They should troubleshoot outside first or not charge you when the problem is the line to your house. I argued with Opimum but lost because they do not escalate your complaint only say i talked with my supervisor and he says this, without ever allowing you to speak to a decision maker. I gave 2 stars because I am sure that another customer received worse service and i do not want to take away from their experience

This internet provider used to be too good to be true. As of last night when the service went down…read moreand NO one was monitoring the system and no one created a recording to let customers know what was going on (like they used to) I'm changing my mind about this company. Sadly, it seems to have gone way so many companies do...down! System is back up 12 hours later. I called the local Wills Point, TX phone number to find out what had happened and ask why there was no one on a recorded statement explaining the issue and when internet would be back online. I got someone that I couldn't understand half of what he said and wouldn't let me speak to someone that I could understand. I clearly wasn't in Texas anymore. When asked about last night's connectivity issue, he wasn't allowed to tell me that either. I'm not sure why he even answered the phone! Can not and will not recommend this IP. Too bad. It was the best one by far. Not anymore :(

Problems like hidden fees are not hidden at all as it is clearly mentioned in their agreement about the payment processing @ $3 per payment monthly. Which can be simply avoided if checks are mail directly or sent digitally from your bank. By the way most bank offer free digital checking at no cost and is a great way to save on processing fees at most places that have recurring payment. The first thing you should understand is One Ring Networks doesn't do anything except collect money…read morewhen it comes to phone service. They don't own any of the equipment or lines, they simply buy phone service from CenturyLink and resell it to you and others. As a result, when something goes wrong, they are of only marginal assistance in obtaining a resolution. Specifically, if you need repair service, you call One Ring, they call CenturyLink, then you sit and wait. My phone service goes out frequently and, for the episode at this writing, has been out for two weeks now. With each of the multiple calls I've made to One Ring pleading for help, they claim they are trying to get the repair done but there's nothing they can do. And, the tone of voice they all use seems to convey they are really not concerned about whether or when your service is restored (just keep paying their bill!). Getting service directly from CenturyLink is probably a better idea, and one I'm considering at this time. Perhaps they take care of their own customers better than One Ring's.
