I upgraded my iPhone at the Pruneyard Verizon store, the salesperson said with my upgrade I get a "FREE" tablet. I said I already have one and I don't need it. The salesperson said "you might as well take the tablet it is free" The free tablet cost me $300.00. I never signed a contract for it, he just handed to me. It appears that someone took a copy of my signature when I signed for the phone upgrade. I want people to know that the Pruneyard Verizon Store in Campbell Ca has salespeople that will lie to your face and make copies of your signature. They have no morals. The parent company doesn't seem to care either, they do not return your calls and give you the runaround and say another department is responsible. I ordered an item online and chose this location as my pickup store. I went in to get the item after never getting confirmation that it was ready for pickup even though it was 3 days after placing the order. I purchased the item because I needed it the next day. Nevertheless, when I went in the Woman that I dealt with went in back and brought the item out but said it was no problem that they hadn't received the order yet but that she had one in stock instead. She then charged me for a complete new transaction which included non refundable charges (setup and go service) and another item called Redux single raising the bill to 70$ more that I paid online. So i got billed twice and when calling back in was told - I am sorry you are not satisfied and was very rude to me saying Verizon screws up all the time on these - But I don't believe they do. Please don't waste your time going here. I came in on Monday to get help with transferring my mom's service from T-Mobile to my Verizon plan. I had technical difficulty over the past weekend with a Verizon customer service on the phone so I decided to get help in-store. After an hour and a half of patiently waiting with back and forth with an agent on another line, I went home with a temporary phone number and was told that David (the employee who helped me) would call me once my phone was up. It seemed like he was still working with technical support so he told me I can go home and that he'll call me once my phone was up. The next day I called for an update because my mom's phone number was still not ported in so there wasn't service with her original number. I called several times to have someone help me and no one picked up. Then finally a gal picked up but left my phone to the side while she was helping an in-store customer. I would have appreciated to be notified that she'll be right with me and have me hold at the very least. So I called back 2 hours later and was so appalled how mistreated I was. Before the girl answered, I heard her say to another girl, "It's that fuckin' lady again" and the other girl said, "just tell her..(I couldn't hear the rest).." I kept saying hello and after 5 seconds she came on the phone so I requested to speak with David. There was a long silence before she answered, "your phone will be ported in 1-2 days." Just very curt with me and seemed annoyed. I have been a customer with Verizon for over 10 years and this is just unacceptable behavior. All I wanted was an update on my phone and I have never experienced such poor customer service! The manager needs to train their employees properly or hire more qualified employees to better serve our community. I work in retail and I don't treat my customers like that. I'll be going somewhere else to seek help. Just please stay away. read more

This is not a true Verizon store and they will not honor Verizon warranty issues. I went in after my son returned from a trip with a damaged / non-working phone and we had 2 days before he left for freshman year at a university in another state. I explained that the phone had a warranty but was told the warranty was not valid. I debated this a bit but then realized we just needed to get a phone up and working so I agreed to move on. We did an 'upgrade' on a free tablet Verizon had given me (at a true Verizon store, I realized later) and got the phone so we could move on the long list of other things that had to be done that day. We had already waited 45 min to talk to someone at this store! I called the 1-800 Verizon people later to be told that the warranty WAS valid, they just wouldn't honor it at that store. I had to go to a REAL Verizon store which looks very similar but the signage is a bit different. I was so unhappy that the "manager" at the Pruneyard store was so into making a sale that he was NOT HONEST and did not advise me correctly. I'm a true 'sign & die' customer! After trying to determine if I could return it, I was told it was up to the "manager" at this store but Verizon would definitely honor the warranty still. Wish this rating could be a zero. Completely disgusted with this store. They took advantage of my 18 year old daughter and totally screwed her over. It's appalling. She went in to upgrade her phone which is on our family plan. She called me to get permission to switch us over to a new plan that would save us money and enable her to get a phone for $300 and 2 free tablets, a phone case, and mobile charger. Our monthly bill was guaranteed to be lower even with the tablets included and our data limit would remain the same. They even showed her on paper how our bill would be $54 less than usual from now on. It sounded a little too good to be true so I asked to speak with the salesperson. He assured me that it was a special deal and it was all true. Still not convinced, I handed the phone to my husband and he was told the same thing. I gave her permission to make the changes and she paid them $300 for her new phone. I received 3 different emails from Verizon to explain what my new bill would be - each saying a different amount. I emailed and texted one of the salespeople about it and was told he would look into it and get back to me. He never did. I just got a bill for almost $600. I contacted Verizon directly and looked at the itemized bill. It is unbelievable what these salespeople actually did! They charged my daughter $300, but it was not for her phone as they said. It was for the "free" tablets, their activation fees, protection plans, etc. - all of which were never mentioned to any of us. They then financed her phone at the price of almost $700 and I am being billed for it (which I understand is the common procedure now, but they had told us something different that day). We were charged for the case and charger and there are monthly charges for the tablets as I suspected. And my future monthly bills will be higher, not lower. It's ridiculous. I will admit that my daughter signed all the papers, believing these two crooks. That was a mistake on her part and she has learned her lesson at 18 years old. Verizon corporate is willing to credit me $130 for the tablet activation fees and a few other things but that's all they can do apparently. Obviously, we will be switching to another carrier. I highly recommend that you do not do business with this particular store. Those two salespeople should be ashamed of themselves. read more

