She also told me that it would be worth driving over an hour ( from the east bay) specifically to the Campbell Verizon store to see Brian C. because, "he's the best". My bud wasn't lying b/c the phone plan offer was really good and Brian really is the best! Brian VERY kindly & patiently helped me choose the best plan for me and my family. He tried his best to get me the best deal, customize a plan that works for each person in my family, and did not try to oversell or pressure me into making any decisions. He was super knowledgeable, explained options in detail, and took solid notes to provide me with real numbers. It's worth noting that there were customers were shuffling in and out of the store while I was there but he didn't rush the process and tried his best to attend to other customers as well. 5 star experience!

During the visit, Mike also asked about the screen, which had been replaced a few years ago at a different location (which I won't name). He pointed out that the previous repair used a lower-quality screen rather than a genuine one, which finally explained some issues we'd noticed back then. Mike replaced it with a proper screen, and now the phone feels like new--perfect for my daughter to keep using. Since he did such a great job on my wife's phone, I decided to go ahead and replace the battery on my own iPhone (12 Pro Max) as well, since it was down to 69% maximum capacity. I accidentally spilled coffee on my MacBook keyboard and brought it to Ray right away. The repair…read morewas a bit pricey, but completely understandable given the amount of work involved. He had to remove the keyboard components and thoroughly clean the inside of my laptop. Thankfully, he was able to fix my MacBook. Ray was also incredibly helpful in explaining how to properly back up my data and what steps to take if something like this happens again. He even helped me back up my MacBook to iCloud. If you ever spill liquid on your device, shut it down immediately and bring it to Ray. He saved me from having to buy a new laptop!

My computer crashed the other night right around 5:30 pm so I got on the old interweb and found…read morethat TechCare was open until 6pm. I called them at 5:50pm and spoke with Ray "I think he is the owner" anyway I told him what was going on and he said to come on down and that he would wait for me. When I arrived I noticed that they have a big Yelp banner on the window, I walked in and spoke with Ray about the problem and showed him a picture of what the error was, he was up front with me and explained that if the hard drive was bad that he would not be able to save my data. I told him to do his best to save my data. The next day he texted me with a quote and said that he would be able to fix it and save my data. I told him to fix it. About 3 hours later he texted me again and said to come on by and pick it up. Now when I arrived he didn't just give me my computer and send me on my way, he sat me down and explained that I have 3 different options to save my data just in case the hard drive or computer crashes in the future. He also said that if I'm not sure how to back up the hard drive or need help with anything to call him and he would walk me through it. When all was said and done, he charged me $299 out the door and my machine is working flawlessly!! Thank you Ray! You got a customer for life.
