I was told by online customer service that I needed to go into a store in order to do so. I had to pay for an Uber to the store, as I am an epileptic and cannot currently drive. I walked into the store where the customer service representative, Joselyn, was clearly preoccupied with her partner and/or child. Once she finally noticed me, she came over and asked how she could help. Once I explained the situation, she said "oh I can't do that here - you need to call the phone number." I explained that I was specifically told by Customer Service that I needed to come into the store to separate the line off of the contract, and she immediately got an attitude, saying "well I don't know, I can't help you, I don't have the right permissions. I'm the only one here. You need to call the number." When I asked for said number, she started rattling it off - I stopped her and asked if she had a business card or piece of paper. She replied "uh, no - but you could always try googling it" in a very condescending tone. Her lack of interest in actually helping me, unwillingness to discuss my situation, and with her shitty attitude made for a really shitty experience. I paid for a round trip with Uber for absolutely nothing. After I left and called the number, I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a service representative who had such a heavy accent that I could barely understand him. After going back and forth, with him pushing me to pay off my current device, he then informed me that he could not complete my request and then transferred me to another department, where I was further put on hold. Since T-Mobile has taken over Sprint, the customer service has gone to absolute shit. I am now shopping around for plans with other carriers.

So my wife broke her phone screen on her Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra and being a $1000 phone I wanted…read moreto get it replaced for her. Went to City Cell for the repair. Mine there told me it would be $200 +75 labor, and this was in line with what I was seeing the prices were online. I want to first give a kudos for Mike NOT charging that bullshit transaction fee that so many places are starting to do. So good on Mike for that one. The install job he did itself was great but there was a significant problem: this new screen was a generic 3rd party screen that was significantly smaller in size and noticeable because the S22 and up from Samsung have a semi curved edge that gives the phone a unique look. This was not the case with this new screen. Also this screen is incapable of producing 120hz even though the phone setting will still say that it's on. I mentioned this to Mike and I'm not trying to verbally beat the guy up in this review but he did get defensive and dismissive about it. I showed him side by side two identical phones (the one having this generic screen) the difference between 60hz and 120hz. He really wasn't interested. In the end I just requested that he puts the old cracked screen back on and I reluctantly had to make him a deal where he'd get this sub par screen back and keep $40 out of all this. So he did refund the money and losing out $40 was still better than making a civil case out of this. But I'm just left wondering how someone who works on screens doesn't know the difference in screen refresh rates.

I was passed of to several different people and finally was able to get a knowledgeable technician but he was working with several other people and technical staff constantly asking him other question. After the diagnostic tests, it was determined the motherboard was faulty and would cost $400-600.00 for the repair but it might be other aspect, he never checked the actual battery which was what I was asking about. I told him, I just got this iPhone 12 Pro from Amazon several days ago. This technical support person said he sent me an email but when I checked my backup iPhone 5+, (I was upgrading to Apple 12 Pro) email was never sent and he was only interested in selling the newest iPhone 17 and i felt like this support was not enough for me, because he was constantly working with everyone else but me. I was observing other Apple customers who had purchased new devices and these iPhones were experiencing the same problems I had with iPhone 12 Pro. Not a happy customer service experience. I know from Apple newest IOS 26 release has caused major issues which was on my new IPhone 12Pro which could be why it never worked to begin with and battery was never mentioned to me if it was working or not. I contacted Amazon and returning the defective Apple 12 Pro. Luckily, my old iPhone 8 + is still working but I had to get a new SIM card at T Mobile. Why is Apple constantly updating their IOS with terrible updates which are causing me and many others issue? I cannot update past 16 IOS and the IOS 17 updates are on most of my Apps which is terrible. I had to backup my iPhone 5 + via ICloud. website because I can't get into Apple Store, or many other app.
