Want to start out by saying these guys here put up with a lot! From the management to the employees they truly help to take care of your issues. I came in upset more than likely my own fault, and I was taken care of. I was still heated when I left, only after calming down did I realize how unreasonable I was being. Garrett is their sales associate who took care of me and did everything he could to make sure I got a good deal. Disappointed as always. Changed my plan a few weeks ago, went over ALL the details with the salesperson. I was assured there were no hidden fees and what the bill would be. Got the bill, 105.00 more than it was supposed to be. So here I sit with another salesperson (who is very nice and as helpful as he is able to be). What can I say about a wireless phone company that we all don't feel the same way. I have several phones through Verizon for personal and business and I purchase from this location. The rates are to high, the bill always has extra charges that I don't think are right, I hate a 2 year contract, the employees in the store always change my account settings and screw things up with my bill, and the accessories are way to much money. The only good thing with Verizon is the phone reception service. Hate the company, love the phone reception. I have been a Verizon customer for over 15 years and I'm just writing this review because I just opened another new line with a new phone again. The new iPhone accessory cover just cost me $90. My phone was malfunctioning horribly so I took it in to the store right away. I waited about 10-15 minutes, as expected, when Brandon, the store manager, greeted me. I explained all of the reoccurring issues I've been having ever since I first got my phone. After he did some troubleshooting of his own, he realized that this phone should be replaced. Stopped in yesterday afternoon on a Monday around 4 pm, was greeted upon arrival and signed in on the wait list in no time. Although the shop seemed busy with several guests being assisted, we didn't have to wait long at all to be seen by one of the employees. He was polite, patient, knowledgeable, got everything done with a sense of urgency, and best of all, wasn't pushy or go through the list of upsells. He understood what we were there for and took care of us and in about 15 minutes we had a new phone added to our line with everything explained and in the bag and were on our way. We went in expecting to get one of the cheap "free" phones, but were able to walk out with an iPhone with decent pricing too. The overall transaction was smooth and efficient. I wish I got the gentleman's name that helped us. This by far has been the quickest and best service ever that we've received at any mobile service carrier. 5 stars for sure! read more

Came in looking to switch from AT&T. I spoke with Ryan who advised my new iPhone XS, which I brought from Apple, would need to be returned for a Verizon iPhone because the Verizon sim wasn't working. I knew this wasn't true as all iPhone XS's have bands with CDMA and GSM carriers, but I figured there might be an issue on AT&T's end, so I told him I would come back later after I spoke with AT&T. He convinced me to buy the plan that night because a promo was going to expire that day, granting me a $150 gift card for coming onboard. I asked if there was any contract attached to that, and he assured me there was no obligation to stay with Verizon and clarified I could come out at any time. This was important to me as I was simply going to see if Verizon was working better than AT&T at home and work. I bit. He provided me two Verizon SIM cards with temporary numbers and told me to contact him the next evening to port my phone numbers to the new SIM cards once the phone issue was sorted. He gave me his personal number to contact him and that was that. Next day, determined the SIM cards would work once the network settings were reset. I contacted Ryan via text per his instructions and there was no response. After waiting about an hour and a half with no response, I ended up calling Verizon to port my numbers over which took an hour and a half due to me not knowing the temporary phone numbers of the SIM cards. The cherry on top was in the fine print of the promo - the promo ended several days after he convinced me to purchase the plan. AND there is a 6 month obligation to stay with Verizon. buyer beware! don't let them lie to you about your plan. the cute little sales girl seemed so nice and sweet but she's just a fast talker. spent over 2 hours there, happy at first. paid over $300 the first month. my fault, i over spent. but it was okay but i was told my plan was going to be so low with the credits and discounts. 2 months later, i just learned my payment is going to be approx. $30 more a month! liar. she got a good commission from me! i'm the victim of predatory practices. i was defrauded and i'm pissed. how does this girl sleep at night? i'm a retired senior and have to watch every penny. i was very clear to her to make sure i don't have any surprises on my bill later. oh, she assured me. liar! read more

