October 20th, 2025 To whom it may concern, I visited your store located at 2736 Medina Rd, Medina Ohio 44256 about a month ago. I wanted to upgrade my Apple 13 Pro and Series 11 watch to the 17 Pro and Series 11. The salesman said that they did not have the watch or the phone in stock but had upgraded versions. I told him to order the items I wanted. We also talked about keeping my existing plan and with the trade in I would pay about $22 additional each month over 3 years and that included the $7.50 for the phone service on the watch. About 2 weeks later I tried calling the store to see if the phone and watch had arrived. I found out that the phone store does NOT have a phone line and talked to Verizon directly so they could message the store. I did not hear back, so I just drove to the store. When I arrived, the phone and watch was there and the salesman asked me what deal I he had given me. I told him about the $22 per month but that I did not want a payment plan and just wanted to pay it all up front. He then told me that since the order was already started, he would have to cancel it and that would take about 48 hours. A week later, I showed back up at the store and asked a different salesman about my phone. He came back and said there was not a phone and watch for me. I told him that I already saw the phone and watch and that it is in your store. He finally came back with the phone and watch and asked, "What deal did the other salesman give me?" I explained the $22 and that I just wanted to pay it in one lump sum. The salesman then told me that that deal is no longer offered and that the prices have almost doubled. I told the salesman that was a classic "bait and switch" and that I will not do business with your store and I left. I called Verizon, and had to get that order cancelled since the store did not do that. I assumed that with my phone lines being with Verizon for the last 21 years, they were happy to honor the original deal. I have started posting this review on other sites to inform customers that they are NOT a Verizon Dealer, but an authorized dealer and it appears that the price for every contract fluctuates based upon the day, and who you talk to. I can reliably make this accusation since every time I talked to someone, they always have to ask what price I was quoted, instead of the sales person looking up the price or just honoring their original quoted price. Was at this location to pick up a phone order. The salesman did greet me when I first came in but was rude, unhelpful and outright condescending when it came to questions. The other comments were right. Avoid this location. Ashton needs some training in customer service! I had my order sent to the store so I could ask questions. Should've just had it shipped to my house. This got one star because it was close to my house. But I'd drive to another just to be treated better. I am a new customer to Verizon. Service was awful. We brought in a receipt to show that we should've had a $20 off coupon. We told the manager that we dealt with a young man and she said no weatherman then the two that were working then had been hired in the last three months. When we got home to find the original receipt it was a Man who work there on January 28, 2018 who put in the wrong name the wrong email address so that we could not get the coupon. The manager was adamant that we were the ones that were idiots, but obviously that was not the case. Now they fixed it and they want me Bring the coupon back in to get $20 refunded back to the card that I just paid with. This is ridiculous. I should not have to leave my house and drive to their store to get them to refund my $20 for a mistake that they made. I tried to explain to the young man that called me who told me I needed to bring the coupon in that that was kind of ridiculous because he was the customer service person and he was supposed to make it right.He obviously knows nothing about customer service. The store looks like a Verizon store based on the lit sign on the top of the building. You don't know that I did say go wireless business until you open the front door and see the sticker. Verizon should really think about who they are partnering with. I would not recommend this place to anybody I wrote the above critical review of the Verizon go wireless store on Medina Rd in Medina. Since this review, management, I believe at the district level, contacted me to express his concern with what I had pointed out in my review. After we had a lengthy conversation, he did his best, to make my experience better. In the end, he went above and beyond my original expectations and has changed my perspective on the store and the staff and I would give them the highest recommendation at this point.
