However, visiting your local cell phone store can either be a nightmare from hades or the best experience ever. For myself, it was the latter of the two. Megan, and the staff at this store were absolutely amazing. Megan, came out and asked how she could help me, and I explained that I wanted to upgrade to the new iPhone 15. She was able to pull up my old account information, and she even gave me the best unlimited plan that Verizon current has. Now I can visit neighboring Canada to visit family members and not worry about roaming charges. Likewise, I can now also send text messages to friends in Mexico City and Toronto without any fees. That being said, the staff at this store made my changeover absolutely effortless, transferred all of my data and contacts to the new phone in 20 minutes. The part I liked the best is how Megan, and the guy who set-up my new phone, took their time and explained to me all the ins and outs of my new plan. This was great customer service all the way. I highly recommend this corporate store over any local dealers.

I called back and told the salesman this and he said don't worry about it. It's a billing mistake. Luckily I called Verizon and after 3 hours on the phone with them they help me file a complaint, and said that the store is known for doing this. Verizon told me to go back to the store and get a refund. I went to the store and was told that they couldn't return the phone even though it had never been opened or touched. Then after 15 minutes of debate, they decided to take the phone back and charge me a $50 restocking fee. Buyer beware, these 2 guys are not interested in helping the customers. Mike Horning, my verizon representative was very friendly and helpful. I preordered an iPhone 6, and missed not one, but two pick up meetings (my fault, not theirs). When I was held up at work and missed the second meeting by over an hour, Mike drove all the way back to the store to make sure I got my phone that day and was professional and friendly the entire time. He was very knowledgable about every option, offering advice, but never pushing me to purchase things I was not interested in. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this verizon store and Mike Horning for future purchases.

He never asked if my boyfriend's phone was backed up to iCloud or if a phone-to-phone transfer was needed. My boyfriend hadn't used iCloud since 2020, but Corey didn't bother to check. Instead, Corey transferred everything from the outdated iCloud backup--missing years of data--and then, without even confirming that the new phone had everything, completely wiped the old phone. As a result, my boyfriend lost five years of photos and memories along with all his other important content. When my boyfriend understandably became upset, Corey's only "solution" was to give him a free phone case. Later, my boyfriend went back to speak with the store manager, James. James was rude, unapologetic, and offered no kind of compensation--no discount on the phone, no bill adjustment, nothing. My boyfriend posted a review, and the store replied that they would reach out to help. They never did. We also took the phone to the Apple Store to see if anything could be recovered. Apple couldn't help and even mentioned this kind of mistake happens often at carrier stores.

They helped me every single day to resolve a complicated phone transfer from Xfinity, and their patience, knowledge, and dedication truly stood out. Even when my phone wasn't working and they couldn't reach me, James went above and beyond--driving to the nearby hotel where I was staying to leave a message at the front desk so I could return to the store. That level of care is rare. Each time I came in, they made me feel welcomed and supported, never rushed or dismissed. They worked a couple hours a day from Monday through Thursday to troubleshoot and coordinate with customer service, and I'm so grateful for their persistence and professionalism. They said they cannot do that because they have to wait for the iphone-10XR to come in before they could do that and that would take a few days. By then however, the promotion that Verizon has will expire and switching from T-Mobil to Verizon would be pointless. They were arguing with me that that was a correct policy which did not make sense. As a customer, you should be able to choose the phone you want anytime provided that the order is not complete.
