They were very helpful and completed my repair easily. Very knowledgeable and kind…read more My second hand GameBoy Advance SP wasn't charging despite a new battery. They took a look and let me know the fuses would need to be replaced (which I suspected) but also the capacitors. This is a precision repair. They soldered the unit carefully and replaced the parts for me for only 45$ including labor. Easily will get another 10 years out of it now! An absolute bargain! You can see their passion for their work and even though I'm much closer to another repair shop I will take this 25 minute drive anytime for future repairs!! They also have a 90 day warranty standing behind their work. That's included in the reasonable price! Parking was easy and free as well. Just keep an eye on the signs and you'll be fine.

Got a call back saying it was repaired ready to pick up, got there, and they tested but unfortunately the disk tray got stuck and said it'll be repaired the next day. I was completely fine with that because they cared about customer satisfaction and their work. Called me back after I got home saying they would deliver it straight to my house! Even better! Now it works like new! I haven't touched this Ps2 since 2013 and now in the big 26 works better than ever. Thanks for bringing back my childhood!

The owner Joe, really is a great guy which is why he is mentioned in every review. He's got a good little staff of employees who are always very helpful and kind. Need a movie recommendation? Give Joe several titles you've enjoyed in the past and he will come up with something you've never even heard of! You won't ever want (or need!) to use Redbox again after you see the selection this little shop has... There are several monthly plans you can subscribe to (we have 2 out at a time, about $25 per month). Only wanna rent family movies? There's a plan for you too, $4.99 per month. Oh and I mention the selection of video games? Yeah, it's extensive too! I hate to mention it, but I have to.... There's an epic xxx section complete with Girls Gone Wild and all the parodies. You're welcome. Pretty much every hit show that's ever been on television is there and when you rent a series, you get the whole series not just one or two discs at a time. Joe also takes requests and custom orders, so if you dont see something, ask! Don't feel like going out? Oh well they also deliver! (This is subject to availability of staff) You'll always be in the loop with the text alerts too. New releases and specials pretty frequently. The shop is located next door to the Auto Zone, so park on the street and not in their lot. Happy 19 years (October 27) to Joe and his Video Strip, wishing you many more.

Rental terms for new releases... Remember when VHS tapes at Blockbuster (RIP haha) used to say, "be kind, rewind"?

This place is exactly what's wrong with many collecting hobbies. Yea, the selection here is pretty…read moregood. That's mostly because the prices are terrible--worse than eBay and Facebook marketplace scalpers. Case in point: there's a pokemon illustrated set that just came out. It's $17. You can still get lucky at retailers and it'll be restocked. Here, just 2 days after launch, they're selling for $50. Just nuts. I guess it's clear this isn't a "card shop," it's a scalpers storefront. Don't go here looking for Lorcana--guessing the margins are too low. Except for their singles, which they sell for $2-4....crazy pricing for Lorcana. Anyways, i won't be back. Will have to continue my search for a card shop that's ethical and somewhat reasonable. --------- Edit in response to business reply: 1) i agree conversation could go a long way. But when your pricing on a brand new Pokémon set (which doesn't have a set market yet) is already 3x MSRP, what productive conversation can happen? It's just a straight up gouge. I'm not naive to expect to get everything at MSRP, but i think 3x markup 2 days post launch is unreasonable. 2) i did ask about Lorcana. I was told you "don't carry much" and "didn't have any right now." 3) you seem to be implying that you're aware prices are high and can then be negotiated lower. If that's how you want to do it that's your prerogative, just understand that's offputting for new customers. It's hard to want to establish a relationship and have a conversation when the first impression is being taken advantage of. And when your response to pricing questions is "well the hobby is thriving!" I don't think that's off base.

Places like this are why people are now looking to buy digital media only, the need to price gauge…read moreand bad customer service. It turns what for many is a great hobby into a greedy money scheme. There was not one game at this place that was priced competitively, even the least desirable games are over $5 what you could get them for at other shops. Their workers are immature and when this is communicated have a bad attitude.
