This store has an incredible, ever-changing selection, they always have that next pick for your collection. They know their stock and they show it proudly, the floor feels half like a museum. You don't have to pay crazy prices to experience games history, and their help online and in-person is amazing. They even had some Super Famicom stuff which was cool to see. I stand corrected. I was right. First time I went to store 3 years I would buy Genesis games and SNES and N64 games. I ask questions and even took pictures of games. Cashier didn't say nothing then but almost 1 years for taking photos of some games cashier told me like some bully not to take photos. Well he never had a problem with that then now he does. I told my response back then. I don't like getting bullied anywhere I'm against all that. Ok store but ever tell me what i didn't buy when I did. I spend money just appreciate people. I have had nothing but good experiences at this store. From the first time I walked in I was hooked. Being able to hold/inspect the consoles before purchasing is a huge plus and the pricing is often the same if not cheaper than a place like eBay (with the added benefit of supporting a local small business). They have a wish list system that will notify you when a product you want comes in stock - and with the inventory turnover they have you often don't have to wait long. Amazing vintage store stock, clean layout that's easy to navigate and owner Pedro is helpful in answering any questions or just shooting the breeze about vintage games. The store seems to offer something for all different price ranges and all different types of collectors whether casual or serious like myself. RD does offer some super rare high end games that are priced fairly when taking condition into account. I personally prefer buying in person there than gambling with buying online off of photos. He has helped me grow my Sega Genesis and Gameboy collections with some awesome titles I just never see anywhere else. Shop is also extremely fair with trade ins. read more

Poor selection, inflated prices, rude employees. Don't waste your time here. I brought in multiple handheld Nintendo systems for a potential trade and the guy behind the counter tested them all only to offer me $40 a piece. He then told me one of the systems I brought in would sell in their store for $200. So they offer you pennies on the dollar for your trade-ins, only to turn around and re-sell everything for eBay price. I will not be back and I will tell my collector friends to stay away. A good selection. Things are organized very well and the person in store was nice, knowledgeable and the atmosphere was what I would look for in a place like this. The only criticism from my first visit is the condition of the game seems to have no bearing on the price. I buy retro games to play them not collect, so I usually try to find games that might have a worn label or something. Here, a worn game is the same price as one in better condition. I don't know if that makes the worn game over priced or the collectible game cheaper here. Either way I am not complaining and will be back. Picked up 5 games and had an awesome Friday night playing NES. read more

Cool store and great Inventory. The quality is amazing as well. You can tell he takes great pride in cleaning and restoring his merchandise. Not giving 5 stars though. Few reasons why. If I have to walk 2 feet and hear a the RING doorbell Chime every time that shit is annoying bro. Initially It was like ok it's by the door. But literally your sensor is throughout the entire store. I'm the 15 mins i was in there the ring chimed at least a good 30 times. I would have stood longer and possibly made more purchases but that ran me out of there pretty fast. Another thing, you gotta turn AC on in there. It was hot and muggy. Those are easy fixes though. Five stars hopefully the next time I return. Everything is pretty over priced but you gotta remember the quality that you're getting here. You can pay price charting prices for a game and clean and restore it yourself for cheaper but for the most part you're getting a nice piece of nostalgia of any game from here. This place is amazing and Pedro is a really good guy. If you grew up gaming in the 80's and 90's, this place will do your heart good. Came in today with a Super Nintendo cartridge I got at a flea market that ebay told me is quite rare, and he was nice enough to let me and my sons test it on his Super Nintendo console (it worked!), so we can resell it with confidence. Offered him money for the trouble and he refused, and wished us luck. Highly recommend this place. read more
