Up until yesterday, I had been an AT&T customer for longer than I'd care to admit. However, my bud told me about a phone plan that Verizon recently launched and emphasized that it would be worth the pain of switching carriers. She also told me that it would be worth driving over an hour ( from the east bay) specifically to the Campbell Verizon store to see Brian C. because, "he's the best". My bud wasn't lying b/c the phone plan offer was really good and Brian really is the best! Brian VERY kindly & patiently helped me choose the best plan for me and my family. He tried his best to get me the best deal, customize a plan that works for each person in my family, and did not try to oversell or pressure me into making any decisions. He was super knowledgeable, explained options in detail, and took solid notes to provide me with real numbers. It's worth noting that there were customers were shuffling in and out of the store while I was there but he didn't rush the process and tried his best to attend to other customers as well. 5 star experience! read more

Ordered pick up from this store, waited 30 minutes in store for them to "prep the order." 3 employees stood around doing nothing while they "prepped the order" then one came to us 30 minutes later saying they sold the phone to someone else after we already paid for it... They can't take the phone we already bought phone out of someone's hands but they can keep a customer who has already bought said phone waiting 30 minutes to tell them they're not giving us what we already paid for. read more

Making a reservation here clearly means NOTHING because I arrived at 7:45 PM for my appointment at 8 PM, and didn't get helped until 8:30 PM. I also told the person who booked my appointment that I clearly did not want the activation of my phone to take longer than an hour. I didn't end up leaving the store until 9:45 PM. From beginning to end, that's TWO HOURS in-store. There's also ZERO entertainment in this store... No music, no TV... So while I waited for my new phone, I was basically staring at the wall for that entire time. Anyways... I came here to upgrade my phone and there was only one person here to help, Khayree. He was very friendly and kind. He spoke very fast, but clearly was doing his best to help out. I felt bad for him that he had no other coworkers to assist him. Many people were walking in to upgrade their phones and he had to multi-task between us. In the end, I was able to get my iPhone upgraded to the 15 Pro. I just wish that it didn't have to take two hours. The receipt also didn't clearly indicate the promotions that were offered. I spoke with the manager because Verizon kept adding fees to my new Verizon account. I was assured various times that I would not have to pay the bill that was almost 3 times as much as I was initially quoted by the inaccurately, possibly conniving, possibly dishonest, possibly malicious, possibly inept sales manager. BRIAN. When I asked to have the manager of sales, EDDY call me Eddie could not be bothered and so he never did. (I asked more than once, they don't care no one called me). Switching from one inept service to another. (They got us by the guts we could choose not to use phones, but in this world not so likely.) Two weeks before Christmas, being assured, I would not be charged till the 31st for a bill I do not owe. They charged my auto pay $400. Two weeks before Christmas. Well, Scrooge is alive and well and being represented by Verizon. I don't recommend changing your service to Verizon from AT&T. I don't know what's a better service. I can't even fathom one, don't bother changing. It's worse, they will lie and tell you you are going to pay less money, but you don't. You will pay more money and more money and more money and more money. They lie and lie and lie. The best lie was the young woman, Sally? I spoke to her and she assured me that I had not dealt with her before just the other others who happen to be men and she would fix it that is her job. Resolution specialist! (This is what she does, she exclaimed). Did she fix it?, NO and like a doctor once a patient has died and they have to inform the family. They use the same words. "I did the best that I could but..." shorthand for she was also not effective and got no results. Did not solve the problem. Did not fix the problem. Did not get the problem eradicated in anyway. This review is for Bryan! I had to rush over to this Verizon store location nearly last minute due to erasing my phone by accident and having no way of recovering it. I drove in the pouring rain/storm and arrived within 30 minutes of them closing. Bryan was already assisting someone else when I arrived, as he was by himself. By the time he finished helping the customer it was within 5 minutes of closing, and yet he still assisted me and patiently worked with me to try and figure out how to fix the phone. It was not an easy job and there were several issues along the way. I probably kept Bryan an additional hour after closing, just so I could make sure I could re-activate my phone as I couldn't afford to be without my phone due to work. Bryan was all smiles and positive energy the entire time, and even told us he had been at the store for nearly 16 hours! I appreciate the care he provided and I am now able to write this review with the same disabled phone from yesterday. I am thankful I ran into Bryan as he saved my night! read more