If I could no star this place I would. Worst customer service. The guy that helped me was named Hassan. He looked like he could care less about what I needed. Barely looked me in the eye and to me eye contact tells a lot about wether they care or not. All I wanted to do was upgrade my phone and he tried to overcharge me and didn't tell me about the deals going on. He just wanted my money. So I'm taking my business else where. For Guillermo Morales: My husband & I went into the chino location about 4mons. ago to get our phones upgraded. Since my husband & I are so computer savvy (not) we wanted to make sure that our phone were with everything the way we had it & since we don't back up to iTunes (because of a mix up) i loved the way that Guillermo did a mirror transfer (i think thats what its called) and all my information, setting, etc. were transferred exactly how it was on the phone i had!! To continue my mom was due for her upgrade and i took her in a couple of mons. later. I was getting the run around with this other employee that i don't even remember his name. Long story short when i left the store i was very disappointed. i remembered i had Guillermo business card from when i had been there before; so i gave him a call he told me" come down with your mom", he down loaded an app to back everything up and my moms phone was perfect and exactly how she had her previous phone setting and all! This store is horrible!!! The employees including the manager all talk crap of customers while still in the store. If i heard them, I'm sure the custmers did too. They're not professional at all. Not friendly & definitely not inviting. I was told over the phone that this store is a corp store and if it is, they need to do a store check. They act with a chip on their shoulder & not very helpful. Rating is showing 2 stars & that's too high. Im going online directly to Verizon as well to voice myself. I went to AT&T and they were super friendly & so helpful. They didn't mock me & was surprised that verizon couldn't help me. I guess verizon needs to do an under cover check on this store. You're suppose to be the professional and should act like one. Employees appear to be too comfortable there that it shows. The manager that night was a woman & even she was making snide remarks like cheering the staff on. I will never return to this store or ever refer anyone to this store until I see some new faces. Do not buy from this store!!! They are dishonest! I was quoted a great price for a TV, internet and phone plan for about $115, but when I received a verification email from Verizon, the bill totaled nearly $150! It was setup for HDTV, but when I got the equipment it was for standard definition. So I called Verizon about the mistake, and they told me it would be an additional cost for HD equipment! At this store they said that if I wanted to cancel I could come back within 10 days. When I did, they denied it, so I had to call Verizon Service to cancel. Also, they charged for additional items I did not ask for at outrageous prices (example: $50 for a 16gb memory card). This was for a Samsung tablet that I got from them. DO NOT COME HERE. Husband went in yesterday evening to look for a replacement phone. While he was there. he called to confirm we DID NOT want to be back on contract with Verizon, so the sales person knew we did not want to be back on contract. After he was done, somehow he came out being charged $82.02, for an otterbox case, screen protector to, put us back on a 24 month contract, increase our monthly bill by $7/month to pay a $168 phone off for the next 24 months. They did not even give him any document showing what he was signing up for. All he had was a receipt for the $82 and no where did it say he was agreeing to a 2 year contract. Until he got home an hour later and me checking our account that he realized he got put back on a 2 year contract. H took the phone back within an hour and came out returning everything and paying them a $35 "restocking" fee for having the phone for 60mins. He spoke to the manager and said they could not negotiate on that fee because within that 60mins, that phone was considered used. Way to go with that "great" customer service Verizon and doing things right for your customers. You people should be shut down for your scam-like sales tactics. Verizon should take note to what happens to a company with greed like Wells Fargo. read more

I advise to NEVER go in this store at all!!!! When you first walk in you feel that vibe that ALL of the Verizon workers there have NOT ONE SMILE on their faces! They look bored and always talking amongst themselves! Very rude customer service and it feels like they have to force themselves to greet the customers! I've been having problems with my iPhone 5 due to some small minor defects on the phone itself and I felt that the MANAGER Louis was NO HELP AT ALL!!! He couldn't help me and didn't even try to give me the benefit of the doubt to try to help me!!! I felt like I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about! I basically felt that he was implying to me that I should get over it and my brand new iPhone 5 (that I just had four days ago) was only a minimiscal thing! If im going to pay $230 for a brand new phone I expect the device itself to be in good condition!!! The device shouldn't have any chipping, scratches, or nics at all! Especially when you have 14 DAYS to return or EXCHANGE your device! And what sucks is that I was willing to pay for the restocking fee and Louis still WOULD NOT LET ME EXCHANGE the phone!!!! PLEASE I ADVISE DO NOT GO TO THIS CHINO STORE AT ALL! NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL! When my daughter dropped her i-phone into the toilet, I called Verizon to find out how much it would cost me to replace it. The lady I spoke to was helpful and offered me some options to get a new phone. Since my child needed her phone soon, I headed on out to visit The Chino Verizon Wireless store to speak with a friendly and courteous sales person. From the moment I got there, I felt a very negative energy going on in the