I have had Verizon for years and loved it for the most part. The charging port on my Google pixel seems to have gotten some dust in it and needs to be cleaned out, nothing major. I don't have the tools and thought I would stop by to see if they would be able to clean it or at least give me advice on what to do. The man who I spoke to was wearing a short sleeved collared red polo with dark hair and was chomping on a child's lollipop. He immediately told me I need to send in the whole phone and use my insurance for them to send me another one and that there was no way to clean my phone, that it's impossible and the only way was to get a new one. Seriously? He couldn't have been more argumentative, talked over me or been rude. Even to the female employee standing next to him who seemed to try and help. I hope the management uses this as a teaching experience. I will absolutely never be coming back. read more

There is a female customer asking to be helped with two employees. One (Gianni) was talking to his friends and making fun of the customer. She asks to use the restroom and he follows her and listens outside the door so only to report back to the group in the store that she crying and he's scared of her. What... the... $&@?? Above average service from Chris. Tech support advised me to stop by a VZW store and have them replace the SIM card to relieve some problems with my Bionic. Chris greeted me as I was entering the store. I explained the situation and he was glad to replace it, but first suggested that we simply pull the old one, wait and reinstall it. That appears to have solved the problems. He told me to come back if the problems reoccurred and he'd be glad to replace the card. I then asked about modifying plans. He answered my questions and before proceeding I asked him if he would benefit from my plan change. No, because I would be downgrading plans, but he was just as anxious to help me. He did research for me, gave me materials, answered all questions and offered suggestions. Next - he asked about other possible improvements for my phone. He will do more research and call me. Brian was awesome! I was having trouble with my phone and he went out of his way to help me figure out what was wrong and whether we could solve the problem. When we discovered the phone was unsaveable he stayed well after closing to make sure I left with a new phone that I liked. And when he found that the phone that I wanted wasn't in stock, though they'd thought it was, he drove across the Bay the next day to go pick up my phone from another Verizon location so I wouldn't have to. Super helpful, friendly service from people that actually seem to care whether their customers are helped properly and are happy. Thank you!! read more

The staff, Chase, was low pressure, kind, and professional and worked with me for an hour and half with no complaints. I got my new phone and was out the door. However, after thinking better of my jump from Metro to Verizon, I returned my equipment the next day. The staff was very polite and helped me get it all back with minimal financial loss. Bought a tempered glass for my iPhone 6 Plus for FIFTY dollars. Ended up finding one at my house to use instead. Less than 24 hours later, I try to return it for my money back and I am told that I cannot get refunded but can exchange for store credit. Their refund and exchange policy clearly states, "All accessories must be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the original purchase. Return or exchanges must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and packaging." After pointing this out to the guy I'm told "because you didn't buy a phone with the accessory, we can't refund you your money back." Instead of making a scene with the guy I had him credit my phone bill for the money and left that place. ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE FOR ANYTHING. read more

I bought a Samsung phone, hated it and returned it within the first 14 days. They lost the phone at the store so Verizon continued to bill me for service without ever sending me a bill. I called Verizon after getting an email months later and they told me I had to go back to the store and ask them to find the phone to clear up the bill. Gianni took a copy of my return receipt and wrote my current # down but didn't do ANYTHING about it! Another 2 months later and collections is harassing me over this bill...I went to the store another 4 times and Gianni did NOTHING! I went in today (Sunday). The girl Marianne was very helpful but the main issue she was the only one working. A guy ahead of me was activating a new phone, transferring over from AT&T. He did not disclose he was a previous Verizon Customer and the systems and customer service lines were taking FOREVER. It was not Marianne's fault. I needed some questions answered about transferring 2 lines over from AT&T and buying an iPhone6 and 6plus which the Verizon website doesn't help with. Myself And another customer were waiting. She apologized and said it's usually not busy on Sundays. My message to the owners/manager. 1) Have 2 people working at all times for customer service and safety issues. 2) turn down the temperature when the AC kicks in-it felt like it was 80 degrees, it was so hot in the store today. UPDATE - Wow, just when I thought this place couldn't get any worse, I am shocked again. Turns out they never placed the order for my iPad. They don't even know what shipping company they use. So they placed the order again (for the first time). I get an email that the device has shipped to the store, and two weeks later, I have heard nothing, nada! I called the store and they say they don't have the device and I need to call customer service. So I call customer service, and they call the store and get the same runaround they gave me. Who knows what the hell this store's employees have done with the iPad. They could have stolen it for all i know. I went to this store over the weekend to change my account in my boyfriends name. The staff there was very helpful. They told me I could just call a number to set it up but they would do it for me if I'd like. Both employees working there helped us with all the questions we had. Once the account was switched, they were able to submit my boyfriend's information for his employer discount. I would highly recommend this location. Very helpful staff! read more

He then reffered the issue to his store manager bobby, who listened as well and they both quickly resolved my issues. These guys are great. My phone went on the blitz today, and they were very helpful on the phone, and greeted me immediately in the store. (Shocker!) They helped figure out my issue, wihch was a damaged SD card, and were sorry that they had to charge me for a new one. When it's time to buy my iPhone, this is where I'll go.
