Thanks Broke Ass Phone for fixing my Apple Watch. Nick was very professional and super fast. I dropped my watch off on Friday and it was ready Monday. The watch functions just as it did before cracking the screen. Highly recommend Nick and the crew. The best part about Broke Ass Phone are the repair costs. I was quoted $299 plus tax at Apple But, I was only charge $250. If you need your smart devices repaired stop into Broke Ass Phone. read more

Worst experience of my life. I used to go here often, when the gentlemen with the cats owned it and he helped me every time, very efficient and the cost was very reasonable. Under new management? Absolutely deplorable. Customer service was awful. Igor was rude and unkind and unhelpful. I gave him a working phone with a small crack in the screen and he has me a "repaired" screen that had no touch capability. His solution was to give me my old, cracked screen, to which he then shattered, putting back on. It's worse now than it was when I originally gave it to him and the response was a should shrug and 'sorry 'bout your luck.' DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE. Absolutely despicable and an embarrassment. read more

Fast, efficient and reasonably priced when it comes to repairs. Have had multiple screens replaced and even a couple screen protectors installed. My kids even like coming with me because they have a couple cats in the store so that's a nice plus if you like kitty's. Definitely recommend read more

They do not use authentic apple parts for replacement. Expect a short term fix . Paid 269$ for 3 month life extension on my phone

I LOVE this guy. 1) He knows everything. 2) He is SO reasonable. 3) If your phone can be saved, he can do it. 4) He's fun!

I almost had no hope that this phone would ever work again but they proved me wrong for sure!! Thank you so much!!!! read more

Between the Chipotle and the Panda Express on the south side of Center Ridge at Wager. Kind of looks like a cell phone store inside and out. There seems to be a steady flow of customers. I had an iPhone who's battery gave out backed up and restored to a new phone. He did part of it while I waited, so I saw a string of people. Seems most repairs happen the same day or while you wait. All of the prices sounded very reasonable with a few freebies for really simple things. (Cleaning out a port etc.) A good choice in my opinion if you have a broken, reasonably new phone. Even water damage it seems. Try it, estimates and advise are free. read more

These guys are really great. It's rare to have genuine customer service these days. They honestly care. They have a promise date and then, as soon as they knew it would be late a day they called. They explained the situation and delivered the next day. Would highly recommend. read more

I cannot recommend. Their price - reasonable yes, but the battery they installed in my iPhone lasted about a year. I will not give them any repeat business. There it is - enough said. read more

Fixed the broken screen on my iPad with a cheap screen so now there's ripples in it. Either they don't know what they're doing or they use parts that already don't look good. read more

Fast service, quality parts, good prices and warranty. I had a small issue with my screen and they took care of it. Thanks!

This place is an absolute Joke. The owner is an arrogant little prick. If you want to spend your money and have your phone returned broken, then this is your place! Worst customer service I've experienced in all my years. Definitely not a family friendly environment. The behavior of the staff was suspicious and concerning. read more

Service was really fast - even on Sunday afternoon they were able to reboot my phone in less than 2 hours. Service was great and they pointed out exactly what the problem was - even if I had additional questions they provided me 3 different solutions (free of charge). Thank you! read more

Fixed my iPhone 7 Plus screen within 30 minutes. I've had screen replaced in the past but nothing compares to how well this one turned out! They were super nice and friendly. Hopefully I will not crack a screen again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to come right back! Thanks again. read more

My phone buying experience was so smooth, many choices but they helped me get what I was looking for

Needed an IPhone battery but was a little leary of getting one from anywhere other than Apple. I decided to check them out, Nick said the batteries are quality and gave me a good price. Dropped it off and came back 25 minutes later and it was done. iPhone said my new battery capacity was now 100% as opposed to 50% before and even gave me a very generous military discount. Awesome customer service, great price and friendly staff. Thanks guys! read more

There are a ton of places in Lakewood (where I live) that fix iPhones. I honestly chose this place because of the name! I mean..."Broke Ass Phone"?!? How could I resist! SUPER nice guy. Got my iPhone 6s battery replaced since mine would only last an hour tops...if I were super lucky. Got there, gave him my phone, waited about 10-12 minutes and boom! My iphone was revived with life! Normally I would never leave my phone unplugged during the night because I knew the battery would die in an hour, leaving me alarm-less and late for work (happened a handful of times). Now, my iphone battery acts brand new! It lasts all day and i've been leaving it unplugged during the night even with as low as 35% battery and it's still alive in the morning to wake my lazy ass up for work with all 5,873 alarms I set up (NOT a morning person...snooze is life) and still has like 31% in it! Battery and service all together with tax cost me about $54...worth it. (Side note: color scheme in the store is dope as hell!!!!!!) read more

Fixed my phone up right quick. Friendly service, did what they promised. Price was whatever. The only annoying thing is that they never answer the phone and it's a recording about how they are serving a lobby full of people. But the lobby is empty. read more

Quick. Easy. Less than $100 so relatively painless... I'm a fan. Hopefully I don't have to be a repeat customer.... but I do recommend this place if you need your screen fixed fast! read more

My cell phone had gotten water damage after an intense rainstorm and was stuck in headphone mode. Basically I could only talk on it if I used speaker phone or a Bluetooth speaker. This company fixed my phone in less than an hour. It cost me about $75.00 which is WAY less than a new phone would cost. My phone worked great otherwise so it didn't make sense to trade it in yet. Thanks to this company, my husband and I can continue riding out our cheap phone plan until they actually do die. I highly recommend this company! read more

