Julian constantly changes prices and tries to lowball a lot of his customers. He sold me a a dragon ball figure telling me it was 70, but when I came to the store, he bumped the price up to 110. Not cool man. His business ethic and the way he handles a lot of his business is sloppy and he's inconsiderate when he thinks about the buyer. Second thing, he will leave you with dirt in your eyes. Not to make a reference to Spiderman 3, but if you do trade with this guy for either store credit or one of his items, he'll most likely give you a terrible offer. Trust me. I tried trading some stuff for a particular item, he ended up lowballing the hell out of me for 300 credits for items well worth over 1000 dollars... If you really do enjoy collecting but want to spend your money wisely and come out of the store knowing you made a good purchase from a local business instead of retail, I suggest you go to any other collectible store like Nakama or Quake. There seemed to be very little staff available, which made the wait much longer than it should have been. During the visit, one employee came across as rude and had an attitude while assisting customers. Customer service felt dismissive rather than welcoming. Waiting that long for such a basic transaction was frustrating, especially when the interaction itself only took a moment once it finally happened. A store like this should have enough staff available to handle simple things like payments without long delays. Better staffing and a more professional approach to customers would really improve the experience for people who come in just trying to take care of something quick.

I was treated like a human being and he cared about what I had to say about my problems and worked with me instead of just being a customer looking to make as much money like most pawn shops. I know in Chicago the pawn licenses are expensive and went up in the past couple of years in which I knew another pawn shop owner that wouldn't review his license and moved to work another job. I suggest going to pawn items and check out some of the merch the jewelry seems well priced and I couldn't be happier with taking loans out.
