That was all the incentive I needed to get in the car and drive to Folsom Xfinity. This was actually my second visit to the Folsom Xfinity store location. About two months ago the microphone on my remote stopped working. Talk about a shock to the system. Having to hit all those buttons to get to where I wanted to go was not cutting it. I absolutely dreaded having to go to see if I could EVEN get a replacement remote. The Xfinity Yelp reviews were not encouraging. However, there was one very recent five star review which gave me hope. Arrived early afternoon to one of the local strip malls where Xfinity is located. I must confess when I walked in I was taken aback how large the area was. High ceilings with great lighting, a modern seating layout, and a very clean spacious feel. I was impressed. Not what I expected at all. But even more impressive was the employee who immediately greets you and performs a sort of triage if you will, to ask what your reason for visiting is. Ok. Now I am really impressed. I handed him my remote with my explanation and he literally walked a few steps and picked up a spanking new remote from a bin and handed it to me. Nice packaging too. I was almost in shock... LOL! That was wayyy too easy. Fast forward to my new problem/complaint. Sure exchanging remotes is one thing. But reducing my Xfinity internet/cable bill and my favorite channel dilemma is a whole different enchilada:)! Well peeps... miracles in the cable nightmare scenarios do happen. The exact same employee was greeting incoming customers. And by the way, a huge shout out for him. Super professional and nice. Engages like he really wants to help you. Tall, a little older than the employees he hands you off to. This guy is fantastic and represents Xfinity well. Yes there was a short wait... maybe 15 minutes before I was called to a counter for my turn. However there were only about three people ahead of me . I don't know what the experience would be like if there were more people ahead of me. Needless to say, I left within 10 to 15 minutes with a greatly reduced monthly fee and my show back on my watch list. Mission accomplished! No pain at all. Thank you to the Xfinity powers that be for finally putting the customer first. Because that is exactly how it felt. This was a life changing event. Ok... maybe I am being a little dramatic... LOL! But I bet every one of you can identify:-). I will be back in a year to review my current package for sure! Whew!

    This is NOT a Verizon owned store. Go to the Iron Point location! Or just call Verizon directly…read more This store does nothing that calling directly can't do except overcharge you! Wanted to upgrade phone to get free Apple Watch. After THREE hours being held captive and AFTER shutting off our old phones we were given the bill to pay taxes (545.00) which was $100 dollars too high! Had we not questioned the calc, they would have charged our card. In addition they charged us $185.00 in "their" service changes AFTER telling us it would only be ONE charge of $30 dollars. Horrible experience. Employees are incompetent and manger is crabby and unhelpful! We ended up calling Verizon later and they made it right for us by removing all charges from their store and then some.

    Huge mistake to ever deal with them! They made me all kinds of promises when I signed up, then as…read moresoon as I ported my lines in to Verizon, all efforts to help me in any way ceased. I couldn't reach my sales agent for over a month, as he was suddenly "out on sick leave". When I did reach him, he gave me one song and dance after another, as to why I wasn't receiving the benefits and rebates he promised. Months went by, and my bill never came down, so it cost me much more than the provider I was switching from. Trying to contact anyone for support is nearly impossible. If you do get lucky and manage to connect, you invariably get abruptly disconnected. If you go into the local office, they say they can't help you, that you have to contact a phone agent. When I paid off my lines with Verizon in order to get the payoff refunded by another provider, they would only provide me with a statement showing the amounts paid, but not what it was for. At this time, I have still not been able to get this sorted out. RUN the other way, fast!!
