I brought my 5 year old son here for the Paw Patrol play event. Overall, I would say it was a positive experience. When we entered the store, the staff greeted us and checked our tickets. We were booked for 10 AM on a Sunday and were the only ones in our group. Inside the play area, there are five stations for five of the pups, plus the "lookout" area. Marshall does not have a station, just as an FYI. Rocky's station was partially broken when we visited, but ultimately my son still had a good time. There were 3 slides, a magnatile/block area, a recycling game where you toss recycling into different baskets, an obstacle course, and a go-kart area. Most areas skewed a bit young - more like 3-5. The go-karts were a huge hit with my 5 year old, though I imagine this would be a hard activity if you went at a busy time. The whole thing was just an open play session. You can get stamps for completing each of the "missions" (really just playing at the different stations), but largely your kid can be left to their own devices. Staff were mostly nice. Some were a bit aggressively trying to joke with my son and couldn't quite pickup that he was NOT into it. I had to just escort him away. For the most part, however, everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The toy store itself offers a decent selection of toys, and they have lots of things out to play with. There is also an area to create your own slime and various crafts you can do as well (for an extra charge). The Paw Patrol area is $35 per ticket (adults must purchase a ticket as well) plus a $7 fee when purchasing online. This felt a little steep for a one hour open play session, but my kid had a great time. I'd say for a special outing it was worth it, but I don't know that it offers enough to warrant repeated visits. read more

The experience was fine but for the price I expected a lot more. We went for the paw patrol event and it seemed like each character had its own room when it was all in one room. I also thought there would be more guidance and organization and it was really a free for all. The staff was nice and the area was clean but I wouldn't do or recommend another experience there. Camp is in an amazing experience for any kid interested in imagination. The workers are very diligent in catering to kids desires per a particular theme. The time we visited, they had camp that related to Bluey. For those not familiar with Bluey, Bluey is an imaginary character, which is a dog on a cartoon based out of Australia. The camp setting basically takes you to Bluey and the healers household, where you could play and do activities and games with the staff in each of the rooms of the house. It is very interactive and kids are able to not only have fun, but use their imagination to take them to a reality of a Bluey house. The value of admission is not cheap. Depending on the time of day the day of the week and the period during the year tickets can go anywhere from $35 to 50+ dollars. Given the experience, though, it's totally worth it if it makes your kids happy. read more

We went to the Bluey Experience last month. We had a blast! My daughter loved it! There's a lot of different areas to play and really use your imagination. And I love the photo opportunity at the end. The tickets can be pricey, and I wish they had a lower rate for adults, but it's to be expected. The store itself is nice too. Of course it's a child's dream to run through and buy all the things. I joined the top bunk club and get 15% off all toys. They forgot to apply it to my bill when I checked out, and my husband emailed them shortly after and they quickly refunded me the difference. That was nice! They have free parking available in the attached garage but it's not much. We had to park across the street, luckily we had the correct parking zone permits. read more

This place runs revolving themes to provide an unique immersive experience for kids. Bluey was the theme during my visit. There is free parking available in the adjoining parking garage, just make sure that you park in one of the correct designated spots. There is also electrical vehicle spots available. I had no problem finding a spot and there were many still available. I highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance before your visit because their are only limited slots available and sell out fast. Once you arrive you check in at the desk that in conveniently located in the gift store. The gift store had a regular sized pick-up truck that you could get in for photos and also had a pop-a-shot on the back bed. The store was packed with a bunch of Bluey merchandise, which was surprisingly reasonably priced. There is a room in the back that your likes can color pages for free or paint pottery, pillows or paper mache at an additional cost. You will also find a Schmutz Schtation Slime Bar where you can use your creativity to make your own slime at an additional cost. The staff there was amazing. They were very friendly, engaging, and really into their roles. they kept the kids engaged during their entire designated time slot. The Bluey set was well planned out and constructed. It had a lot of attention to detail. You start your journey to "Australia" by walking down a hallway where the Bluey theme is played by the kids moving along the floor. They then use the magical feather to turn one of the staff members and then parents into "farm animals". There is Bluey's kitchen, her living room, her bedroom, a slide, a tunnel, a tent, doctor and a pillow/blanket fort. During our visit to Bluey land they had a dance party, played the freeze game, had story time, had the doctor diagnose them played keep the ball up and had the opportunity to be grannies, and just walking around from room to room, taking it all in. You end the tour by walking through a secret door and finding Bluey and Bingo where you have the opportunity to take a picture with them. They offer professional photos or they will happily take a picture with your own cell phone, which I rarely see, but greatly appreciated. They took a picture of my littles by theirselves and then with us in it with them. The entire thing lasted about 45 minutes from entering the hallway entrance to leaving the picture area with Bluey. They crammed a lot in that time frame and my kids really enjoyed it and had fun. And really for me, that is all that mattered. This is a really good family event for the littles. If cost is an issue you may just want to have one caregiver accompany the littles because there is no discount for adults and you have to pay full admission even though they are more than likely there to just watch the littles. I give this place my stamp of approval and highly recommend it. read more

