I lost my phone in Boston while on vacation and after many hours on the phone with customer service, I was told the only way to have my account activated was by going into a Verizon store to have them activate the new esim. STEVE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! He refused to help, complained about how this is not his job, he would be losing sales by helping me, etc. We made two trips to this store and spent hours there with no resolution. I came home to Tustin and went straight to the Verizon store here. They activated my phone in FIVE minutes! Steve and the whole team were of absolutely no help and made my vacation unnecessarily stressful. read more

Da'Quan was incredibly helpful today. I was in a real bind, needing to send some text messages to my email in order to print them out in a very short timeframe. Da'Quan quickly set up my Outlook account and went the extra step of sending these text messages to my account so I was all ready to print. He has no idea how much stress he took off of me today!! he did all this while also helping another customer.... Very knowledgeable and efficient and he even held the door open for me! Here today! I have not been getting 5G coverage since my switch 2 months ago and my photos have been coming out blurry (annoying). I had the time to go into a store and take them up on their offer to upgrade to IPhone 5 Pro on them. Upon walking in there were 3 Team members 2 which was with other customers and Colleen who was pretending to be busy looking at the walls...literally. NOOOOOO one acknowledged my presence, I even stood beside Colleen who was pretending to literally be occupied looking at the walls moving from one section to another. Obviously a polite acknowledgment of my presence was far from their home training/Business Ethics 101 was not apart of their job description so I just kindly took a seat at Chris's table and wait until they were free. I could have been Americas Most Wanted or even a business owner who needed to purchase 10 phones with 10 new lines. Chris finished with his customer, took 5 steps away from me the other guy finished with his customer too....when I asked If I could be assisted. Chris with NO eye contact said 'Two minutes" As I waited Colleen immediately noticed another customer walk in and jumped outta her skin to help them. Chris returned and this his how he as a Verizon representative continued to fail as a respectful individual. 1. He TRIED to sell me the IPhone 15 Pro Max after I specifically stated I wanted the free phone offer, the IPhone 15 Pro was the deal. 2. No personality when dealing with the public on a business level, no "Hi, hello". No, "Thanks for coming in". No, "Have a nice day". 3. Could not and would not explain why my next month bill went from $80 to $130, I had to ask for the bill to figure out HE added the protection plan. 4. He stated my phone had witch craft attached to it because the transfer was taking longer than usual. 5. He sent me to a retailer friend of his in the Mall to buy accessories for my Apple IPhone instead of what Verizon and Apple Authorized Dealer sold. 6. Would not explain unless again asked for in black and white, why a $60 plus tax transaction went to $120! I looked at their reviews and experienced exactly why they had poor reviews. I choose not to get their warranty of $20 a month to going thru Apple and purchasing their insurance plan at $14 a month. Customer Service credited my account $75 due to the store terrible experience and negligence of handling the transferring over of my line. Like having the most towers and best connectivity of any other cell phone company. I'm dying for them to come to my neighborhood so I can use them for my home WiFi. Definitely 5 stars! read more

I went to the store to inquire about upgrading my phones. After I left, I received a text message from Verizon letting me know that Verizon Home Device Protection was added to my account for an additional $25.00 a month. I NEVER AUTHORIZED THAT CHANGE. When I called Verizon to cancel the unauthorized addition, I asked the rep where it was done. She said it was done at a Verizon store. The only store that I visited was the one in Braintree. I can only conclude that it was added, without my permission, while the salesman was reviewing my account. BEWARE!!! read more

I stoped in today to upgrade a broken IPhone 10. As soon as my son and I walked in Jason asked if we needed any help. I told him we wanted to upgrade an iPhone. He got my account info and soon was asking us questions to narrow down what we needed for memory and color. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the phone. He transferred all the information from old phone to the new one. We got a few extras for the phone and he applied the protective covering and case. Gave us a discount and wished us a good day. Excellent service was rendered and thought I should reward his positive attitude with a great recommendation. If I ever have issues or questions about my phone I know where to go. read more

I'll tell you what, I've been a Verizon guy since 2000 when I got my first cellular phone while an employee at Genzyme. 28 years later that beautiful Ericsson has been replaced about five times; I've still the same number. Needless to say, I'm quite happy with Verizon services. Great coverage, as I've never dropped a call. I travel for work, pharmaceuticals, internationally... do getting the International Calling in is breeze for only ten bucks a day. Locations I've used include Natick Mall, Grafton, the old location in Quincy near the police station, and most recently the South Shore Plaza. The mall Verizon, up stairs near the elevator is awesome. Exceptional customer service. Nice people. Clean and fast moving! Five stars; highest recommendation. read more

