such poor customer service. employees can't multi task and disappear in the back. Verizon does not value customers time at all. worse than the BMV. painful to go to this store read more

Parker the business manager is great. Completed fixed my issue and was super helpful!

Shamma, the young lady who helped us, was wonderful! She helped my husband and me choose our updated phones. Her knowledge, patience & kindness made a usually painful process enjoyable! read more

The customer service at the Fairlawn location leaves much to be desired. The sales team is more interested in upselling you than being helpful and now they send you home to set up the phones yourself. In our case, we purchased two new phones and upon completing the activation we realized one was not working properly. We spent four hours -two days in a row in the store. And the day that we swapped out the damaged phone they attempted to charge us a restocking fee and for another screen protector! The 'manager' was very rude. Make sure you double check all of the charges and push back on any that you are unsure about. This was my last purchase with Verizon. I will be switching carriers! read more

No one came to ask if I needed help I sat for about 20 minutes while everyone just kept walking past on their tablet and all I needed was a screen protector but of course they weren't out like other stores just terrible customer service. read more

In and out in less than 15 minutes -- super helpful with my new iPad! Love having you guys so close.

I brought my phone in due to damages and a woman that worked there told me my phone couldn't be fixed. She lied to me in order for me to get a new phone. so I then switched my number to another phone and then i ended up getting the broken phone fixed for free through the insurance which the store rep did not tell me about how to use! Now my number has been in available and not toing back into to a SIM card and keeps loosing service! This is a business number and causing me loss or income, sales, time, etc! It's been over 2 weeks of this head ache all due to a lack of wanting To help a customer and greed of making a sale!! Am highly unsatisfied with Verizon and there services right now!!!! read more

They give you wrong information about your bill and the plain you sing up for, then they hold you responsible for there mistak. The customer service is terrible and I've been a customer for over twelve years. read more

I'll never go here again. Charged me an extra $300 that wasn't mentioned in store. & then denied to have unclear communication after 3 witnesses confirmed. I had to file a claim. read more

The worst ever. We spent time with Sunny - total scam. The guy mislead us on programs and cost. Spent many hours with T-Mobile corporate to try to fix his errors. Complete disaster. Would not recommend. T-Mobil is a good company - this guy is a disaster. read more

Worst customer service. We were long-time Verizon customers, but switched to another cellular company a year ago because of the price. After having cell service issues (occasional dropped calls) we decided to go back to Verizon. Our phones are in perfect shape, and we own them, so we wanted to bring them with us to use with Verizon. We talked with Verizon customer service over the phone and they said we could easily switch back and use our current phones. We went to this store to speak with someone about switching our service back to Verizon. We were waited on by a woman who seemed new. We told her what our plan was, and she said she would "see what she could do". She took my phone to see if it "was usable". I didn't understand that because the phones are only a year old and in excellent condition. She came back after 15 minutes and said that we couldn't use our phones because they were from another cell company!! The Verizon CS over the phone told us that we COULD bring our phones with us. The woman at the store was very unprofessional and rude. She then tried to sell us the latest version of our phones for $700 each! We will not be going back to Verizon after all. Everyone in the store was a bit rude. The gentleman that was helping an elderly woman sitting next to me was rude to her. Very disappointing service. read more

I went into the Fairlawn store at 12:30pm to get 2 new phones and service connectedm mind you I had already done everything through your toll free line, all I had to do was literally pay for my phones and go. 2 HOURS LATER I finally got my phones but not the content transfer from my old phone to my new phone. I called car about 9pm to see how I can do this myself. At 11:15 I am finally told by a "technician" that they don't know how to do it and that I should go to the store. Fine. I go to the store today around 1:30 and am told that there is at LEAST a 45 minute wait UNLESS I was making a new purchase then they had someone right there. WTF! I've had your service for less than 24 hours and already I've had to waist 4 hours trying to get you to do something you should have done in the first place! read more

Way understaffed for a Saturday. No operating bathroom facilities. If you are going to make customers wait for a long period of time because you fail to staff appropriately you should provide a bathroom facility to use during the wait. I was instructed to take my five-year-old daughter three doors down to a sandwich shop, really? Visiting this location is a waste of time and needs new management. I left without receiving any help... read more

