Finally, after months of him assuring our mutual friend (who has been stuck in the middle of all this) that he would do it, I decided enough was enough. You can imagine my relief when Rachel was able to fix my account problems, maintain my phone number (my major concern), and swap me to my own account with only myself as the account holder. I also ended up upgrading my phone while I was there! She listened to my complicated situation, had a solution ready for me, and explained everything without confusing me or making me feel stupid. She was extremely kind and informative. She probably could have just as easily called it a lost cause and tried to get me to switch to a different phone number/account, something that would've been easier for her and far less time consuming. But instead she respected my choice and called around to find the right department to handle the transfer. It means a lot to be treated as a person. She also took the time to explain the different iPhones and helped me decide which one to upgrade to without pushing for the more expensive one. I ended up with the 11 Pro and I'm very happy with it so far. The picture quality is far beyond what I was taking on my old 8. When you're dealing with something as important as this, you want to make sure your accounts and phone are in safe hands. This turned out to not be the case; a change in my phone plan simply "credited" me for the charges incurred by financing these items (UE Boom 2, Powerbeats headphones, phone case, glass screen protector, and portable charger - all amounting to over $400 in financed items). I was initially quite upset because I felt I'd been misled. Lacy took the time to look over my past billing statements, explain the charges and credits, and called me back to follow up about these charges. I still regret financing these items, but Lacy made me decide to stay with T-Mobile because she went above and beyond in her customer service.