Service was slow, i wasted prob over 1hr sitting there doing nothing over 3 visits. There were multiple employees working like two but seams like one person doesn't do anything and hides in the back leaving the other person focused on the customers. I have had the worst customer service at this store over the last 2 months. They talked me into trading in my phone, then forgot to register my trade-in for the rebate. I have been back to the store three times. Each time I go, I am told a different story. Finally, after spending an hour on the phone with customer service, I was told to bring my phone to the Verizon store where I purchased the phone, and they would take it and give me a tracking number. I am back at home now with my phone. The Verizon employee was less than helpful. said I had to take it to a corporate store. When I was giving him some of the details, his attitude was boredom and frustration with me interrupting his screen time. Each time I have been into the store (post purchase), I have been met with bored, disengaged employees. I will not be returning to this location. After the hours of time and frustration I have experienced with Verizon to simply return a phone, I am questioning my 22 years of my family being Verizon customers. Most horrible experience. BEWARE. Verizon shipped my phone to the store, and the girl told me that they never do that. I would have to purchase a phone direct from her. I showed her tracking that showed my phone was delivered to the store - then she admitted having the phone "in the back" but I would have to pay extra taxes. I told her I would just call verizon directly to figure out the fix - then all of a sudden my phone went into SOS mode :) I told her I would need to leave the store and find service so I could speak with a rep. She informed me that she was trying to activate my new phone - so my existing phone would not have service from that point forward ! It was a complete shakedown. She informed me that this store is actually a "3rd party to verizon" so I asked why there is a visible VERIZON sign outside the building haha. What a complete and utter joke. She tried to make me pay a bunch of fees and taxes like setup fee which I told her I can just do that at home. After holding my new device hostage for around 90 minutes and "having to check with management" she finally let me have the device after insisting I pay a $10 "battery tax" . I replied "ok - you want 10 bucks? you REALLY want 10 bucks? fine here's 10 bucks" Verizon informed me to get the trade in value on my old device, I would have to return it at THAT store. When trying to trade my old device in - the manager would not accept it because I didn't buy it from him. This Verizon store ripped me off. The store manager, Kayree, sold me a contract based on a lot of information that turned out to be false. (But again, this is happening at many of the Verizon, so these kinds of behaviors must be encouraged by Verizon). Verizon customer service would not do anything about it. Based on the many 1 start reviews of this store, I am one of many customers that this happened to. I went in the store to inquire about their 5G internet. I needed wifi for the home office of my new house as soon as possible. Here is a summary of what I was told at the store: - If I switched my mobile biz number to Verizon, I would be eligible for their 5G wifi, which was a month-to-month contract. No upfront charges, and I could cancel any time with no restocking fee for the equipment. I expressed concern that I would run over the maximum data limit, so Kayree called his manager and when he got off the phone, he told me that he received approval to give me a second 5G line at no extra charge (initial or monthly). When I got my bill, it turned out that they charged me for the second line. By the time I received my first bill (which was late, not verizon's fault), and I saw the extra charges, I Verizon to cancel both 5G lines. They told me that it was beyond the 30 days return limit. I said, no big deal, this is month-to-month, right? Wrong! It was actually 36 month contract, and terminating service required paying $400 for each wifi unit. So that was $800. There were also a bunch of upfront charges on the first month's bill. There were more discrepancies, but it is too much detail to go into. When i called Veroizon customer support, they did nothing except ask me to pay up. So I cancelled my business account. I guess I should have asked to read the contract before I signed up, so my bad on that one for trusting that I was being told the truth. I know that this is a "Victra" authorized retailer, but in reality, this is a Verizon store. Don't be fooled by Verizon trying to hide behind this authorized retailer. They are just outsourcing the dirty work to another company, which is effectively, if not legally, a verizon company. I'm sure this serves them in many ways - they are able to reap the profits of the deceiptful business practices without taking responsibility. read more