The Fairlawn Verizon store is a gem amid the hells of the cell phone industry. It is a spacious store located on Rt. 18 in Fairlawn. The only major complaint I have with the store is the horrible parking. The two parking lots are cramped, hard to get into, and don't have enough spaces. Both times I've been into this store it's been crowded, but they are very organized and they make sure that you get with a salesperson as soon as possible, which has been quicker than they estimated for us. Getting a new cell phone is a pain because it takes forever to get it ready. The staff here, the best part of the store, make it go by a lot faster. Both times I've been here, the salespeople have gone out of their way to make us feel welcome. They're very friendly and helpful. Overall, if you're looking for a new cell phone on Verizon, head to the store in Fairlawn. You'll leave in a good mood. read more

Went in today to ask a couple of questions about the iPhone X vs iPhone 8. The employee wouldn't even talk to me unless I signed in. He wasn't busy with anyone else, just lazy. I'm finally going to switch service providers. read more

I have been using Verizon for two years and walked into a dozens of store, this store really stand out in terms of their unprofessional dealing with customers. The lady assisting me provided me a lot of misinformation. Also, I went for an upgrade and she was trying to sell me a bunch of stuff such as an otterbox case, a car charger a battery pack etc. She told me my trade in phone value($220) is of no use unless I buy those stuff!! I was like "why can I not use it towards paying my bills or buying the new device??"...soon she realized that I was not an easy pray and gave up her tactics! I wonder if this is how verizon is training their associates to cheat on customer and I feel bad about gullible consumers! Please be aware of this store! read more

This place is the absolute worst store to deal with. The lack of customer service, the least knowledgable sales associates, and the general don't care attitude of this Verizon store is completely appalling! Everytime I have had to deal with this store and associates it's a nightmare! Firs off about 2 years ago I tried to get a company account. When I called to ask what documentation I would need the associate Felecia had said we would need a copy of our tax-Id . I came the next day with our EIN form and a copy of our tax exempt letter. It took 2 hours for the associates to figure out how to set up the account. After calling numerous people and manager, we were then told we would need further proof of our business ( bank statement, financial documentation) etc. I was then told I could just drop them off the next day and the account would be set up and ready. They were writing notes in their computer and assured me that who ever would wait on me would know what to do because of the notes left in their system. Needless I can back the next day and the person was clueless. It took another 2 hours to set up an account and then I was told further documentation would be required. Needless to say after 2 weeks of back and forth they finally opened an account... But required $3500.00 deposit. Needless to say no business account was open that day. Fast forward 2 years and our business had more proof of its existence. After another 2 hour + ordeal We opened up an account but we're required to give a 350.00 deposit. Fair enough. We agreed to and finally got our business account. This past week we wanted to add another phone to our account. Because the phone that was wAnted was not available we would have to wait a day. The sales associate informed us that he would write down all the instructions in the system and all we had to do was show ID and everything would be set. We came in today and were greeted with the worst employee with the worst customer service skills yet! First off he asks what model we want. When my coworker said " a galaxy 6" He replies " what kind?" " I didn't know there was more than one" And the sales persons rolls his eyes. He then informs us that In order to add another line another deposit of 400.00 would be needed. We told him no one told us that when we were setting this up. All we needed to do was come in and it was ready Instead of trying to fix the situation he makes excuses as to why we weren't told ( he turned the screen around and said that the alert for that is so small anyone could of missed it on his screen) We gave up and walked out , frustrated. Especially when the sales person told me that when we come back to set up the account to make sure to tell who ever we are working with to check then screen to see if there are any deposits required. I told him. That's not my job. That's what you are paid for. If you want a reason to drink. Just go to this store! read more

