at 10:15am -waited patiently. Said they would go unlock the safe and it would take 10mins. she came back looking nervous and quietly called all other employees into the back where after a long while they came out and said my phone got here a week ago but was damaged and they need to send it back. zero phone calls no communication only told about this when we are in store ready to pick up the phone. Leaves again and comes back just to say nevermind it was a different phone that was broken and they would need another 10mins to unlock the safe. Employee comes out again to say my phone is not here and was never able to be ordered and they have no resolution for me. No way to get a new phone. And that we waited not only 2 weeks for it to ship but nearly 2 hours in store for them to figure their stuff out. How can you order a phone for us, give us a delivery date, verify over the phone the say oops never mind it was never ordered.. tried to blame the single employee who initially ordered which was also just ridiculous. I talked to 3 separate people over the phone and another 3 in person. There is no one individual to blame for this situation it's the entire stores incompetence. Terrible. read more

I've upgraded my phones several times here and always been pleased with the service and staff. Their friendly but efficient and the selection is typically great. Sometimes they'll be out of the super popular colors but they always offer to special order/save one for you when it comes in. They make trade ins easy and explain the changes and charges clearly. The selection of cases and chargers are nice, but I typically order those online simply because their less expensive. All in all - this is a great little store with good service for all your Verizon needs. read more

Poor customer service. Hidden rule. even though we did not purchase their service, since they installed the so called activation, they refused to refund my $50. We are happy that we did not contrac their service. not recommended. if i can give zero, i will give a zero score. read more

Customer service was really poor. This was an opportunity for me to upgrade my case and screen protector. I would then purchase a whole new set of protection for this phone. Went in with some issues with my phone not charging. Spoke with Jon and he gave me some options to fix the issues (new phone cords, case, et ). If that doesn't work (which it did) he gave me information on warranty replacement. Left very pleased with this location. The staff there is very polite and welcoming. Awful! No stars. Quintessential bait-n-switch. Not that they aren't somehow related--as in a cousin's cousin kind of way--but that's just it: Why would you need to tempt fate & go with the bunch of jokers who aren't specifically Verizon, especially when Verizon stores are all over the place (as in across the street by Panera)? Verizon itself doesn't care about service, so why complicate matters by incorporating a middleman into the fold. Specifically, this store really takes the cake if you ever want your phone buying experience to be like a car buying experience. What I thought would be a 30 minute process, give or take, turned into a six-hour nickel-and-dime phone-fest. (But at least they're completely incompetent & try to up-sell you in the process!) Happy to share details, but why don't you just trust me & save yourself the trouble. Maybe this'll help you make your decision not to go in: Though they are NOT Verizon (they're Victra) they have all the ubiquitous Verizon signage & colors & even say "Welcome to Verizon." when you walk in. Where's the FCC to regulate THAT when ya need 'em?! Again: NOT VERIZON! Too bad I didn't know they weren't Verizon till after Josh (who was ignorant about phones) was [attempting] transferring my two phones & I asked, "So what kind of warranty is there?" The response was, "I don't know. You'll need to talk to Verizon." So then I asked, "So... you're not Verizon even though you say 'Welcome to Verizon?'" "Correct." Josh answered. Called in advance to see if they would price match an IWatch 6 (Amazon price) after visiting the store the day before. Rep on the phone confirmed they would price match, so I drove over. Spent the next 20 minutes listening to bait and switch offers about why I needed to buy a new phone. Told them I did not want a new phone, just wanted the IWatch 6 per our phone call. When the rep figured out I was not buying a new phone, he went in the back and came back out, stating his manager would not approve the price match. Left the store. Avoid the these guys like the plague. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I walked in to look at some new phones in person, and was greeted at the door. When I went to the phones, a staff person stood by me staring and offered to help. I told him what phones I was considering buying and why. He asked me why I would ever switch from Android to Iphone. I gave him my reasons and he just stared at me and said nothing. I asked him what he thought about the phones, assuming he would give me ideas or information, and he curtly said it was a personal choice. He had no information to share and would not stop staring at me. He stood uncomfortably close as we were the only two people in the store. I promptly left. Great service and knowledgeable staff! I went in with my iPhone 7 with the latest Apple Brick mode enabled. Frustrated and tired of not having a working phone, Ronnie and Marc were sympathetic to my frustrations and made me see that upgrading was the best thing to do. I left with a new iPhone XS Max a new iPad, case, screen protector and other accessories for a great price. These guys rock and deserve 10 stars! read more

