They do honest, honorable work. I was having a rough day and my phone screen was busted. They were kind, worked with my situation, and had it looking brand new in just 30 minutes. Thank you, Davis Cell Repair for being apart of u brightening a dull day. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!! I really wish I kept my phone how it was after this experience, I basically paid $160 for them to break my phone. I went in to get the back side of my iPhone 14 Pro repaired since it was shattered. It only took a couple hours to repair, but they did a horrible job. The first issue was that the replacement panel kept popping up as if they didn't even put glue. The second, most important issue was they somehow damaged a cable for my faceID sensor. So I take it back and they give me a temporary phone and the guy says he knows someone in Sac that can fix anything and it should take 1, maybe 2 days max. Well, 4 days later, the guy in Sac finally figured out how to fix it and ordered the part for it. My phone is finally ready 8 days after dropping it off, and the main guy in Davis told me to come at 2 p.m. and it should be ready. I get there at 3 p.m. and he tells me his wife is on the way with the phone and should be here in 15 minutes. Which was odd because it should've been there already but I didn't mind waiting a bit. After 5 minutes he sends me a text saying his wife is actually running errands and isn't in fact on her way so I would have to wait until 5 p.m. It's a bit frustrating how my time was wasted, but at least I have my phone back and it seems to be working fine. HOWEVER, this is unfortunately not the end of it because not even 24 hours later, my faceID is not working once again. It appears they put in non genuine apple part in my phone so it just straight up doesn't work. On top of this, they put in a cheap backing for my phone, which cracked after a 12 inch drop with a case on. The backside breaking again was my fault, but come on it should be durable enough to withstand one small drop. I told the guy in Davis about these new issues and he told me about having to pay out of pocket to fix the faceID and basically told me off and contact the guy in Sac since he did it. Overall, I wish I can give this place 0 stars for their unprofessionalism and incompetence to fix a phone. I don't appreciate being lied to by the owner and they ended up causing more damage to my phone than when I brought it in. read more

Needed a new charging port and a newer battery for my 2020 iPhone SE. The service was quick and the job well done. My only wish is that they carried OEM Apple batteries. Is that even possible for a non-Apple store? My phone won't tell me the stats on the battery health, since it doesn't recognize it as something of itself. But it does last longer than old battery did, so I guess I can live with it. Price for two things was $80, which was reasonable for labor and parts. read more

Came in to get my iPhone 14 Pro Max screen replaced and had my phone back in my hands in about 45 minutes. Very quick and efficient service! It was $188 which was a bit pricier than I had wanted but I got a good quality screen in a fast amount of time so I won't complain. read more

Best customer service in Davis. Cesar is tops! I've been here a few times and it's always terrific and knowledgeable service with fair price. read more

The service here is garbage when it comes to customer satisfaction. The worker was useless and rude.Just fix your phone ELSEWHERE. I had a screen repaired and it was malfunctioning. I HIGHLY recommend this business. I have a Pixel phone that sustained terminal screen damage -- TWICE in 6 weeks. The staff is attentive and on it immediately. Both times they ordered my new screen and it was delivered by 1pm (Pixel phones aren't that popular so rarely can you find them 'in stock) the next day! The actual install took less than 1 hour. Very reasonable pricing. read more

Service: 10/10. Satisfaction: 10/10. I highly recommend this shop. He was able to fix a midi device's power port in less than four hours and only charged me $20. read more

I first came here to repair the glass that had broken on the back of my samsung 8 a few years ago. I was a broke college student and I really appreciated not only how affordable, but also how professional and efficient the owner was at repairing my phone. I came back again because I thought my charging port was damaged. I told the owner that I was cleaning it out and the charging cable wouldn't plug in anymore. I was certain I damaged it and needed the whole part replaced. Rather than charge me immediately for the new part, he looked at the port under a microscope and discovered more lint was clogging the port. He cleaned it out for free and it works just fine now! Just wanna shout him out on Yelp since even years later he's still a pleasure to work with! read more

I have twice now had my screen replaced by this business - some months ago by Juan and this week by Cesar. In both cases, their work was professional and competent, and their turnaround time was very fast. This first recent time I had gotten my iPhone 11 wet and feared that I would have to buy a new one because it no longer seemed to work correctly. Cesar told me he was fairly confident it was a screen problem and he was right. He replaced it in less than an hour and it's working great again. I'm so grateful I don't have to buy a new phone because of Cesar's excellent service! read more

Open In Saturday, convenient hours. Replaced my iPhone screen within one hour while I was having lunch.