They are lucky they got one star... and that is because there is NOT an option for 0 stars. Got completely ripped off by the branch in rocky river. My ipad glass cracked and I went in to fix it. I paid them $300 and they called me back and said they broke the home button so needed to get me a new ipad. The new ipad DOES NOT WORK and the battery completely drains in 2 hours. I have been going to the apple store and on the phone and found out this ipad is from 2016. COMPLETELY GOT RIPPED OFF AND $400 spent cause now had to replace a battery. DO NOT GO TO THE ROCKY RIVER STORE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO WASTE. read more

Brought my daughter iphone xr in on Nov.1st to have her screen replaced. Great service but then after 2 weeks of having it the screen stopped working. Called ahead of time said they would replace it because they sometimes get a bad batch of screens. Then the manager was extremely rude accused it as being a different phone then he said he refuses to replace it because it looks beat up.There was no damage to the phone. There were some scuff marks from removing the case not a scratch or crack hadnt been dropped or damaged. Manager was mean and rude. read more

I had an HTC10 smart phone whose battery life diminished to the point where it would turn off when attempting to take a photo! The battery would only last about 2 hours if I barely used it! After hearing that my son had his HTC10 smart phone serviced there, I decided to give them the opportunity to replace my battery too. I brought the phone in for them to examine, prepaid for the repair and the let me know that the battery would be arriving the very next day. They called when the battery arrived, and I brought it back to the store for them to perform the work on. I took care of some errands while they were working on it, and came back just a few short hours later and the phone repair was completed. There wasn't a scratch on it -- they were able to take that beast of a phone apart and replace the battery without any problems. It's been just over a month since the repair, and it's amazing how long the charge is lasting! These guys did a great job and I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends. Many thanks to this great company. read more

These guys did an excellent job with my phone. I contact the guys they gave me a quote order the part, took 3 days for the part to get in. They call, I took the phone to the shop and within a half hour it was done complete and back in my hand. Great job gentleman. read more

They fixed the charging port of my daughters iPhone 6, reasonably priced and very nice! Everything seems to be working very well! Thank you broke A** Phone! read more

They replaced my Samsung battery in under an hour!

Dropped off phone for charging port repair. Nick suggested replacing battery also. Got phone back, was able to charge for 1 day. Returned phone, Nick said he replaced the port, was able to barely charge for 1 day. Spoke with Nick and told him its still not charging, he said he would refund everything (about $130.00) minus $40.00. Contacted Nick twice, no reply! read more

Second experience with this biz. Needed some advice on my present phone and possible repair. Gentleman asserted my questions honestly and thoroughly. Fixed my loose home button at no charge as well. So wonderful to come across a business that operates on old school service and honesty. Highly recommend! read more

This place is awesome! After paying insurance to Verizon for decades, and never used it, they wanted almost $200 to fix my broken phone, I took it into a broke ass phone it was fixed good as new in 20 minutes, for half the price the insurance company wanted. Thank you very much for the great service! read more

Brought my son's phone in because battery did not hold a charge and the vibration alert stopped working. They fixed everything within an hour! Barely had time to go eat lunch before they called to say it was ready. The staff was very friendly and they knew their stuff. I recommend this store and location for your phone repairs. Very reasonable pricing as well. read more

Go here first! Awesome service!! Knew at a glance what was wrong and quoted a repair price. Of course I had to go to the Apple store because I didn't believe it could be that simple and ... long story short ... came back here because the Apple tech said "not the battery ". Even I knew better! Happy ending with the best price in town. read more

Amazing local business owner! Very knowledgeable, kind, fair and reasonably priced. Nick was very honest with me and gave me all of my options so I could make an educated decision. I felt completely at ease and am always happy to help a local business! When you need your device fixed it's definitely worth the trip to Broke Ass Phone! You won't be sorry. Thanks Guys! read more

I went into this business with my daughter. I have never seen such poor customer service. Man "fixed" my daughters phone. Phone ended up stop working. When brought it back in he basically kept blaming my daughter and kept Saying over and over, "I didn't break your phone". Denied her a refund. If you want to be treated wiith any kinds of respect do not go here. Also if you want to protect your phone do not let him work on it! read more

Have gotten my phone fixed here more than once. First two times were for a new screen after cracking the LCD. Each time was a very pleasurable experience. The two guys that work there are always honest when you ask their opinion. They are also one of the few places I have seen that fix Smartphones that actually stand behind their parts and have a lifetime warranty on their screens for DEFECTS so as long as their is no physical damage they are good about warranty work. I just recently got a new battery on my iPhone after it was getting hot & never holding a charge. Was pleasantly surprised to hear that there is a 90 day warranty on batteries. This is a grade A establishment. I suggest you come to these guys before you waste your time at Verizon,Sprint, T-Mobile, Apple, or AT&T. Broke Ass Phone always makes sure to go above and beyond to make sure your device is fixed. read more

Fixed iPhone 5, and transferred old phone data to new phone. Fast, and professional service. Easy way to extend phone life, or bring someone else's old phone back to life. No long lines, just walk in. read more

These guys do a nice job and very speedy but what they don't tell you is that when you replace an iPhone screen with a third party replacement, the home button stops working. A new home button is $150 so add that to the $129 for the new screen, you're halfway to a brand new iPhone. read more

I went to two different locations and they were completely baffled on how to repair a phone. This place is worthless!!! They are rude and take forever to tell you they can't fix something. read more