Service was extremely slow, with no urgency shown from employees. The employee "helping" me took a personal call to chat with a friend and answered other guest questions while I sat there waiting for them to help me with my upgrade. Can I leave zero stars? This morning I was there at opening. The clerk who opened the door looked like she'd rolled out of bed & come to work without washing and in her pajamas. She was unmasked. I said I had several things going on with my phone and also needed to make a purchase, but asked if she'd wear a mask, explaining politely that my husband was in a vulnerable population and I didn't want to bring covid home to him. "We don't have masks," she said. "Well, here's my problem. My husband's life could be threatened by Covid so I am asking if you could mask for our interaction." I said. I was polite. It was an "ask" not a command. She set her jaw, then said: "Since there is no mandate in California any more legally I don't have to wear a mask." I said nicely "There are legalities but there is also just being a good person." She stared at me in a challenging manner without saying anything. . "I guess that doesn't count?" I asked. Now not so nice. "Feel free to go somewhere else." she said "I'd like to be able to finish my business here," I replied. "I'm telling you to go somewhere else. I have a right to refuse service to anyone. Since you don't think I am a good person I am refusing you service, as is my right." Shocked, I then told her that if the shoe fit, she should wear it, and left. It's true that masks are not mandated and people in our country are becoming more uncivilized by the day. But I would like to think that if someone asked human to human for a lerk to help keep someone safe, they would do that. She was basically saying that my husband's life was worth nothing to her. What a horrible person and what a terrible way to treat a customer. Done with this store. I did conduct my business at another store a block away, where the clerk was both professional (and masked already!). Take note--not even half a mile away! Wish you could leave no stars cuz this place is a straight up scam! They scam people into buying a screen protector for your phone and claim it to be a lifetime warranty that you get replaced for free. However when you go back they then say they never said that and that it costs $21 for a instillation fee and then when we said we would install it they said wait no it's a shipping fee. When we returned the next day they said it was now $15. The initial charge was $71 so why would you pay that if it was not a lifetime warranty (free replacements) if you have to pay each time! After 15+ years of good Verizon service in another county, I naively trusted the Victra salesperson when I came in with poor connectivity. The staff said I need a 5G phone upgrade, which required a contract. When the connectivity remained poor with the new phone, the manager only then checked a coverage map. He could have done so the outset. He said I live in a poor coverage area. Meanwhile, the 2-year contract in tiny print that was on my phone mysteriously disappeared, Verizon insists it is a 3 yr contract and demands that I pay off the 5G phone. They provided a signal booster but it does not work in a power outage, and goes offline regularly. Victra does not respond to any of these issues. Very disappointing. read more

My daughter and I went in recently to upgrade our phones and renew our contracts . First, everyone should be aware that this is not an actual Verizon store. It is owned by a different company. Second, this store generally only has one person working during the day. So expect a long wait to be helped. Since it is not a Verizon store they spend a lot of time trying to upsell you accessories and charge you for transferring information, which is a simple task that can be done at home. I was told that both of us were eligible for a phone upgrade and were told to bring back my daughter's phone within 30 days for the trade. My phone was not in stock so it was ordered. I returned two weeks later, when my phone had arrived. First, the assistant manager had the phone delivered to the wrong store. So I was told to come back another day. Then the person working told me that my daughter's phone had not been eligible for an upgrade and that I could not trade in her phone. Even though I had a receipt showing that I had been given full trade in value for her phone, Sally refused to take the phone for trade in. The manager refused to speak to me on the phone and they also refused to make an appointment for me to come in to discuss the matter with him. Absolutely no apology for the assistant manager's deceptive practices nor for inconveniencing me because they had the phone delivered to the wrong location. I will be contacting Verizon to complain about this retailer, as well as the Better Business Bureau regarding their refusal to honor the contract and receipt that I had from them. read more

December 9, 2023 my husband and I came into this location and got an iPhone as well as an Apple Watch spending over 800 dollars. December 10, 2023 there was another line added to my account which was a iPad that I never authorized. I wasn't even in town! To make matters worse, I got a print out there was a signature! I had switched from t-mobile to Verizon and I was constantly told the switch would include $500. After weeks, I saw no $500 on my account. So i called them, several times. First I was told that it was only $350. Then I was told no money because I missed responding to an email. Then a lady, I talked to her for hours, she fixed it, she said I would get $500. In 5-10 business days. Again nothing happened. I called again and was told there was no $500 for me. So I canceled. 6 weeks later, my account was already canceled, I received an email, that I owed Verizon $500. So I walked to this shop to get things clarified. They couldn't help me, so I called from their store the customer service. A guy tried to help: asking me if I ever received an email with a gift card about $500. First time I heard that the $500 was in giftcard. His supervisor took over and she said she would take care of it. That was in March 2022. 10/25 I received a phone call from McCarthy Burgess and Wolff, located in the east coast. She claimed they had sent me a mail - but in actuality, they tried to get my social and verify my address (my intuition). It was an attempt of depth collection. My 5cents: Verizon is doing this with all their customers: 1. claim a $500 benefit for switching 2. not paying 3. when the customer leaves keep charging till depth collection. I like to take legal action against this. If someone is interested, please contact me - I like to file a class action suit. read more

