They did not tell me how to operate the phone. i went on you tube to find out how to turn it off. i asked about screen protectors told they were 60.00 a piece . i was then told to go to best buy? My pass word that was set up doesn't work . read more

They do not tell you the whole story. In the process of switching from T-Mobil to Verizon, I chose the the iphone 10 XR. However it was out of stock and I had to wait for it to be shipped to their store. Only to find out from the reviews that it was not so good. I went in the next day and indicated that I want the iphone 11 instead. They said they cannot do that because they have to wait for the iphone-10XR to come in before they could do that and that would take a few days. By then however, the promotion that Verizon has will expire and switching from T-Mobil to Verizon would be pointless. They were arguing with me that that was a correct policy which did not make sense. As a customer, you should be able to choose the phone you want anytime provided that the order is not complete. I would not recommend going to that store. read more

3 teenagers running the place, smells like their smoking weed all day in the place. Told me 4 days in a row they were getting an iPhone in for me from another of there stores. On the 4th day they said they would order it and it would be in 3 days later. Typical low grade no service cell phone store, one of their cousins probably owns the place. If you value your time & not being run around by a gang of stoned teens do yourself a favor & go to a real Verizon corporate outlet not this low grade fake knock off. The one in Troy & in Royal Oak have everything in stock & know what they are doing. Today there was a lady losing her mind yelling at the stoned teenagers running three place & sounded liked they lost her data on her phone she was switching from and lost her phone number when they closed her old account without "porting" the number over to new phone. The deal for Samsung - Galaxy J3 for $ 201.00 and the Galaxy J3 is free at bestbuy. This not a Verizon wireless store. They rip you off. After taking back still save this deal cost $ 450.00 vs Verizon wireless store $168.00. The Tablet is free did not need Cost $ 250.00 for a free Tab. $10.00 for Line access fee * 24 is $ 240.00 . My Wife was scam and after all this deal it cost $ 105.00 to walk in the door and out . read more

My husband and I went in here and received just want I couldn't get down the street at the ford rd (between lily and Haggerty) location. This store was nicer and more efficiently run. We were in and out in a matter of minutes and the salesman was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this to a family member or friend. After being frustrated with arguing with a rep down the street at another store because he thought he knew everything, the salesman in this store was a breath of fresh air. Stop in here if you are a Verizon customer and ever need anything. The store was very well organized, presentable, and the staff was very warm and welcoming. They didn't pressure me or make me feel obligated to buy anything. They were just willing to help. read more

Horrible customer service! Female rep 'D' is a smooth talker who added a screen protector when it wasn't even wanted and charged $30.00 extra on bill for it. When she was told it wasn't wanted to begin with and we wanted it removed she said it was too late. When asked a breakdown of the bill she said it would be $11.00 more each month for the phone. When we received the bill it was actually for a protection plan she just added on her own without asking. When confronted she wouldn't admit to doing anything wrong. Don't go to this Verizon store there's forthright, honest ones out there but not this one! read more

This business is dishonest. Lied about availability of products and prices were WAY out of line with corporate Verizon prices. They said they have identical product pricing when available and then lied about the product not being available in order to hold to their more than 3x higher price. They also added services to my account that I did NOT request, consent to or even know had been added. They charged a crazy high restocking fee ($140) when I returned the devices they scammed me on. Went in to get a new phone. After chatting with the salesperson about a phone, I mentioned doing something for my kids also so he introduced me to the gizmo gadget watches. Loved them! Bought a ton including 2 watches, new phone, screen protector, case and charger to the tune of $530 out of pocket. Fast forward to a few hours later... I was made aware that verizonwireless online was selling the identical watches for $50 each that I had just paid $170 EACH for. I called the salesperson and asked him about the difference in price. He said he would look into it and his manager called me back stating that they could not match the price because the watches were discontinued and no longer available for purchase. NOT TRUE. He went as far as telling me that he used his own personal account and tried to put them in his shopping cart to order them and they were coming up as unavailable. I dialed 611 and talk to customer service and they told me that the watches are readily available and NOT Discontinued and he made a conference call to the manager of the location regarding the price difference. The manager told Verizon corporate that he would honor the price if I came back into the store. When I went back to the location, they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and said they never spoke with anybody. I was on the conference call. There is much more to this story But the end result was because they blatantly lied to me more than once, completely ripped me off and were extremely rude and Disrespectful when I went back in not once but twice, I ate the $140 restocking fee and returned everything I bought from there. To top it off, they added premium device insurance to my account without my knowledge! read more

