I brought my phone in to have the back glass replaced, and when I picked it up everything initially seemed fine. However, within about two hours a white line suddenly appeared on my screen that would not go away, and I also noticed that the screen itself had started lifting. I returned to the shop less than 24 hours later to explain the issue and ask them to take a look at it. Instead of helping, they refused to provide any service or even inspect the phone. They also made accusations that I was just trying to get a free repair, which was extremely frustrating and unprofessional considering the problem started almost immediately after their repair. Because they refused to cooperate or take responsibility, I had to escalate the situation by contacting mall management and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Overall, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience. I would strongly caution others before choosing this repair shop, as my concerns were dismissed and no effort was made to resolve the issue.

I'm old school, you find a place to fix what's broken, you drop the item off, you get a call when done, you pick it up and pay. Techie Town might use some business software to manage the business, to get my repair done, I received 32 emails from Techie Town and about 9 text messages, also 13 emails from yelp. My family and I contacted Thornton Electronics to repair a refrigerator for my elderly parents (70+). Ryan responded and scheduled a consultation. Upon inspection, he stated that the fridge was not getting cold because the control board was not working and that replacing it would resolve the issue. Ryan provided no timeline for when the part would arrive or be replaced. After three weeks of waiting and several follow-up phone calls, Ryan returned and installed the control board. After paying a hefty sum of over $300 for the consultation, a used part, and labor, Ryan said the refrigerator would take 24 hours to get cold again. When the refrigerator did not get cold after 24 hours, we contacted Ryan again, who stated there must be a problem with the compressor. He told us he would order a new compressor and come install it for an additional $400. We hesitated on spending the additional money, but Ryan assured us that this would fix the problem. Ryan arrived onsite, replaced the compressor for the additional $400, and said the refrigerator would work in 24 hours. Once again, 24 hours passed, and the refrigerator did not work. After spending $700 on repairs--half the cost of a new refrigerator--we still did not have a working appliance. Ryan assured us he would file an insurance claim, and that they would cover the cost of a replacement refrigerator because he was unable to fix it. After several weeks of contacting Ryan and his insurance company, we found out that his insurance would not cover any of the repair, labor, or replacement costs. We asked Ryan to return or take the parts back for a refund and keep the cost of labor, but he refused. Ryan took complete advantage of elderly people who live on a fixed income. He took over $700 for a repair he could not complete and made no effort to correct the situation. UNPROFESSIONAL, INEXPERIENCED, and FRAUDULENT are the words I would use to describe Thornton Electronics LLC. Consumers, beware!

I purchased a connection wire but asked the front Greeter to help and she did.... I had what she chose in my hand and I still looked more and I noticed the one she gave me was 6 feet long and I noticed one for 5 feet long and I chose the shorter the box looked the same so I purchased it! When I brought it home it did not work so I drove back to return it! When I did.....the Cashier said that the Greeter that initially who gave me the right Wire Connection noticed I bought the wrong one and tried to catch me outside But I already left and so the Cashier had the Correct one for me and she tested it on my item I brought in and IT WORKED! The Moral of the Story..... BEST BUY EMPLOYEES KNOWS BEST!!!!! The two boxes were very similar and the photos the same on the Box and yet there was a slight difference which I did not notice! I spoke with multiple employees at the store trying to get a simple answer and no one gave a shit. I honestly think it's racism, which is really sad, because the employees were almost all black and brown, and I'm brown. Maybe because I look middle eastern was why they did this: but it's an experience so bad that I won't forget it. Half a fucking hour. To his credit the original guy I spoke with eventually helped me - but it was half a fucking hour. Have some fucking pride in your work, don't be a piece of shit, don't treat one customer like they're garbage and the next like they're royalty. I'm also a business owner and yeah I'm sorry but your business is run like total shit in this location, guys. If the message was "Fuck you, we don't want to help you," have the fucking balls to say it to me, don't waste all of our time on it. This was in January btw. Fuck yourselves.
