But overall we got it. Then I realized my data wasn't turned on and had to go back this morning and it took them 5 minutes to fix that problem. The woman was on her way out on break and stopped to help me so I didn't have to wait in line!! Technology is always trouble, but their staff is on point and incredibly appreciated.

In my effort to support local businesses my son's birthday was coming up and he needed a set of…read moreairpods for his birthday. So I did the standard check Amazon check Target check Best buy and I saw on Facebook marketplace that Mentor iPhone repair had at least a dozen sets of open box airpods. The owner of the store, matt, is almost always on site and he was in there doing what he does best which is making broken iPhones whole again. He had a ton of accessories for iPhones to include cases glass covers and we saw the case of airpods. He picked one out for me and it was about $30 less new than what I would have spent at best buy. Matt also has a pretty good selection of iphones, Apple computers, and pretty much anything Apple that you would want much of it is trade-in items. We got home and plugged the airpods up at first I thought were these used but they were absolutely not used they were brand new just happened to be open box. After an hour wait plus some Cody set up our new plan which wasn't the best but we needed atleast 1 new phone upgrade so it is what it is. They didn't have the phone we went there for so they had to order it...annoying but again it is what it is. Cody said it would be at my house in 2 days. Fedex tried to deliver it and I didn't realize I had to sign for it but that makes since given the amount of the phone. I left a signed slip to leave it the next day..fedex lied and said they came when I know for a fact they did not..so I called and they said no problem they would leave it the next day....they did not just put another note next to my signed one!!! I had to drive to Bedford to get it. I go in to have it activated like Cody told me to do and I wait again over 35 minutes when I was told 25. Just to activate a phone that should have been in stock. OK the man with a thick accent (didn't get his name)but seemed like he had some management authorities finally helped me when I told him I was getting frustrated...I was finally leaving and done..I thought until I seen the next day I had no data. I went back and they tried to tell me I had to wait AGAIN. 2 people ahead of me. I said I'm not waiting and I saw this girl whom I knew was the manager because Cody rudely said he would be back in the middle of helping us to go say hi to his manager Alexa came in with her child. I recognized her and she had seen me the second time I came in... I asked her if she was a manager and she said yes...I told her what the issue was and how frustrated I was and she offered no apology what so ever. She said the esim was not connecting to the right phone number. I tried to aske her if the man who put the Sim card in should have done it and she had stupid excuses..even at one point telling me Bedford should have done it! I told her Bedford was where fedex was and she thought I went to Bedford to get the buy the phone because she didn't listen to a word I said. I will never go back to this verizon. These guys were the only ones who would even look at an iPod: evidently these screens are much harder to replace than on a phone. They got it done and completely stand behind their work. My daughter had to pay it with her own money and when he saw she used a $2 bill, he wouldn't take it and told her to keep it. Kind and thoughtful as well. I will use them again!
