I had the most great experience thank you so much to Chris i had issues with my phone I had gone to a repair shop first and they weren't able to help me out so I went to Verizon here in Davis and Chris made my day I had told him about my issues and what was going on and few minutes later he told I was able to upgrade and trade in my old phone that wasn't working for a brand new one. I called pretty early in the day to ask if the phone I ordered for pick up was going to be ready for pick up today or tomorrow since I was coming out of town. They said it would be today- it was. I got the text at 5:45 saying it was ready for pick up. The email I got and online it said they close at 7 so I drove 45 minutes to Davis and got there at 6:40pm only for them to be closed. Not only did I waste 45 minutes of my time to drive there then another 55 minutes back home because of traffic but I wasted gas which is really irritating. Now I have to drive once again another 45 minutes there and back tomorrow. Never doing business there again. read more

I don't usually write very many reviews about stores, but yesterday I had an experience that was so above and beyond I knew I had to write a review. I had ordered a brand new Samsung S 20 from the Samsung website. When I got it, the phone was an absolute disaster. Samsung wouldn't stand behind it at all. I got to the point where I needed a phone Because the S 20 wasn't usable. That is a story for another day...But suffice it to say I was pretty upset and desperate. So yesterday I went into Verizon looking for a new phone. I really wanted to flagship phone with an excellent camera. I have been an android person since they made them. I was very hesitant about anything else. When I went to the store, I met Rachel. She was incredible. She basically gave me the pros and cons of switching from android to the iOS operating system. She was not trying to just sell me. She seem to really care that I would be happy. Ultimately I realize that the iPhone was probably the best choice. She set up my phone for me and gave me tips on how it worked. She is such an incredible employee and I so wish that I had initially bought my phone from the store instead of from the manufacturer. I came to this Verizon location because we needed a new wireless provider. What I found was great service with a personal touch. They really care about their customers here. I dread cell phone stores. But my life is so busy, going into the store is the best and most thorough strategy. I made an appt with Darius today, it was the best cell store service experience I've had in the *ahem* years I've been using mobile. He called to check in, I was busy at work- so he sent a quick text, I was able to respond and he helped me figure out every step we needed, the appropriate information exchange in order to make this a breeze. "Salesman A" came to me when I walked in and put my name into their que to be helped "next" he said. Ok but after helping the customer that was there when I walked in, three customers were helped after he was done with the first one before me. Then "Salesman A" approached a lady that just walked in the door and started talking to her about her return. Wtf am I chopped liver?! I only had a quick "My phone is not giving me internet". Then "Salesman B" came to update my phone, while that was taking place he was helping other people but there should be something put into place where he needs to come back to me when the phone finished updating. I shouldn't have to wait even longer than I already had! "Salesman B" can pardon himself from the people that came in after me, to finish helping me! Just like "Salesman A" did to me! I just walked out. I was in there from 1:15-3 pm!! For what ended up being a 20 minute update!? Verizon is already taking me for a ride looking at my ridiculous phone bill. And how dirty with their "pitch and great value" they give! Don't believe it, just another scam in my opinion! Read the fine print!!! read more

My phone went under water and was bricked, had to get a new phone a few months back. The guy who helped me at this location was good at troubleshooting issues, but was the worst at sales...he knew nothing about the phones they offered, he couldn't be bothered to give me more info than the company line on service options, and was less than no help on a case for the one I chose (Incipio, ich), which has turned out to be a major hassle. I still like Verizon and I'll stick with them, but I won't go to a Victra store again. read more