Bad sales experience, bumped around for almost 2 weeks getting upgraded phones, but that's another post. Upgraded 10S dies 2 days after finally getting phone. Go back to this store, they can't turn it on either and they direct me to Apple. I go to Apple, they can "replace" with a service phone or they recommend going back to Cellular and More for a return under buyers remorse policy, and then get a new phone. Back to Cellular and More, they try to restart the phone, can't, and then inform me I can't return a defect phone. WHAT? They sold me a defective phone, which they acknowledge as defective. They say go back to Apple, since they only sell phones, not fix or replace. What retailer doesn't take back defective merchandise? Cars don't go back to the assembly plant for replacement, they go back to the dealer. Clothes, TVs, appliances, even food is replaced by the retailer. But not at this store! Or is it Cellular and More? Either way, bad policy to not replace defective product. Oh, and don't say "screwed" or "Jesus Christ" when complaining about service. The assistant manager is thin skinned. This is a franchise, and not Verizon. Better off at the actual Verizon location in Canton. read more

Each time that I go to this location, I am impressed with the staff. The customer service I get from Greg D. is always stellar. Today, thank you Amber for your help with my iPad Air and my iPhone. You helped a middle-aged lady understand my devices without talking down to me or talking over my head and I appreciated it. This is what keeps me coming back to this store. read more

Buyers beware. My ex husband went into the store and though I am the sole account holder, a salesman changed my pin number on my account since my ex husband didn't know it in order to access my account without my knowledge or consent. How I figured it out is i happened to go on line to look at my account and couldn't get in. I had been locked out. When I went to the store and found out who did this (VERIZON customer service 800 number said I was the only one who should have access), The guy at Cellular and More looked up the transaction on line and was stumbling over his words and skirting around my direct question which was which employee did this. He finally admitted it was him and made a number of excuses as well as made no apology. At one point, he said that he didn't know what other co-workers policy was, but if someone comes in saying they need access to another account holder's account, he calls them to get permission. I outright told him he never called me. As I told him how unacceptable this was, that it was a violation of my privacy, and how dare he go in and change my pin number to access my account to the point that I couldn't access it on line, he never apoligized. NO managers were available. Admittedly, I was angry and escalated. When i commented that staff must be desperate for business, another co-worker warned me to calm down or else. I got the manager's name. Now, all of the employees in there (all 3 with no customers) knew how angry I was and I told them I was very angry. The employee that warned me told me to have a good day as I was leaving and as far as I am concerned, he was being facetious. This isn't the first time I have had an issue at this store and I will never do business again with them. I have had very good experiences at the Verizon corporate store up the road on Ford in Canton near IkEA. Go there!! read more

My phone died and I was in the area for the weekend so stopped in for help. Not helpful at all! Saw I was eligible for an upgrade and told me my phone couldn't be helped and I just needed a new one. Lied about me needing to change my service plan to get me to sign up for something different, and lied about other services. Should have known something was up when one guy is trying to trick me into buying stuff while two other guys are at the other desk talking about their numbers and being the top salesmen that week. Don't care about the customers at all, typical salesmen that lie and cheat to make more money for themselves! Have been with Verizon for years and never treated this way. Our usual experience is with Verizon at Best Buy and they are employees who are actually helpful, not salesmen. I still will use Verizon, but I'm glad this is not my local store, don't waste your time or money at this place! read more
