I changed over from IPhone to Android. And most of my contacts didn't transfer. And some texts came in on one phone and some on other. Talked to several people no one could figure it out. Dealt with this nightmare for months. Until I went to TMobile yesterday at Southshore Mall. Jimmy was extremely thourough and patient and went through everything to fix this problem! Is there a 0 option on this?? They are absolutely horrible. There are some nice employees there, don't get me wrong. But my mom went in to trade in her phone (she already paid off her older one) and to buy a new one for my dad. We were trying to switch accounts from me to her because the account was under my name and I may be moving out, so we agreed to try to switch. Instead, this T-Mobile switched my release of responsibility to her and I remain the account holder. This caused a LOT of issues, as we got a bill for over $800. They decided that they would take money out of my mom's account with NO PRIOR AUTHORIZATION! Instead of refunding the whole amount, they used it as a credit to her account, which she didn't request. I wasted four days going into the store within two months, as well as multiple phone conversations that apparently went nowhere. T-Mobile does NOT care about their customers, their time, their money, or their energy. I would highly NOT recommend them to anyone!!! read more

I came here to get a different sim for my new phone, it's that simple, but the guy name Alaine gave me an attitude, asking why I need a new sim and want to see my new phone. He acted as if I bother him the whole time I was there. He had me wait a bit long without saying anything, so I asked him what's going, then he finally said the system is down, had I not asking, he must had me wait there forever. I felt like I wasn't welcomed there and not feeling comfortable so I just got up and leave to a different location which has great customer service. read more

My family and I have been long time customers of T-Mobile (think 7+ years). That being said, the experience that I received at this particular location was so bad that it made my family and I consider switching carriers. Today, my dad and I walked in to ask about the BOGO Samsung promotion that was going on. I heard that it was a 1 day only offer and that we had to sign up for monthly payments and open a new line. No problem. I asked a man working there if this was the case and he said "yes". The rep then told us there would be a 45 minute wait. No big deal, so we walked around the store looking at the phones. We watched as others were called and after 40 minutes it was going to be our turn next. The rep came and took a lady who left the store and came back. He showed us the list- She was at least 3-4 names ahead and missed her time slot... being gone for a long time. He told us that she had an appointment and missed her turn so he would let her go first. That's nice of him to do that for her, but definitely unfair to us as we had been waiting for our turn. At this point my dad was growing frustrated with the service but I still had hope that the service would improve once it was our turn. When we were called not too long afterwards, we were helped by Alain. I use the term "helped" in a very loose way because he looked like he did not want to help us (or work there as a matter of fact lolol). I have had good experiences at this store before but I did remember Alain from a previous bad experience at this store around 10 months ago. I was with my mother at the time and he looked like he didn't want to deal with the language barrier or the questions she asked him so we left (we later bought a Note 5 from another sales rep later that year at the same location). Anyways, back to what happened today. When we were seen by Alain he told us that the offer would not go through if we did not switch from another carrier. We were frustrated about the catch but overall his way of explaining it to us made the experience turn from "bad" to "can we just switch carriers please". He just stared at us while we tried to ask about other promotions and eventually my dad left the store out of frustration. He knows it is a business and there will be "catches" but I don't think he expected the poor customer service that came with the long wait time. So, sorry T-Mobile Braintree. It's been a good run. We probably won't switch carriers but we'll be visiting another location. For better customer service, there is a Brockton location that my dad and I went to a few years ago to get the Xperia Z3 and they spent a really good amount of time helping us and making sure all of our data was transferred into the new phone. read more

Do not go to this store! I recently bought an iphone here and the sales person who "helped" me was terrible. He was rude, patronizing and told me that he could not help me set up my new iphone because of the virus situation. Later when I called Tmobile (the main office) they told me that he was lying and that was not their store policy. Horrible customer service, horrible experience and when you are paying that much money for a phone, they should be kissing your feet and doing whatever you tell them to. One of the slowest stores they have. Not only are they inefficient, if you nag them enough they will pick and choose who they will help regardless of the 'line'. Also it's ever so wonderful to watch customers of all walks of life and their stupid questions that must be answered areas 10 times, before they are satisfied. So I went there yesterday in order to get the iPhone 6plus as a gift to my girlfriend. Also, as a newcomer with a recently received permanent resident card, credit card (which is usually difficult to get in the beginning) and SSN, I knew that it won't be easy to get a phone with a contract for 0 down, how they advertise phones with their data plans. But, what I experienced yesterday is honestly - sad. I offered $200 in advance from credit card (because I am building up credit score), and the rest to go automated from my checking account together with the data plan. Do you know what was the response? $650 + $400 deposit!? + data plan!? Ridicules! Thank you Tmobile for that! I wasn't thinking to spend full amount for that phone, but you help me out with my decision and I will go straight to the Apple instead of making an arrangement with you. I have been going to this store at the South Shore plaza for years. Always great service. I popped in tonight to check on my phone, i was at the mall for a few things and figured I would just try and get my phone fixed or at least start the process. Alain, while on hold on the phone, used that time to help me out and within minutes my phone was fixed. Great service and it was busy! read more