I will never visit another Verizon store after visiting Victra. I've been with Verizon for several years now and Ronnie has exceeded my expectations by far. Extremely thoughtful and thorough. He helped me get out of 2 contracts, get new phones and devices, and lowered my bill while doing it. He sat on hold with customer care for me and fixed several small issues I was having, and while he did this he still managed to help his fellow associates with their customer service and sales. My previous experience with Verizon would be about a 6/10. With Ron's help I would say Im at an 11/10 for sure. Such an incredible representation of a company. read more

I'd give them a negative if possible. Wife went there to get a new phone. Kid behind the counter erased her whole phone during the transfer. Oops, sorry was all she got. She runs three businesses off that phone. Everything gone. Later that night we were able to recover about half of it off iCloud, rest was just lost. Manager came out and did give her a, "sorry, he shouldn't have done it that way". We got no less then two emails asking about our service and experience at their store. I wrote out long explanations to both. We didn't even get a reply. Two lessons here. Back up your phone before getting a new one, and never go to this store. read more

He even drove to another store to pick up the phone I wanted when I called ahead and was told it wasn't in stock at their location. read more

I went to the Gig Harbor Verizon store after my iPhone died. I knew I just wanted a new iPhone. The representative put the sale through as a new contract instead of just a phone upgrade, as we agreed that it was. He realized his mistake and then spent the next two hours trying to fix this problem. After over an hour, I asked if I could leave and run to the library as my children, ages three and five, were becoming restless. We left and returned. At this time he told me everything had been reversed, but that the system needed 24 hours to clear out the information before I could purchase a phone. He felt bad, but at no time was there an offer of compensation or some extension of sympathy for the fact that my children and I had waited over two hours and left with no remedy. I checked my account that evening had multiple "agreements" listed, all but two without my signature. Between that day and the next they posted 16 to my account. I also had insurance still on my bill even though I didn't have the phone to be insured and the fee for the upgrade ($30) is still on my bill. I called and spoke to the assistant manager who said he could help me with those charges if I came in (not that easy to just drop everything and come back) or I could call Verizon. Verizon was able to stop the insurance, but I have to wait until I get my invoice to dispute the upgrade fee. At the minimum, a representative could have apologized and given some sympathy for my troubles and maybe offered a Starbucks while I was waiting or a 10% discount on a case or some form of making up for the time spent for their error. In addition, in speaking with the Verizon rep on the phone it turns out that the representative at the Gig Harbor store flat out lied to me when he stated that insurance can only be bought the day the phone is bought, but can be cancelled at any time. He and a colleague both stated this because I said, "I will add it later if I want it." When I called back and said that they had lied to me the same representative said that you can add it in the store up to 14 days after purchase and directly with Verizon longer after that. I don't mind sales, but I do mind LYING. To address my frustrations I have left messages for the assistant manager and manager and given ample time for them to call me back and they have not. There are four of us on our plan who routinely upgrade our iPhones and we will now be doing so directly through the Apple Store in Tacoma. read more