Let the buyer beware when dealing with this facility. I came in because my iPhone 4 wasn't working well (it took five minutes to call out) after less than two years of owning it. The sales associate told me she had seen a lot of that lately because the phone wasn't good at handling the software updates. OK, so how about a phone exchange? She recommended an iPhone 6 which would cost me "$150 out the door." Nothing more was said about the price. She later mentioned that Verizon is no longer forcing two-year contracts, but going with monthly billing. I assumed that this was because customers weren't happy with the two-year commitment, and Verizon was going monthly so help keep customers who didn't want to be locked in. Nothing more was said about any charges after that point. I signed the electronic board a couple of times and then left feeling reasonably good, with a new phone that worked. And then... I got home and within a day received various emails from Verizon. As i looked through the documents, suddenly I realized I had been charged $660 for the phone, which by the way, will be replaced as the "latest and greatest version of iPhone" within weeks. The "$150 out the door" didn't mention the two years of monthly payments added on. Another document showed that I had signed up for an $11 per month service protection fee. i was never asked about whether or not I wanted this warranty, but they just automatically applied it. Needless to say, I was furious and called about the cost of the phone and the service protection fee. Another associate answered the phone, and explained that "$150 out the door" was what I was charged that day, but the two years of monthly fees covered the rest of the cost of the $660 phone (the price that was never stated to me in the sales transaction). I asked about the service protection charge, and he explained that they just automatically add that to the price because most people would want that warranty anyway for such an expensive phone. Actually, had the choice been presented to me, I would not have chosen to add the warranty and the $11 per month fee. At least he said he would take that off my agreement. I'm keeping the phone, but I would rather had had pricing options with other phones to compare. I thought I was getting a nice deal with the "$150 out the door." I've been a longtime customer of Verizon, but this is my last time dealing with them and their dishonest sales tactics. read more

I went in to switch from my Samsung to an iPhone. the employee began my transfer my information from Samsung to the iPhone. At 15% he put both phones in the Verizon shopping bag and said, "don't use the phone until it is done transferring". I walked out of store, grocery shopped across the street, then pulled my phone out to make a call. It was stopped at 15%. I returned to the store. The attendant took my name and said, "ten minutes". I approached him after 50 minutes. He was casually chatting with another customer just waiting, when I interrupted him kindly, to say it was long past ten minutes. His resonse, "Ma'am, I am speaking with this customer. You are being RUDE". That was at 4pm today. It is now 8pm and my dear husband has been on the phone working with a Verizon assistant for over an hour. Who knows how much longer it will take. He has the patience of a saint I will not set foot in this store ever again. read more

This store has terrible customer service. I was told it would not accept the Verizon i-phone trade in. But the Verizon customer service said it is an authorized location to drop off the trade in phone. This store selectively chooses who it will respond to. I have had similar experiences in the past because I live near Fairlawn and have four cell phones with Verizon. Unfortunately, the Fairlawn location routinely gives out false information or simply refuses to help. read more

My phone died from a manufacturing issue and the associate named Clay helped me to get a replacement at the minimal cost. He was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. After screwing up my account (6 lines) so bad they couldn't fix it I had enough and told them to close my account and took my money to Sprint. I visited this store for the last time this Monday. They treated me very poorly. I asked for the manager and he sided withe the employee without even listening to my side of the story. I have had a Verizon account for 15 years and obviously this store does not acnowledge or care about that. I did end up recieving help from customerservice but only after driving out to the store and getting very upset. My suggestion would be shop for the phone in the store but call customer service for accutal help. read more

My experience was interesting. I went in to upgrade, and the girl who helped me was okay, though when it was finally our turn to go to the front counter, she suggested I leave my 2.5 year old to play with a display ipad..across the store and behind a display stand, out of my view in a crowded store. That was unusual, and I didn't of course, but she even said "he's fine over there, really" as I carried my little one to the counter with me. She had disappeared to the back for a little while too, I guess in search of phone cases maybe, because another associate walked over to me to ask if anyone was helping me. I had done research about the phone I was interested in, but wanted some feedback from the associate as I was switching to Android from Apple. I asked her what some differences were and some cool features of the android, which she said she "loooved." Umm..she responded with three things; "umm..it has a large display screen" (duh!), "it's probably faster than the iphone" (great insight there), and "it's got some great features and you can get apps for it" (really?...apps?..no way..) Luckily, I had done the research myself before going there. Overall, it was a super slow checkout, and she asked me if I wanted the box (that still had the charger inside..). There was also another younger associate next to her helping other customers, who was staring off into oblivion most likely bored out of his mind having to bother with anyone there (literally, I expected drool to start rolling down his chin). I got a phone, and it was only a mildly annoying experience. read more