Amazing repair shop. Fix my phone for the low. Would recommend to get all your repairs done here

Friendly service, price was reasonable, estimate accurate. Parking is a hassle though.

iPhone's screen went black and unusable, came to them for a screen replacement. Shoddy screen replacement, adhesive from under the screen sticking out from edges, screen glitches out periodically by auto-selecting apps and randomly clicking around, brightness constantly going up and down with no changes in ambient lighting. Went in to inform the person what was going on and that I am dissatisfied with the screen listing all the issues and asked what could be done. He immediately gave major attitude and became very upset telling me to show him the issues on the spot. I explained that they do not happen all the time but it has been disruptive to use. He then proceeded to tell me that it's either I keep the screen that's malfunctioning or asked if I'd like my screen that completely quit on me. I said I'd like to have a screen that doesn't give so many issues. He said he'd 'refund me and put on the screen that doesn't work at all but then you won't have a phone to work, is that what you want?' This guy is a crook and holds phones hostage. WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. Save your money and go elsewhere if you know what's good for you. Horrendous unprofessionalism and rude service. read more

BEWARE OF DISHONEST STAFF GIVING FALSE PRICES AND CHEATING YOU OF YOUR MONEY. ESPECIALLY THE YOUNG GUY IN HIS 20s. My phone screen protector cracked so I went to Davis Phone Repair to fix it. I went into the shop and saw a poster stating that replacement of a screen protector is $10 for IPhone 10 and IPhone 11, $15 for the latest models and $20 for a privacy screen protector. I wanted to confirm so I asked the young guy (I think in his 20s) in front of the counter. He said it'll be $15. I said "Doesn't it say $10?" He said "oh right what's your model, an IPhone 11?" (So he recognized my model from the start and was lying about the price) He said "Many people get the privacy protector which will be $15" and proceeds to give a whole explanation of how some people want privacy so that other people can't see from the side what the person is texting with a privacy protector. BUT THE BOARD SAYS THE PRIVACY PROTECTOR IS $20. So he was lying again. I suspect that he purposely said it was $15 because he wanted to pocket the change! He also probably thought it was easy to fool me since I was a young girl. Who knows how many customers he has already cheated of their money. BEWARE AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. read more

Had an issue with my screen, they attempted repair- but the casing was damaged (not their fault), screen cracked again- so they took a loss and offered me a computer (the same Surface pro 3) at a loss to them. A few days ago the vibrate mechanism in my iPhone 7 started vibrating really loudly and the home button made a hollow click noise when I pressed it. My inner teenager was ready to drop $1,000 on a new iPhone but I figured I'd ask Davis Cell Phone Repair if this was an easy fix. 45 minutes and $45 later, the issue is totally resolved. I couldn't be happier with the service and pricing these guys offer. Highly recommended! read more

My friend dropped fell on her phone and we thought it was entirely beyond repair. The screen was fully cracked and half of the screen was black and all different colors, not responding to touch. we thought she'd have to get a new phone entirely. We came in on a Saturday and got helped right away, and the price was extremely reasonable. In less than an hour, the phone was ready and perfect, with a lifetime warranty! I'm happy there have been a number of people who have had a good experience with this place. I unfortunately regret going here and wasting my money. I took my Samsung A52 here just to get the screen replaced. It was quick it was a little under 100 bucks and I felt okay with it, but immediately I noticed my phone was slightly different. For instance, the thumbprint reader no longer worked. I would've turned right back and brought this to his attention, but I had my tired three year old son with me and just needed to get home. it wasn't too long after that day I could see the glue on my screen starting to lift up. This was a few months ago, so long story short I just got done taking my Samsung to ubreakifix in Sacramento and they diagnosed it for the last two days and I just got off the phone with them. They said the person who fixed my phone previously (Davis Cell Phone Repair) punctured my battery along with the crappy screen replacement. Which btw lead to my phone breaking even worse as the screen kept lifting and functions on my phone started to dwindle (now I know was due to the punctured battery) until eventually my phone was not charging or turning on at all. So before you leave this quick cheap business a good review, give it about a week and see if your device is still in "good" condition. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Took my iPad in to replace cracked screen for an agreed upon $300. They replaced screen but in the process broke a cable that disabled the facial recognition feature. Cell Phone Repair was not able to restore the facial recognition feature and claimed only Apple could make this repair for $649. Because they disabled the facial recognition feature and could not restore it they discounted the replaced screen replacement $100 and charged me $200. I did not think this was a fair settlement but I needed my iPad and paid the $200. When I asked the owner if he could agree to a more favorable outcome he became testy and told me my options were either to pay $200 or $300. I paid the $200 but was very disappointed and very dissatisfied with the service and will never go back. At the very least I felt he should pay for the facial recognition cost minus the $300 for the screen repair. Customers be warned. read more
