The customer service at this location was great! There were several people in front of us waiting and I thought for sure we'd be waiting for an hour. Not the case at all! This store is special in all the wrong ways. I am now with Verizon because they erroneously took my money and subjected me to endless frustration. I will start by saying I have heard (after the fact) that this store is not a corporate store and is not to the same caliber as other AT&T stores - so this review is specific to this location. I had FirstNet (a government plan for first responders) managed by AT&T. No one at the store had any clue how to do anything in relation to FirstNet throughout the entire process. It started when I upgraded to a new iPhone about a year ago. The employee working that day told me about a deal they were running on apple watches for FirstNet customers in which I essentially got an older version for free and paid a small amount each month for cellular service for my watch. They told me that this deal would start taking effect after a few billing cycles. It never did despite them continuously telling me to wait for it to take effect. Same thing with Fiber. Our house got Fiber and we were promised a discount... it also never came. So for several months we paid full price for both Fiber and the watch and its cell service. Hundreds of dollars more than we should have. After about a year I demanded something be done. They told me I could file a bunch of paper work and hid behind jargon filled explanations that made zero sense and a bureaucratic shield they knew I did not have time to get through. They gave me the run around repeatedly and wasted so much of my time and energy. What an awful way to treat an individual on a plan designed for first responders. I ultimately paid off my phone and watch completely just so I could leave and be done with them. But its not over yet... it took a week to transfer my number to a new phone because no one at their store knew how to transfer a FirstNet line. What a nightmare and what a waste knowing they swindled me out of so much money. Go elsewhere please... for the sake of both your wallet and sanity. read more

This is not for AT&T Medina store. This is for AT&T at home Internet and cell phone prepaid services. AT&T is one of the worst people to deal with. They change your plans without letting you know!!!!!! They also have the nerve to have a four digit code that you have to put in before you're allowed to speak to someone and they made that up for me so I was never allowed to speak with someone!!!!!so I am getting rid of their services because they keep changing my Internet bill people please watch your Internet and cell phone bills around here AT&T Will change your bill. My bill went from $10-$88 a month my cell phone bill they changed it every month. It was due before on the ninth of each month NOW!!!!!!Every month is due on different dates now they just keep going in and doing whatever they want be aware of AT&T, and this is for all at&t businesses they suck!!!!!! read more

Just signed up for AT&T internet and cell service so went to the store to have some help transferring all my data to the new phone. It was a waste of my time. I was told they couldn't do it. Customer service was terrible. Went to another store and they did it no problem. I will not go back to the Fairlawn location. read more

When is my install?? October 28,2021 I called and scheduled an INSTALL of the new fiber. The INSTALL was scheduled for today November 8 between 9am- 11am I got a dozen texts CONFIRMING my INSTALL- even got one that said the INSTALL could take up to 4 hours. Today the tech and a sales guys show up - not here even 30 minutes to tell me they can't do anything until the ground cable contractor runs the line under the street and to the house. My issue with this is- This should have been done before my scheduled INSTALL appointment. Now I took the day off work for this INSTALL. To be told the ground contractor is scheduled for November 11 and then once he is done the tech will contact us to schedule theINSTALL. They just ran the new fiber in the neighborhood so shouldn't you (AT&T) all know what needs to be done to complete an INSTALL? Now I get to waste more time off work to get this done. Again I scheduled an INSTALL for TODAY not November 11 or after. What a crappy way to run your business - I have spent over 5 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved. Originally, speaking to an off shore CSR and they were rude and bait and switched the sales call to today I was hung up on by Ms. Johnson(a supervisor in the Loyalty Department) plus called the wrong name the whole conversation. Correcting her didn't help matters. I am Mrs Stobbs not Mrs Barnes. End result I am not happy with how I am being treated when this INSTALL was scheduled for TODAY November 8 - 9am-11am. It is currently 12:12pm and I am no closer to having an INSTALL done today. Think twice before signing up with AT&T. So far I am not happy with their customer service at all. Worst experience ever! Signed up over the phone and was told about a 25% off promotion by the associate if you combined wireless with fiber internet. I mentioned we currently had fiber internet but that it was in my boyfriends name and the phone would be in mine. They said we could sign papers to transfer the liability. I asked what my total would be taxes and fees Included and I was quoted the price with the 25% off. $76 (ish ) Mind you I was switching from straight talk that was $65 monthly, so my goal was to get it as close to the price as possible. Only reason I switched is to secure a newer phone. I wanted the 11 pro max but was talked into the 12 because of the 5g capability. They forget to mention they don't have a ton of 5g coverage except over by the university. I was told what my first bill would be with all the fees and it was nowhere close to what I was told. When I called customer service I was told the promotion I wanted didn't even exist. Then I had an associate try to help us in store for two hours and couldn't figure out what to do, but I'm sure playing games and watching YouTube videos as an associate wouldn't be helpful. Still had issues with every bill up until I switched companies. 30+ phone calls and two more stops into the store later I was basically told there was nothing that could be done to give me what I promised. Came in to pay bill & was ignored for more then 40 minutes .... there was sign implementation as some of the stores have ..... 3 people waiting & when someone became available, the service person went to the last person whom hadn't waited even 5 minutes. read more

My 5 month old Samsung Galaxy 8SPlus went Black screen...called AT&T customer service. They helped me troubleshoot to no avail. Told me to send in phone to Samsung, but I could go to any AT&T outlet and get a loaner. Call this particular store TWICE!! I neglected to get the name of very friendly young lady that I spoke with TWICE!! Was told to come on in and they would help me. NOT!! All the very nice gentleman did was try and troubleshoot again, to no avail and ask if I had taken the phone to the Samsung rep at Best Buy? That was the best info AT&T gave all day. Other than that, AT&T was not trying to help this customer at all. Drake at Best Buy was the best!!! He also tried to troubleshoot and let me know that the phone was defective and to send it in, under the warranty. He also helped us pick out a pre-paid phone until I received my other phone back from Samsung. Hands down, he did a better job on AT&T behalf, than the six reps sitting around in the AT&T Medina Road store talking about what type of guys they are into. He treated me like a customer and gave my husband and I more info that will help us out in the future. I will NEVER to business at the Medina Road store again. read more
