When I brought it home it did not work so I drove back to return it! When I did.....the Cashier said that the Greeter that initially who gave me the right Wire Connection noticed I bought the wrong one and tried to catch me outside But I already left and so the Cashier had the Correct one for me and she tested it on my item I brought in and IT WORKED! The Moral of the Story..... BEST BUY EMPLOYEES KNOWS BEST!!!!! The two boxes were very similar and the photos the same on the Box and yet there was a slight difference which I did not notice! This in spite of the fact that they have an employee standing right in front of them at all times. Forget trying to go to a manned checkout! Only one was opened when I went during a busy part of the day. I guess management didn't want to miss the opportunity to punish their customers for their failings. Had a terrible experience with the employee supervising the self checkout. Was both extremely rude and unhelpful. I asked if I could speak to a manager and she said would not call for one, I would have to go find one myself. I asked another employee to see about calling a manager and she told them not to do it. I explained to a supervisor up front what had happened and he explained (although he probably shouldn't have) that they had many complaints about this employee! I did get a call back from an assistant manager later that evening who apologized and said that the employee had been reassigned and would not be interacting with customers. Again, why did this take multiple complaints? This store is in desperate need of new senior management. Until they can decide that helping their customers and creating a positive environment is important, DO NOT GO HERE!!! Take the trip to the Weymouth BJs where they actually seem to care.

I…read morewas puzzled by the Yelp reviews; lots of 4-5 star reviews and almost as many 1 star reviews. More on that at the end of this review. I think they are spectacular. As you will see reading through these reviews it's a family business - checkout the team on their website and you will see mom and dad and the (adult) kids. I like that and I think it makes a difference in how they run the business and deal with their customers. I was also impressed by the fact that their service policies were exactly the same as what was set out in a 6 year old Yelp review: have them come to your house and pay $75 of which $35 can be applied to any repair, or take the television to their shop and pay $50 all of which can be applied to a repair. (In either case if you don't get the tv repaired the full fee is a non-refundable service/diagnosis charge). I don't think you can find any appliance repair shop that only charges $75 for an in-home service call, and it is just an example of SCS's desire to treat people as fairly as possible. There aren't that many things that go wrong with newer televisions - most problems are likely the main system board or the power board - both of which can be pricey parts. So quite simply if you are out of warranty you should consider whether it's worth repairing a television or just buying a new one. In the case of my 65" Sony XBR I was quoted a $175 labor charge and $245 in parts. Pricey but this was a high end television that still has a market value of $1,400 even though it's several years old. Moreover while I could have found used parts for less online and even tried to do the repair myself I thought the quote was fair. Turned out to be a wise decision since Matt did have some complications and spent a good amount of time working on my television. Let's talk about those 1 star reviews. I am at a loss as to how people can do that to a small business - particularly without giving the business an opportunity to correct things (if they truly had an awful experience). I hate to call out specific people but come on - there's the woman who was already in contact with LG's president of service (that should have been a red flag), was agitated the service tech arrived early while she was sleeping at 12 noon, insisted she was not yelling at him but is an opera star, etc. I guess I give that review 1 star for accuracy just from reading it - it's just not credible. Take a look at the other 1 star reviews closely too and ask yourself whether this is a person you want to take advice from. Obviously you know what decision I reached.

He is extremely meticulous and such a perfectionist to the extent I thanked him for it numerous times. He set things up exactly as I wanted them despite it being tougher than setting it up a different way. I told him if it was much tougher to mount the center speaker horizontally he could mount it vertically but he went ahead doing it exactly the way I wanted without a second thought. He first setup my tv to the receiver with a toslink. After I asked him how I would get Atmos capability he offered to come back to install it with HDMI. At the time I was at work but he was about to head right over. I fiddled on it that evening and I mentioned that a phone call would probably suffice to walk me through it, but I was able to figure it out on my own. He called me the very next day to walk me through it. I am extremely happy with the job he has done. He stamps his work with excellence, so if you want a great setup for a great price don't bother looking elsewhere.