Verizon will charge you for every little thing, and hide it. Honestly the worst company I've had to have an experience with. Please do your research and check any fine print of their "deals" before accepting. No one will be up front with you. If you do decide to join go to an actual verizon store where they seem to have better trained employees who know what they're talking about. My first experience in this store the guy who got me signed up (a manager) told me that, my employer provided discount would definitely work (it did not); that the $20 something screen protector I bought would have a "free replacement" from the manufacturer if it cracked (wasn't free), the switcher rebate gift card could be used to pay off the balance I owed for the phone (it could not). When I came into the store the second time was when my screen protector cracked, the guy who waited on me (another manager) acted like I was a nuisance for existing and a liar for telling him what the other manager had said. The last experience I had in this store was when I went to see what the costs for switching were gonna be. I get that I wasn't supplying his commission or whatever but I wasn't asking him to do much of anything, simply look at my account and tell me a price. I have never been so poorly treated by someone for no reason. I know it wasn't just me though because the customer he was helping when I came in was being treated the same way. TLDR; verizon sucks, and you should only go in this store in particular if you have a kink for being treated like shit by cocky demeaning men. read more

This is absolutely the WORST company to work for or do business with. I was employed here for 5 years and then laid off due to my position changing. This was a complete lie, that laid me off due to the fact I was a female but hired a man to take my place. Shortly after that they hired another man. Fast forward, my position came back open and I was reapplies. I was told in my severance package I would always be hireable. It ended up that they hired someone whom I had constantly had to reprimand due to not doing this correctly. So tell me, how does someone fit a position when they wouldn't follow suit before. I went here to upgrade to a new iPhone. I had a few questions about the Verizon upgrade process that one of the salesmen tried to answer for me. In the process, he led me to believe I would be getting a discount (it wasn't really a discount, but he left that part out) and neglected to tell me/didn't adequately explain A LOT of other stuff, like how they have a fee for transferring data to new phones among other things. The phone color I wanted wasn't in store, so we had ordered it. I get there when it's in (didn't get a call, I had to call myself repeatedly) and saw a bill about $250 more than I had anticipated because of the flubs from the first guy. I was obviously taken aback. Luckily, I was working with Emily that day and she was able to help me out and solve some of the issues the first guy had caused. She explained answers to my questions in a clear way and was very, very helpful going over options that I now had to figure out what with the huge bill. Emily was the only reason I left with a phone (and that this review has 3 stars instead of one)! Her help was so appreciated and I hope to work with her again if I come back to this location. read more

She said we will be right with you. I stood there waiting, I have a simple question but she didn't want to be bothered. The customer left that the guy was helping and they didn't offer to help me. Utterly incompetent. Avoid this reseller at all costs and go to the Verizon corporate store near the Tacoma Mall. Today we visited this shop to move the cellphone account of our small business (tiny marina in Gig Harbor) from AT&T to Verizon, but it took a grueling 80 minutes. The clerk we dealt with claimed to be a trainee manager, but he repeatedly had to get other clerks to help him through the computer system's screens while he kept making mistakes. By the end, the incompetent clerk had reentered our data (business name, address, Fed tax ID, cell number, my name, etc, etc) FOUR times, managing to screw up the transaction every time. I had signed the contract FIVE times when they (by then five clerks were involved) finally told us they had screwed up the system and couldn't accept the marina's check or my credit card as they previously stated. I had to drive to my bank and withdraw cash to pay the $400 deposit. We THINK we have a working Verizon phone but we're not sure. Neither of us will ever enter this store again. read more

I went to this store to see a phone in person in which I had ordered on line. The clerk told me that I should be receiving a tablet with this purchase. He went to his counter and began asking me questions about the cell I had ordered. He then bought out another phone, and advised he was going to get my phone to me right now along with the tablet. I thought that would be great until I found out it was a completely different phone and he wanted me to pay almost double what I had purchased the other phone for. I told him "no" I did not want to do business like this I have a phone on the way. I received my phone and had a horrible time getting it set up. I found out this clerk had went into the system and made it look like I purchased another phone. So I had two accounts opened owing money on one. I went to another store where the clerk fixed the problem with the different accounts that were opened and set up my phone. She was awesome. However, the store on Pt. Fosdick was awful. They are just trying to upgrade to make money with absolutely no customer service skills. I DO NOT recommend the Verizon Store on Pt. Fosdick, they are absolutely horrible. read more