environment. The five sales representatives waiting at the door were laughing and cracking jokes. That is very inappropriate behavior when you are working. Anyhow, I spoke to this gentleman who was far from being helpful and nice. First, he never made eye contact with me the whole time I was talking to him. Second, he had this air of arrogance about him that made want to throw up. Third, he was offering me the worst choices on how to get the new phone. He wanted to rip me off with extra charges. I explain to him in a very friendly and positive attitude what the sales representative I spoke to on the phone told me, and he went on and on, on why it Couldn't be possible. He was being extremely negative. Moreover, very rudely he ask my phone number so he could trace my call and make an "annotation" about my inquiry. I refused to give him my number and he got very frustrated. I couldn't be there any longer, I just wanted to run out of there. FAST. I will never, ever, return to this particular Verizon store. I recently went to the store to upgrade our phones. once we got there, the workers paid no attention to us and didn't even greet us. When we had told them that we wanted to upgrade they said that there was an upgrade fee, and i've been a loyal costumer for 25 years and never even heard of this! So i asked to speak with the manager to ask why i was being charged and the Manager (Mike) was extremely rude and was explaining how they were going to charge me more money, even tho i was going to purchase 3 new phones from them, and they had no reasoning as too why they would charge me for an upgrade. I came to ask a QUICK question & got a bad experience. I added my name to the wait list and hung out. I waited about 10 minutes, and noticed 2 groups who came in after me got helped BEFORE me. I'm a young adult and the groups who got helped before me were parents with kids, so maybe this store sees $$$ instead of prioritizing who came first. ANYWAYS, the guy who came up to help me was Kevin YOUNG, or something. I told him I wasn't happy with the fact two customers who came after me were helped before me, and he just IGNORED ME and stared at me. No apology, nothing. I work in customer service so I know the drill. Then I asked my questions (pricing about upgrading iphones) and hes not only rude and short, but talks to me in technology lingo like I know what's up. I had to ask him three times to explain what a processor was. NOT EVERYBODY knows what a processor is, and he gave me sass when I asked him to explain what things were. If I can give a zero rating, I would definitely give it to this store. I never had an issue with Verizon until now. I went to the store to upgrade my phone. The customer service rep (April) that helped me was telling me that there is a promotion of $50 off Apple Watch to which I purchased one since I was thinking of getting one. What she failed to tell me that it was a $50 credit ($2.08 per month) off my bill. She failed to tell me about Total Mobile Protection until I received an email later for thanking me for purchasing it which I was not unaware of and did not purchased. She basically put the Total Mobile Protection into my plan without acknowledging me. I felt that she rushed me through the whole process when I was at the store. A week later I received my billing statement for next month and I am seeing additional charges that I am unaware of. I had to contact the customer representative online to correct my charges. This is the worst customer service experienced that I've been through. Not only did I was told false information, I also got charged with something that I was unaware of. I am very frustrated and extremely disappointed in Verizon on having customer service representative that can't take care of their customers and providing false information. I feel like the customer service rep at this store only care about their commissions and not their customers. I've been a loyal Verizon customer for years and this experienced with this store is extremely disappointing. read more

I have been a Verizon customer since my very first cell phone, which was over 20 years ago. I have dealt with many Verizon Representatives and Solutions Specialists throughout the years and I have to say that Guillermo Morales is the absolute best representative that I have ever had at Verizon. He was so helpful, kind, patient, understanding and really took the time to explain and set up my new iPhone and Tablet for me. I was worried that things were not going to transfer over to my new devices, especially some voice mails that mean a lot to me and I didn't want to lose. He made sure they did and everything is perfect. He answered all my questions and was so friendly. I purchased a phone from this store in August. There was a discrepancy between what I was told and what I was billed. Immediately I tried to call my sales person. Guess what! No voicemail box set up! I have subsequently been to the store twice to get this resolved, an hour spent each time, and have dealt with 3 different people. Each time I was told the charge would be withdrawn and each time when I received the bill there was a lot of "smoke and mirrors" but the charge was not deducted. I finally got tired of going to the store so wrote to the manager showing him my bill and receipts. So far it has been 2 weeks and I have not gotten a response. It is now December and still the issue has not been resolved. I feel cheated by this store and will never go there again. If this is not resolved by the time my contracts are up, I will be dumping both Verizon wireless and Fios. read more