Verizon, their customer service has gone down hill to the point I am going to have to change providers. I have been with them 13 years and I have never been lied to and deceived so many times that it has come to the point I need to change providers. The last straw I was told the 49.00 replacement fee and the shipping fee was going to be removed. I would not have to pay. I receive the phone. I call Verizon IT to transfer data and phone. I have nothing but problems with the techs. Neither tech I spoke with could complete the task, I spoke with Christian and Marie. I have to go to the store to have my phone transferred and I have to pay 29.00 for the service. I was not happy. I called Verizon and complained and the 29.00 fee was waived. I go to look at my bill and low and behold the 49.00 replacement fee was added. I just had to call Verizon again to get that taken off. Absolutely horrible customer service experience at this store - I went to upgrade my phone and plans, but the person at the front desk looks like made a mistake in ringing stuff out when I asked for a 256GB phone but I received a 128GB phone. I had gone back to return my phone and upgrade to 256GB - and there was David, the "manager"! He did not seem to care about customer service or Verizon brand for that matter. He was outright rude. He was happy to get the 128GB phone back and revert everything to my original plan and my original phone. Almost a 50% revenue loss for VZW. Never apologized for the store mistake and the time that was wasted in transferring data back and forth between the phones. Abysmal customer service. I was a loyal customer to VZ for 10 years - this once incident at the store has made me consider switching to TMO or ATT. I'd be careful when dealing with this shop. read more

Going through a nightmare with this store. Ordered the upgrade to Iphone 15 Pro and got it a few days later from this store. Customer service with clerk was dismal and sad. Got the new phone and used for one week -- battery drains much faster than the one on my Iphone 11 and decided to return it today. The store charged me $55 restocking fee and $40 of a set up fee and is holding that money. I was NOT told beforehand that I would be charged these fees. All the advertisement on TV about a free upgrade; you are also told that you have 1 month to use the phone and return if you are not happy. But I was not told by no one about these fees. Before you even step foot into this establishment, DO. YOUR. HOMEWORK on what you need exactly, what everything will cost to do what you need to do, etc. I went in because my Pixel 3a suddenly bricked on me. Because I had cracks on my screen I was unable to use the warranty, which is completely understandable. However, the choices they gave me to solve my phone problem was, a) Upgrade to the new LG G8 for $240. That's it! No offer to pull up my insurance to see what my deductible would be, none of that - I had to get them to begrudgingly do that of my own accord. But this isn't even the worst part. They outright lied to me about how much the deductible would cost! The dude helping me said it would cost "around $180" to get a refurbished Pixel 3a sent to me. He used that as a sales pitch to ensure me that I "wouldn't be paying much more" for an upgrade to the G8. I insisted on the deductible anyway. Turns out at the very last minute, when it came time to charge my card, the lady standing next to him says "oh! For some reason they only charged you $99 for the deductible." WAT. So whether the false information was due to simple ignorance/no due diligence to check for me beforehand, or, worst case scenario, I was straight up lied to in order to upgrade, this is some shady business. I understand these people are salesman and have a sales quota to meet. But they're taking the "every walk-in is a sales opportunity" to Wells Fargo-like levels of deceit and absolute douchebaggery. Be very wary before walking into this Verizon. Make clear what you need and stick with it. Double check their pricing information too. read more

Pay specific attention: This is not a Verizon store, it's a Verizon Authorized Retailer. That means a lot, because these folks aren't the ones who you have a Verizon account with, they're just some goofs who put up a storefront and pay Verizon for the label. Case in point. I was switching my son's phone over to a Pixel 3 that I bought directly from Google. His old phone had the wrong sized SIM card for the P3, so I dropped by this store to pick up a new one. Strike 1: The guy, I kid you not, pulled out a coffee cup with a bunch of pencils and other desk junk in it. Took all that stuff out and in the bottom of the cup were a bunch of SIM cards, just rattling around in there under the junk and pencil tips. He pulled out four or so because he wasn't sure which one would be the right one for our connection. After about five minutes of guessing he finally got something. Strike 2: I had said I just needed the card, that I could do the activation from my home. They wanted to charge me $30 for the nasty SIM they fished up and to make the activation phone call themselves. I told them that I was a decades-long customer and currently paid over $200 a month for service, and I expected they could wave this cost. They wouldn't. I told them to take that nasty card back and restore the phone to it's original state. Of course they couldn't because they'd already gone too far in the initialization, but that really wasn't an issue for me. I left. Strike 3: I drove 10 minutes up the road to the Verizon store in Westgate (Campbell Ave and Saratoga.) After waiting for 10 minutes for a representative I asked for a new SIM card for the phone. A minute later I was walking out of the store with a Brand-New SIM card still in the packaging. They never mentioned any charge for this. This is the difference between going to a "Verizon Authorized Retailer" and an actual Verizon store. Avoid this store like the plague. read more
