In all that time, the Internet rarely has gone out…read more Maybe once or twice a year tops -- they always send a text to my cell telling me it's out and they're working on it -- sometimes even before I realize it. The pricing is very reasonable, and hasn't changed in the last four years -- which given inflation is remarkable. When the internet went out on Friday, I was out of town for the weekend. When I got back on Sunday, my internet was still down. Alex came over Sunday night after carving pumpkins with his kids. He diagnosed that there must have been a power surge that took 6 or 7 units offline on Friday. In the process, my router got toasted. I live in an old building and I'm embarrased to admit I didn't have a surge protector on it. He not only diagnosed my dead router, he gave me a new one I could have until I got another one. This is huge since I work from home. Can't recommend this company enough!

    Worst customer service you can ever experience. Staff had no idea about any of the processes. It…read moretook one and a half hours just to create a new account. They were not even able to transfer an existing Verizon number to a new account. They tried to activate a new phone which was already assigned to a different customer. They tried to sell a used phone as new! Couldn't even complete activating the phone and had to walk out as the person who was taking care of us started taking care of someone else before finishing our process.

I placed an…read moreorder for an iphone and was told it would be in by a certain date and they would call me when it came in. Several days after the date, I called and they said it still wasn't in. So I went by the store in person and then suddenly it was in. However, the price had almost doubled since I placed the order! I demurred but the manager, Josh, insisted that the higher price was the one he had originally quoted me, which was not true. I am very price conscious and went out of my way with him to make sure I understood the price he was quoting and the terms it involved, specifically saying several times that I did not want to be on a contract. But once the phone was in, the lower price could only be obtained if I agreed to a contract (although they try to be sneaky by saying it's not a contract - but if you don't keep making the payments for 24 months, the price will go up - so , in effect, it's a contract). Bottom line - I was not able to purchase the phone at the price originally quoted (and with no contract), so left empty-handed.

    Came here with The Queen to get a phone upgrade as well as transfer her phone to a new account…read more The gentleman helping us was so nice to work with and was very chatty and helpful. He told us our options and the easiest way to move The Queen's phone over to her own account and moving everything over from the old to the new phone. Although we were there about 2 hours with everything going on, it went by fast with good conversation and getting everything done successfully. I didn't get the gentleman's name, but he had a mustache and very good customer service skills

    Experienced excellent customer service provided by Bert, an associate manager…read more I stopped by to pick up a new phone and have it activated. Bert was patient w/o being patronizing and extremely helpful with tips on using the phone and on keeping current with update notifications. He was concerned whether a particular app was transferred intact and pleased that it took. While I waited for a new Samsung update to complete, Bert attended to other customers, giving each of them his full attention and skills as a expert problem solver. Oh, did I say he's personable, smart and approachable? If Bert's store manager or the regional manager were there, I'd tell them to give Bert a bonus or raise for the value he gives to Store 7861. Since I couldn't, I'll just say, "Thank you, Bert, for taking good care of all your customers." Points to the store for being well tended. The music was upbeat and set at a volume where you could have a conversation and hear yourself think. Bert and his co-worker acknowledged customers who were waiting and assured them that the work queue was moving along.

Did you know there's a difference between the authorized resellers and the corporate stores? I didn't until the dishonest, lazy, and rude people who work here screwed me over. I went in to switch phones as my Jump plan was coming to an end. The worker lied to me and told me that she was doing it, but didn't. Instead saddling me with a new plan. Then she claimed I would get a discount if I changed my internet from my current T-mobile internet to a new plan. Instead, she added a line to my account and I learned today if I cancel my old line, I don't get the discount she promised me. After talking to customer service and a real, corporate store, I had to go back to this store to try to fix this Jump/lease thing where Luis, the store manager, got aggressive in telling me that the Jump leases are ending (not true) and that his employee who clearly did this wrong just to get herself a commission did not do it wrong. I've never been ripped off like this by a store and I've never seen a manager defend his employees instead of the customer. Avoid this scam place at all costs! The real T-Mobile stores are at Leland and Broadway and Addison and California. Go there instead or you'll spend 3 weeks cleaning up the mess they made for you. Thank Ja for T-Mobile customer service who is helpful and figured out how to fix this without it costing me a ton of money.