Rachel remained 45 minutes after close to ensure my account delays were fixed and then went above and beyond, ensuring I had the phone I needed and a new account set up. Chris, who helped us, is extremely knowledgeable about Verizon products and services and he is very patient too. Chris completely set up my phone. I've had an ongoing issue within my personal life that has caused a few frustrations with my different accounts (xfinity, pg&e, and Verizon). The person who was the primary account holder of all these accounts left without warning and without transferring them to me. (He even left me to take care of two dogs who were in his name in the licenses and adoption papers.) The paperwork for everything has been a struggle and a major source of frustration all around for a long time now. I've spent two years trying to contact him and have him trade the accounts to me because I wasn't sure what else to do. Finally, after months of him assuring our mutual friend (who has been stuck in the middle of all this) that he would do it, I decided enough was enough. You can imagine my relief when Rachel was able to fix my account problems, maintain my phone number (my major concern), and swap me to my own account with only myself as the account holder. I also ended up upgrading my phone while I was there! She listened to my complicated situation, had a solution ready for me, and explained everything without confusing me or making me feel stupid. She was extremely kind and informative. She probably could have just as easily called it a lost cause and tried to get me to switch to a different phone number/account, something that would've been easier for her and far less time consuming. But instead she respected my choice and called around to find the right department to handle the transfer. It means a lot to be treated as a person. She also took the time to explain the different iPhones and helped me decide which one to upgrade to without pushing for the more expensive one. I ended up with the 11 Pro and I'm very happy with it so far. The picture quality is far beyond what I was taking on my old 8. When you're dealing with something as important as this, you want to make sure your accounts and phone are in safe hands. Thank you Rachel for spending the time with me to figure this out and for all your help! It was invaluable and a major relief. If you want to be treated like a human being and like family then you should go here and see Darius! When my iPhone (of 7 months died due to manufactured defect) he spent 15 minutes trying to reset it, then 30 mins talking to Verizon tech support (who wanted to charge me $200 repair fee when I have Verizon insurance) and then he referred me to Applecare Warranty Dept which replaced my phone for free. He was very personable and class A customer service. I went back 3 weeks later to get a SIM card and thankfully he was there and he got my new phone set up in 10 mins and even called it to make sure it was all good! Kristian was the best sales associate I've probably ever come across. He had a really good attitude and was extremely patient with me as I was super indecisive majority of the time. I could tell that he was really an expert in his field; he was able to answer any question (which were multiple) I had regarding Apple products. Overall, customer service was a 10/10 from him. I am very dissatisfied with the level of customer service I received here. When I first went in I felt that the sales associate was friendly and nice. He help me get my upgrade and moved me to the "edge plan" which provides more data and no contract. He showed me the new monthly cost which was stated to be $5 less than my current bill. The phone I wanted was not in stock (64 gig iPhone 6) so he ordered it, had me pay what was due (only the taxes on the cost of the phone - $140) and told me to expect a call in 3-4 business days to pick up the phone. After 4 days I decided to stop in and see if maybe they just didn't have time to call me yet. I was then told that the phone was not there and it typically takes 7-10 business days. This was the same person that has previously said 4 days... Ok, I can wait another week no problem. After 12 days with no call I called the store to ask if they had gotten the phone in. "Well, that phone is currently on back order" I was told. That would have been nice to know... I feel that a courtesy call would have been nice! I asked if they had any sort of timeline they could give me. Their response was no. So I just wait until 3 weeks, 5 weeks or 10 weeks from now? Their response was that it is a very popular item so they had no idea how many other back orders were being filled before mine. I asked if I could just be refunded and I would get the phone elsewhere. I was told that I could not be refunded until the phone came in, at which point they would refund me minus a restocking fee. WHAT? A restocking fee for something I will never even see and wait an undetermined amount of time for? I am still waiting to hear back when the phone comes in ( 2.5 weeks later) and had to speak to he managers manager to get the restocking fee waived. I have since got my iPhone 6 at another store and was surprised to learn that the number that I was shown at z wireless for my new monthly bill was before tax, so my bill will actually go up about $8. Luckily the other company was not as shiesty and told me before moving forward. All in all, poor customer service and courtesy. These people just want to make that sale and get their commission in my opinion. read more

Do not go here. Go online. Or just anywhere else. They'll try to trap you there, holding on to your device against your will. Furthermore, they will decide prices on the fly, and try to manipulate you into buying every option imaginable, and charge you for options you don't need. I felt really really uncomfortable in here and I felt trapped. The manager would not give me my device back when I told him I wanted to leave. They seem very dishonest. read more

Staff was very friendly. However, I was enrolled in Total Mobile Protection Plan and Redux membership without my approval. While I appreciate the friendliness of the representatives, I find it unethical to enroll a customer in any plan that he/she hasn't approved. I've resolved the issue directly with corporate, and encourage other customers to review their receipts and monthly statements. I personally do not plan on visiting this store again. read more

My phone broke suddenly and I needed a new one. I found Victra, open and conveniently located just to the left of Target in Davis in the shopping center there. Buying a new phone is always cumbersome and long, but my experience felt like it flew by. My Verizon representative Chris helped me enormously, generously offering advice and etc. I walked away feeling truly served and with a beautiful new phone with all the right accessories, all set up to use, and a greatly discounted iPad for my son who needs it for school this year.