First, I'm reviewing the physical location and staff of the Verizon store at the South Shore Plaza, not my satisfaction with Verizon as wireless service. They can't control that - they can only control the devices and plans they sell to consumers, not how wireless or data performs. Second, half the time I see really negative reviews ... I wonder to myself, how much is brought on by how people are acting towards associates? I'm not saying that is always the case...and getting poor service for no discernible reason sucks...I've been there. I, however, received GREAT service on my last visit and I walked in all smiles. You get what you give. Darson greeted me when I walked in and I explained to him that I was in a bit of a pickle. Long story short, I needed to transfer my sister's phone number to my current phone and I needed to get another one for myself as her phone was no more. I thought it was going to be a long, confusing transfer ... but Darson was like, "this isn't a pickle! We got this!" We picked out my new phone, checked stock, he alerted me to the ongoing promotions, we discussed at length a few different things. He gave me an exact number of what the whole thing would cost me upfront (showed me on a calculator). There was no hidden agenda, no hidden fees. I asked a lot of questions and if he didn't know, he offered to check and quickly came back with answers. As we were starting to transfer the service of my old phone to my new phone, Darson was regaling me with stories and another associate, Daeshan came over. He was full of life and made me smile instantly. Somehow we got on the subject of baking, I shared with them my blog, and Daeshan was instantly my biggest fan. I loved every second of interacting with these two and when the process was finished (in under an hour, I might add)...I didn't want to leave. These two have a return customer who will ask for them by name going forward. Hopefully they get some kudos as I've Yelped, I've completed the survey and I texted the store to make sure they know how awesome these two were. I'm sorry if others don't get the same treatment I did...a little kindness goes a long way these days and it sure did make for a brilliant interaction at Verizon for me! read more

This would have been 5 stars but Steve is an unhelpful, miserable POS. Kim and a younger gentleman there were so fabulous and helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty to help me and I can not say enough positive about them. It's unfortunate that employees like STEVE can effect a business as negatively as he does. Saying no we can't do this or that without any effort or investigation, while people like Kim and the young gentleman working as well can be so great and do with ease what STEVE refused to even attempt to do. We walked in at 7:00 pm thinking it would be really busy a few days before Christmas, but to our surprise their were double the amount of employees then customers. There were 4-5 employees standing around the counter. A lady with odd colored hair asked for my name and disappeared just like all the rest of the employees. We watched a guy eating and playing on his phone and ignoring us. 10 minutes and nothing. I finally flagged someone down. He said he had an employee on break and nobody else available. Shocked, we walked out. This is my second extremely poor customer service experience here. Will NEVER go back. read more

So 6 months ago went in to purchase a new Samsung galaxy zflip.upon leaving I get in car and drive away to a notification stating just bought another phone I was like hmm.called and was told he the rep had not closed my accounts and the next customer phone went on my account a 1500.00 phone and cover whoooa.i called right away and still had to wait to remove. Yesterday I received my first iPhone ! I have been an Android user for years and was very nervous about transferring my info from my note 10+ to this beautiful new IPhone. Knowing this, after I placed the order for the iPhone on the 17th I scheduled an appointment at the Verizon store in Braintree for today. I'm so glad I did... I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by Michelle who explained that the process of transferring was easy & she was right! 30 minutes after I entered the store all my data from my Android was transferred to my iPhone and Michelle helped me with putting on the dual case as well as applying the screen protector for me...she answered all my questions and was very helpful & patient..will definitely be back when I need to purchase more accessories! read more

Blatantly lied to by rep, Deshon was his name, I think. Misquoted the cost of device. I was told the cost of device was $849 but it was really $1049. I was told " this Apple watch will make your bill go down". I was never given a paper reciept to verify purchase. I had to call customer service to confirm. Guess what? He lied! Fortunately I was able to return it the next day. I was 3 days into my bill cycle, so he probably didn't think I would notice until it was too late. Shady business practices... Beware!!! Will never shop here again. Complained to customer service and they made it right. Otherwise my 10 year tenure with VZW would've been need that day. Update... Customer service was happy enough to to reply to this message. They did make adjustments after 7 phone calls to customer service and over 8 hours total on the phone. Their response was sub par. I still feel after 8 years of being a loyal customer that my business means nothing. Verizon customer service is GARBAGE! read more

