This was my 2nd visit at this location with an appointment and I had the same service person both times. I am almost positive he is the manager. He was very condescending and said he had been in the industry over 10 years. He was so rude to my husband and I that we just wanted to finish our transaction and didn't want to discuss any type of upgrade with him at all. He was the "know at all type", but would talk over you and had terrible customer service. I would avoid this location at all cost. read more

I switched over and got Verizon's new Home Internet. I loved working with him he's relatable and seems honest. Loving our new phones and Internet. I got $1000 off my new phones too. read more

Upgraded my Apple Watch online and wanted to pick up in store - this was the closest location to my work, so I chose to pick up here. My husband went and picked up my watch for me and when I went to open it, the box with the actual watch in it was not sealed. (The separate box with the band was sealed though which was what made me think it even more odd.) The watch also had no charge and did not have the plastic film on the face. (After calling customer care, confirmed that ALL devices ALWAYS have some charge when purchased.) So between the device being not sealed and not charged, it's very obvious that they tried to pass off a USED watch as brand new. I did not purchase a refurbished watch, I expect it to be brand new. Will never do business with this shop again. I thought it was an official Verizon store - it is NOT! If you do shop here, check your devices before leaving the store. ETA: After sitting at the store for TWO HOURS, they finally said they could not do a return on the watch. I would have to come back later. The guy was VERY rude and obnoxious to both my husband and I. Also speaking so loudly that the entire store knew our business. My husband went in first and the guy told him that "none of them are ever sealed" so it was normal. Once I got sick of waiting in the car and went in, the guy told ME that it had been opened just to show a customer. Since the charge was gone though, it makes me think they sold it, took a return on it, and then tried to pass it off as new to me. Well, I don't care if the customer only had it for 2 hours - that makes it NOT new. So he obviously was lying to either my husband or me also since we both got different stories. I finally took the watch back and called customer care to return it that way and to put in a complaint with the store. read more

I traded in my phone at Verizon and never received the trade in value for my phone. I have tried respectfully to resolve my issue with Verizon and they are acting like I'm a liar and never traded in my phone. I'm out $800.00. Do not do business at the Verizon in Garland on President George Bush Freeway. I believe they are running a scam at this location and Alexandria stole my phone. read more

My mom and I went to this location on a wednesday morning to trade in/upgrade an Apple Watch. We walked in and was greeted my the manger at the door. After that we walked in a was helped my Matt Turbin. However, we never saw the manager again... Initially, we felt that Matt had an attitude but decided to look past it. Carrying on, he was like unhelpful person we have ever encountered. We need a charger to turn the watch on and he kept telling us we were out of luck because they don't have a watch charger in store... (why not???) Matt turned around and asked two other people if they had a charger in store, they both said no, then Matt turned around to and said "See!!" ... how condescending. When my mom and I finally decided to leave, Matt stormed off, with our watch!!!!!... and didn't say anything. That's when two other Verizon guys met us at the door to try and resolve our issue... A little too late for that!! We grabbed our things and headed to the Murphy location and they were more than helpful and accommodating!! They even had a watch charger in that store! read more

I was in dire need of assistance from my so called customer service team at the verizon store. I ordered a replacement phone it was shipped to me with no battery, so I was reading up on how to transfer my files, contacts, pics etc and Wi-Fi seemed like my best option so as I'm removing the sim card from my old LG V20 to the new one I realize a new battery wasn't shipped put so there was no actual way for me to transfer the files without in fact having 2 batteries one for the old and one for the replacement. I went into the store hoping to,find a lifeline but was simply met with condescending remarks. I asked if they could transfer my things from my old phone to the new one amd was told um no because we haven't had that machine in years. Im like okay do you have an extra battery so that I can at least do the transfer on Wi-Fi the employee smirked and said no we dont carry batteries in the store but you can go buy one across the street at this point I'm over it I have 5 days to return the old phone back or I'll be charged 500$. The ironic thing is when I left there I immediately got in the car and called the store on,coit they said come on in we can transfer the files there are so many different options we have in transferring the files, they had me momemtarily until they told me it would be a 60$ set up fee at which point im like you're not setting anything up, just disgusted overall with verizon their stores and their service, they charge way to much to offer so little. I'm super close to switching carriers, currently shopping other carriers for review. read more

I thought the associate was unhelpful and snarky. She asked me questions that she could have found by looking at my account (which she had already pulled up) and she refused to let me pull the SIM card from my old phone so she could activate a new one instead. Because of this I was at the store for a half hour longer than necessary, and even when I left the new phone wasn't fully activated. read more

I was looking for a new phone, my 2 years contract had expired and my Balckberry is pretty old. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a lady and directed us to the wall of smart phones. when we decided for the phone, I approached her to ask for her assistance and she just rolled her eyes. No eye contact either. It seemed like she just did not want to do her job anymore. then finally approached and just gave us the look and body language of " so, do you want anything".... I just thought to myself " I'm leaving this place ".... so I did. Too bad people hurts business with their attitudes. I'm still shopping for a phone, so I might just do it online, since there is no risk on dealing with this kind of behaviour...sad. read more

I still am not over the fact that when I had issues with my previous phone not holding a charge that I was told to go by a battery which was over $60 and a short fix. And still ended up buying a new phone in October since it was apparently not the battery but the sim card that had apparently become corrupt. After trying to resolve this issue on line with a great friendly knowledgeable rep and then told go into a Verizon store for a sims card was just more frustrating. 2 sims cards were tried and told this often happens for some reason when the phone will no longer work once the original sim car becomes corrupted. Well, I ended up buying a new phone that could have been a more expensive one had I not just spent the $60 on a replacement battery...the service here has seriously gone down hill since the remodeling of the store. Looks like a radio shack and even they had better service back in the day. Afford this store if at all possible. read more

Matt is an associate there he steals money you ask about plan upgrades or bills and he can't explain yet charged my account for upgrades I did not approve he's the worst one oh and the manager says I'm lying, look 406$ for two cell phones is crazy I have the bills to prove everything. I went in to get a new Pixel 3XL and was told I was eligible for a monthly payment of $30 for 24 months. The next day I was called and told that they could no longer honor that payment and it would be $42 per month. They refused to make any concessions for the mistake other than offer me the Pixel 3 which was on sale but was a lesser phone. Taking the phone back and looking for a carrier other than Verizon. read more

Poor customer service, the woman acted as if she hated her job and when she talked to me she would just stare at her pad. I was there to cancel one of my lines and so she did after a 15 min wait on her to figure out what she was doing she just handed me a receipt. Didn't tell me what my new balance was or anything. Basically I had to ask her questions that she should have known and been already told me. It's very sad that people like this work here and it makes customers feel awkward read more

I wish I could rate it 0 stars!! I have been a verizon customer for 12 years and everytime I go into this location, I get treated HORRIBLY!!! They are always saying how they can't do the things that customer service says they can do and raise their voice at you and talk over you. Even though this is the closest location to me, I will NEVER go there again. I recommend you save yourself the time and headache and find another location. read more
