I was a walk in customer to set up internet and wifi and it was a freezing store at 60° AC & mentioned it was cold. An elderly black woman told me she was waiting for 30 minutes for assistance and unattended this whole time. I perceived the wait to be long, but it wasn't. Aside from the customer being rung up when i walked in, there was one appointment and one walk in on the list ahead of me. She was here for a phone bill. I signed in on their computer touch screen, the only way to let the employees know a customer is waiting for service. I was on the wait list before her because I technically signed in and she hadn't. She didn't understand how to use it. I went to start to look for someone. She told me she tried to go up to someone for assistance on and said, "she wouldn't let me," referring to the manager, Felecia, a middle aged hispanic woman. She received no assistance or any direction on how to sign in. For 30 min. In a freezing cold store. No one came to this woman or showed her any respect until I showed up and was talking to her. I assume the manager overheard this as this is when she came by to sign the woman in. It was obvious that this was an inconvenience to the manager by the body language, facial expressions. and tone. I told the woman to go in front of me as I just got here and she'd been waiting so long and she was cold and she was elderly. She was about to leave the store and get a sweater because she was wearing a short sleeve shirt. I spoke up to the employees, the manager and the floor employee, a middle aged to elderly black man, about serving her before me and she'd been here half an hour. The employees and the manager resisted at first and claimed that they couldn't skip the line. I had to say it three times. But they can click no show and skip ahead to the next person? I said to do that but they got a different employee from the break room. That employee, D, left break early to resolve this issue and is excluded from this poor experience. She was kind and enthusiastic about helping me. The other employee serviced the woman. It took her three minutes to have her phone bill paid. after waiting for 45. She was waiting 30 min when I got there. I had only been there 15 min total. No one had any remorse for this woman or apologized or acknowledged any inconvenience or negligence. She was the sweetest, kindest stranger I met in a long time and DID NOT deserve to be treated this way. I actually cried when I got in my car because I was so upset she'd been standing there so cold so long. That's the effect my customer experience left me witnessing that! I really hate to say this but I believe the problem got solved as soon as I brought it up is because I am a white woman. I believe she was brushed aside due to her race and her age. I am appalled at this and would give 0 stars if possible. Her initials were RC. I am not exaggerating, in fact, I left out the fine details.

October 20th, 2025…read more To whom it may concern, I visited your store located at 2736 Medina Rd, Medina Ohio 44256 about a month ago. I wanted to upgrade my Apple 13 Pro and Series 11 watch to the 17 Pro and Series 11. The salesman said that they did not have the watch or the phone in stock but had upgraded versions. I told him to order the items I wanted. We also talked about keeping my existing plan and with the trade in I would pay about $22 additional each month over 3 years and that included the $7.50 for the phone service on the watch. About 2 weeks later I tried calling the store to see if the phone and watch had arrived. I found out that the phone store does NOT have a phone line and talked to Verizon directly so they could message the store. I did not hear back, so I just drove to the store. When I arrived, the phone and watch was there and the salesman asked me what deal I he had given me. I told him about the $22 per month but that I did not want a payment plan and just wanted to pay it all up front. He then told me that since the order was already started, he would have to cancel it and that would take about 48 hours. A week later, I showed back up at the store and asked a different salesman about my phone. He came back and said there was not a phone and watch for me. I told him that I already saw the phone and watch and that it is in your store. He finally came back with the phone and watch and asked, "What deal did the other salesman give me?" I explained the $22 and that I just wanted to pay it in one lump sum. The salesman then told me that that deal is no longer offered and that the prices have almost doubled. I told the salesman that was a classic "bait and switch" and that I will not do business with your store and I left. I called Verizon, and had to get that order cancelled since the store did not do that. I assumed that with my phone lines being with Verizon for the last 21 years, they were happy to honor the original deal. I have started posting this review on other sites to inform customers that they are NOT a Verizon Dealer, but an authorized dealer and it appears that the price for every contract fluctuates based upon the day, and who you talk to. I can reliably make this accusation since every time I talked to someone, they always have to ask what price I was quoted, instead of the sales person looking up the price or just honoring their original quoted price. I will start by saying I have heard (after the fact) that this store is not a corporate store and is not to the same caliber as other AT&T stores - so this review is specific to this location. I had FirstNet (a government plan for first responders) managed by AT&T. No one at the store had any clue how to do anything in relation to FirstNet throughout the entire process. It started when I upgraded to a new iPhone about a year ago. The employee working that day told me about a deal they were running on apple watches for FirstNet customers in which I essentially got an older version for free and paid a small amount each month for cellular service for my watch. They told me that this deal would start taking effect after a few billing cycles. It never did despite them continuously telling me to wait for it to take effect. Same thing with Fiber. Our house got Fiber and we were promised a discount... it also never came. So for several months we paid full price for both Fiber and the watch and its cell service. Hundreds of dollars more than we should have. After about a year I demanded something be done. They told me I could file a bunch of paper work and hid behind jargon filled explanations that made zero sense and a bureaucratic shield they knew I did not have time to get through. They gave me the run around repeatedly and wasted so much of my time and energy. What an awful way to treat an individual on a plan designed for first responders. I ultimately paid off my phone and watch completely just so I could leave and be done with them. But its not over yet... it took a week to transfer my number to a new phone because no one at their store knew how to transfer a FirstNet line. What a nightmare and what a waste knowing they swindled me out of so much money. Go elsewhere please... for the sake of both your wallet and sanity.