We went into Verizon yesterday to switch from AT&T. Maggy greeted us quickly after putting our names on the list. She was so helpful and knowledgable about the product. We upgraded to the iPhone 6 plus (love it). She reviewed plans with us and helped us pick out the right one for our needs and recommended these GREAT glass screen protectors! She was thorough and quick. I'm not sure how long we were really in the store but it seemed like we were in and out. She laughed at our stupid jokes and even made a few of her own! Haha. I felt like that's what customer service should be like- so glad we made the switch- and we will always come back to see Maggy for our Verizon needs! read more

I am currently a Verizon Wireless subscriber who has transitioned from lauding Verizon's network and service, to now counting, down to the minute, the remaining time on my contract. While out of contract, and living in one of the few dead spots that Verizon Wireless has, I attempted to let Verizon Wireless retain my business. It was suggested to me that my service interruptions were a result of having a 3g phone and I needed to upgrade to a 4g phone. Should that upgrade not fix the lack of reception I was experiencing, I could just return the phone and continue to another provider that has proven that they have adequate coverage where I reside. After making the purchase of the phone, not only was I unable to return the phone, but I was also told that in order to get service, where I live, I would have to purchase a network extender, and the best that could be done is $75 off of a $250 piece of equipment that would also eat my bandwidth, only to get the service that I am already paying for!!! This is extremely unacceptable. I am locked into a contract under false pretenses and now they want me to pay more to get the same service, after an "experiment" that was suppose to not cost me any out of pocket expense! You can believe that not only will I not continue my service, I will adamantly deter anyone that I know from becoming another small cog in the large corporate wheel, that will "thank you for being the best part of Verizon" while sodomizing you without the courtesy of lubrication. read more

Awful!!! Wish I could give negative stars for this store and their total lack of corporate integrity. I have been a Verizon customer for years and now I can't wait to leave for a competitor. Went in for a phone upgrade. Mark quoted me a price, told me my monthly bill would only be increasing about $10. I receive an email from Verizon confirming my plan change and it was about $40 more a month! When I asked Mark he told me to "disregard that email that they are often wrong". He said he even verified with the store manager so I believed him. Big mistake! They are liars just trying to make a sale! When my bill came, guess who was right, Verizon and not the lying sales guy. Now it's past my 14 day return policy and I'm stuck. The manager will not return my calls. Everytime I call the store directly, they transfer me to corporate customer care. I've made several 40 minute long calls to corporate customer care who say they are unable to help me, that I need to speak to the store manager. What a run-a-round. read more

Wish i could score it lower. IT has been 3 months now that i have been fighting with customer service because of the FALSE information the rep a this location gave me about opening a business account. They told me that i should just open the personal account and then transfer it to a business account later because he couldn't figure out how to get it to work. Well when I tried, they told me i would have to pay off MY ENTIRE PHONE in order to do so. After calling corporate number, they offered to bring me down to the store to rectify the situation. They made me wait almost an hour an told me that they were not going to help me, and I was to continue paying two SEPARATE phone lines for the duration it will take me to pay off the bill. Let us not forget that i only came in there to see if i could get a better deal than my ATT lines. They went from saving me $40 a month to charging me an extra $40 a month! Every time I call the customer service line, they say they are going to take care of it AND NEVER CALL ME BACK! 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE! It has now been 2 months, and I think they are just waiting for me to give up. They COMPLETELY SCREWED ME and I am leaving this company ASAP! I cannot believe what awful customer service I have gotten! I even strongly dislike YELP, because I feel people only come here to complain. But I also unfortunately feel that these kind of companies won't care about me unless I make a stink on their reputation. So here I am. I will be happy to take this review down once this problem actually gets solved. No broken promises this time. I have never had my anxiety flair up more than the day I opened an account with verizon. This is the worst Verizon wireless I have ever been to. The "customer service reps" are rude and unhelpful. They are more interested in standing around socializing and playing on their own phones than they are in helping customers. I have been a Verizon wireless customer for over 16 years and instead of trying to keep my loyalty they literally told me that I could leave for $480.
