They offered me a time that worked for MY schedule (within their working hours) and quoted $100 less than Apple. In addition, they offer pickup and drop-off! The owner messaged me himself and came to pick up my phone so I could keep my work-from-home meeting. Within an hour, I was at the store picking up my phone. While I am not glued to my phone on social media, like most people, I do it a lot for making reservations, Yelp check-ins, emails and text messages to a few people. I do have a second phone, so all was completely loss, but this was my primary phone. As it was a Friday night, I reached out to a few places on Yelp and New Era was the only place that responded right away. The Doctor and I were scheduled to leave town the following week and I was trying to get the phone repair ASAP to take with me. Juan was very responsive and took care of me right away. The repair looked amazing with the screen working as intended. Unfortunately the damage was not just with the screen, but far more extensive than initally thought. Not sure what happened during that fall, but the phone would not stay connected to network, even though my second phone as well as The Doctor/Queen's were fine. I ended up needing another phone, which was needed as I wanted something smaller for going into my smaller Louis Vuittons. But the work that Juan did was amazing and fast, and the price was just right. I am going to take in my HP for a rehaul, just haven't had the time to do so yet. But I will be taking it as well as some other ones in for additional memory, etc. to improve the performance.

Right after I got the phone back, the physical buttons were not pressing or functioning properly--an issue that did not exist before the repair. Shortly after that, the replacement display catastrophically failed: the screen became badly discolored with a large black/dead area across the upper portion, making the phone essentially unusable. When I returned to have this addressed under warranty, I was told a very minor scratch on the device was the cause and that the repair would not be covered. The physical condition of the phone does not show any major impact damage proportional to a complete display failure, and I have photographs documenting both the failure and the minor mark that was cited. My interactions with Andrew and Rick made this worse. Both were dismissive and unhelpful, and rather than addressing that a newly installed screen failed within days, the focus seemed to be on finding a reason to deny responsibility. I'm requesting a full refund and would not use this location again.