Horrible Customer Service. If you are not buying anything that day they show no respect to customers and make them jump through hoops before they make any attempt to help them. Being a AT&T customer for 15 years I was comparing prices and went with t mobile. I saw the 2 lines 100$ unlimited plan and was interested immediately. Shout out to Pedro at the south shore plaza for answering every single question I had and making me feel confident in my decision to switch. He got everything set up for me and checked everything before to reassure me it was all good. A few hours later the data was not working so u called and although it was simple (just had to put the phone on airplane mode for 30 seconds) he took the time to call me back and help me through everything. Not sure why everyone hates this place. I was a long time Verizon customer but I hated how much I was paying. I came in with my wife to ask a few questions about their newest deal at the time, T-Mobile's One Unlimited plan with free Netflix. Daniel answered all our questions, didn't pressure us into switching right away or try to get us to get new phones. He gave us his contact info for when we decided to switch later. A few days later I contacted him and switched over my wife, her family and myself. Earlier today we added my dad and also got a free line. Daniel again went above and beyond. Answered our question if we would lose the Kickback, he went and researched and came back with the answer we were looking for. We're definitely happy with our phone reception and data package. got a swap out on a battery problem... The guy working on it lost stuff an the new login features would not work... so bad I could not get into the phone. So I went back and spoke to the boss and asked that the prior guy not be put on the phone. Guess who ends up working on the phone. Even after I explicitly said it in front of the boss and the problem person... My opinion. Some are good and some are bad... My opinion... Russian Roulette I was told I could use the phone just not the new login patterns etc. as opposed to the straight password. I was not happy. My parents came here for a phone upgrade. A different line than the intended line got the upgrade. In the process, the staff also disabled a line currently in use. I resolved the issue online, but the unlock is expected to take up to 24 hours. Be sure to double-check before leaving the store. read more

Horrible customer service. One of the sales associates by the name of Marquis or something along those lines "assisted" me. During our conversation he was actually texting on his phone. At point he tells me "if you were listening to what I was saying you'd know what I mean".. Who the heck says that a paying customer? This isn't the hood- I'm a customer who is inquiring about a new phone. In addition he was not confident & kept asking other colleagues for assistance. I walked right out & stopped by the T-Mobile Kiosk & was greeted by super friendly, eager to help employees. Went to this T-Mobile looking to "jump" my iPhone to the latest version. The phone was in near perfect condition aside from a minor minor minor scratch (I'm talking less than a cm long) on the bottom of the phone. They cracked my screen protector while ripping it off to examine the eligibility of the phone, only to then tell me they couldn't "jump" my phone because of this small scratch. They told me I could fix it for 400$ and then trade my phone in for a new one (why would I do that?). I felt extremely scammed considering this "scratch" was barely a scratch at all. Took the phone to another T-Mobile location the same night who assessed the phone and found it to be in perfect condition, allowing me to jump to the next phone. Have not been back to the Braintree location since this attempted bs and I won't ever be going back to this location in the future. read more

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. What's with the awful attitude in this TMobile store?! I came in with my parents in hopes to upgrade my dad's old Samsung phone to an iPhone. A worker named Alain 'helped' us and throughout the entire time he gave us a condescending attitude for not understanding T-mobile's JUMP policy and when we had questions, he looked at us as if we're fools. Good thing we ended up not following through purchasing an iPhone from TMobile because Alain rudely informed us that we wouldn't be able to use the phone internationally when we asked him. He was very knowledgable and friendly throughout the whole process. I was done getting my new phone purchased and it was ready to go in no time. Not interested at all in helping to solve any problem you may be having. They are only interested in getting you to buy a new phone. That's it. If you say you just bought your phone last year that means nothing to them. If you are not there to buy a new phone expect annoyed and hurried "service." I'm a current T-Mobile customer having switched from my then-service provider less than a year ago, and bought the latest Moto (unlocked) to make the change with. The phone has never been what it was presented to me as being, and I'd have returned it if I'd known within the 2 week period, but it's not a T-Mobile phone nor was it a T-Mobile store so this review isn't about that. I called T-Mobile (online) asking questions about buying a specific phone when you're already a customer. The prices reflect when someone first signs up so the charges reflect a sim card, first month service, and so forth. They cant remove those charges so their way around it is to credit it to your account, which I didn't want to do. I figured I'd just go into one of their stores and get a new phone like you can with other service providers. No, that's not the case. First, T-Mobile stores do NOT honor online pricing at all under any circumstance. The phone in-store without the sim card, first month service is $30+ more than what you'd pay for online. I thought for sure I must have heard something wrong, or that perhaps the representative I spoke with may not have understood me or perhaps didn't have his facts straight....so I called the store this morning that I went to asking to speak with the manager telling him about the visit to his store, and asked if what I'd been told was correct. He confirmed that was, but what shocked me was his response when I told him I was surprised. He literally said, "We don't sell phones to people who aren't customers." I said, "What??" He said, " We won't sell a phone to someone who isn't already a customer." read more