So I wrote a scathing review last year about how I felt I had been bamboozled by this place for promising a Bluey experience that they didn't have. Well lo and behold the Bluey interactive experience did finally make its way to Chicago and boy did they do it up right. I was super impressed by the detail that was put into making this space feel like the Heeler household. The staff was super involved in helping keep the kids engaged. My son had an absolute blast. There's a few one star reviews and I was hesitant on making this place a destination for our Chicago trip but it was honestly so much fun for our family of three. Our son is five if that gives you any context for age. All three of the employees we interacted with were so engaging with the kids. I personally loved going into Doodle world and it was interactive for all of us to go on a scavenger hunt. I thought my five year old would be gone from the hunt but he was determined to find all the checkins. I LOVED that at the end we got a sticker printed of our custom made doodle. We did not add on any of the extra activities because of the negative reviews so I can't speak on those. The only thing that sucked was a grandma was yelling at her kids not to jump into the ball pit next to my kid and another kid. There were no signs saying they couldn't jump, it just said watch out for littles. Geesh let them be kids. Normally I would tell my son some people have different rules for their families and tell him to wait until they were gone to jump but we paid to be there and you only get an hour so jump son. Grandma was not happy and I saw her complaining to staff after. Things like that just suck because she probably got some sort of discount for being lame while we're having the time of our life and paying full price. read more

Thru a secret passage behind what appears to be a simple toy store (at $40 a person not including kids guardian), your kids go a fun technology and craft aided adventure. Sort of a modern more focused Chuck E Cheese, our nephew loved it and had a great time. Make reservations ahead of time and get there early. We went for the Bluey experience. This was fun if they gave us more time to be there instead of kicking us out. For $39 we were only there 40 minutes. We didn't even get to see two of the rooms because they were constantly doing activities and pushing us to do them instead of exploring the house. My daughter cried because she said she heard there was a room with a slide and didn't get a chance to do it. When we first walked in they made it sound like we had plenty of time to look around and didn't have to be with the counselors. My kids were playing with the kitchen stuff and a lady came up and asked if we have pink bands then said "You all have to go!" She even was calling my kids to shoo us out. I thought for a moment that she was taking us to another activity but then she took us out the door to meet Bluey and Bingo. I think they should have allowed people to be there for two hours and the counselors don't have to constantly entertain and push people to do the activities if they don't want to. If they can't allow us that time they should cut the amount of time slots or the price of the ticket. I at most would pay $20 for this. I gave two stars because the house did look like the Bluey house and I do appreciate the counselors entertaining the kids and even incorporating the adults but everything was at a 10 there, it was hectic and felt rushed. Not sure if my review is worth it since the Bluey thing ends Sunday. It was just ridiculous that our travel time total to get there and back is 40 minutes and that's all the time we spent there. My kids wanted to buy stuff, like the slime which I heard was like $25 or more and I was like no way we can make slime at home. I honestly would have bought the kids a toy there if they gave us more time and didn't kick us out so quick. The kids and I were really looking forward to this, the time we had was fun but was way too short. Do the ACTUAL interactive experience for the BLUEY X CAMP event because it was awesome!!! We flew to Chicago specifically for this event and was NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! The staff were sooo friendly and interactive with the kids and even the parents! Played Keepy Uppy, read a story, and even had the magical asparagus wand! I honestly would love to travel back here! I can't say enough good things about the staff at this experience, they seriously knocked it out of the park on our visit. We were nervous our 9 & 10 year old daughters were too old but they were insistent they wanted to go. The staff guide the kids through games in all rooms of the house and their acting is top tier. We spent $36 each($72 for both me and my son) for only 20 mins. This place is a total scam - parents stay away! We wasted $60 on the Bluey "event" and all we got was less than 5 minutes to take a picture with the characters in a small, hot room. The Camp employees also need some training on neurodiverse kiddos as they are totally clueless. And the Bluey characters didn't even interact with the kids, they just stood still.
