So my wife broke her phone screen on her Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra and being a $1000 phone I wanted…read moreto get it replaced for her. Went to City Cell for the repair. Mine there told me it would be $200 +75 labor, and this was in line with what I was seeing the prices were online. I want to first give a kudos for Mike NOT charging that bullshit transaction fee that so many places are starting to do. So good on Mike for that one. The install job he did itself was great but there was a significant problem: this new screen was a generic 3rd party screen that was significantly smaller in size and noticeable because the S22 and up from Samsung have a semi curved edge that gives the phone a unique look. This was not the case with this new screen. Also this screen is incapable of producing 120hz even though the phone setting will still say that it's on. I mentioned this to Mike and I'm not trying to verbally beat the guy up in this review but he did get defensive and dismissive about it. I showed him side by side two identical phones (the one having this generic screen) the difference between 60hz and 120hz. He really wasn't interested. In the end I just requested that he puts the old cracked screen back on and I reluctantly had to make him a deal where he'd get this sub par screen back and keep $40 out of all this. So he did refund the money and losing out $40 was still better than making a civil case out of this. But I'm just left wondering how someone who works on screens doesn't know the difference in screen refresh rates.

The owner Mike continues to be the best to work with. I've purchased several phones and cell phone…read moreplans with him over the past 5 years and have no complaints. He's always gone out of his way to help me. Highly recommend.

On September 22nd, 2025, I took my phone to Rick to get a new screen installed after I cracked it…read moreand lines started showing up, freezing the screen completely. Rick charged me $140 for a new screen. That same screen had multiple functional errors. Let's start with the fact that it was thick and didn't fit the screen, which messed up my touchscreen accessory. The camera looked dusty and adjusted my pictures to be super bright. Also, the screen's backlight didn't adjust to sunlight as the normal screen would, causing the battery to die more easily and faster. Then, after some time, the whole screen would jump while I was typing, so I got used to locking and unlocking my phone as a way to briefly fix it. Overall, it had multiple faults that it didn't originally have, which I thought was weird. Then, on January 28th, 2026, the whole screen went completely black. Randomly. Unfortunately, I moved out of the state, so I couldn't bring it in since I'd have a "warranty" with Rick. I took it to a new shop in my area, and they let me know that the screen used was a Dupe or a dupe of a dupe. It's made out of the country, and they explained it is a 3rd-generation fake screen and is one of the most terrible fake screens to put on a phone. The lighting was different than what I needed, and they even mentioned that those screens come with touchscreen accessory problems as well because it's not meant for my phone. Anyhow, I paid $160 for a new screen in a new place for a quality screen. Only $20 more for something that lasts. I am very disappointed that I wasted $140 here for a fast fix.

I found him online and my cracked iPhone screen was fixed in 30 minutes. It looks as good as new…read more The process was painless. My only challenge was knowing where to go. The business is in his house and the parking is around the corner on a side street. I missed it and had to turn around. The owner met me at the door because I told him I was coming, but I'm not sure I would have known what to do if I arrived and he wasn't there. I think you walk on the porch and ring the doorbell. (Or just call him) However, now that you have that info- you should be good to go. He guarantees his work- so I feel good about the work that was done. I'd go back for future cracked screen (though hopefully no more).

This was a tough decision on how many stars to provide. I give the customer service 3 stars once…read morethey finally get to you to assist in anything you need. However, the process and time you will spend there is 1 Star. We have been at this location 4 times in the last two years. Each time we are there 2-4 hours. We go during the week days when they are less busy, but even when there are only one or two customers before us, it is still a minimum of an hour wait. We have bought two new phones, traded in another phone and had them help us with a new glass cover on the 4 occasions. They are slow, not organized in any way, and I'm not sure why we keep going back except that we have been Verizon customers for years and this is our easiest access location. Just know going in that you will need to not be in a hurry and you will waste your entire day there.

Went to the store because me and my family have been having issues with our line. My husband called…read morethe day before to try to handle it over the phone and the associate over the phone was rude and unhelpful, stating he needed my husband to go in store to help him with account issues. News flash you only need the phone for tech support our account can be accessed by any device with wifi. So theres lesson one for the verizon professionals. So i went into the store and when i had mentioned my husband called a sales associate name Hunter immediately told me that my husband could be a little nicer on the phone and refused to help me as well. So now im going to Tmobile because I dont understand how a business expects to keep a customer they wont help. Especially for $200/month for 2 of the top service lines you can pay for.
