Good luck getting that teacher discount, or ANY of the discounts they promised you. You can call a dozen times and go to every Verizon store in two cities- you won't get any help....Have Fun!!

Is there any way to give a company negative stars? I was with verizon for 30 years (yes, really, I…read morehad a phone mounted in my car in 1989). I would get all these offers from other companies, but Verizon would come close to the offer, so I would stay with them. I went into the Verizon store and, they said they were sorry, but they could not match Sprints offer. so I switched. I notified Verizon in September that I had switched services. I should have had a credit for the part of September that I had already paid for. Then I was charged the entire fee in October (I had autopay, so they took it out of my checking account), so I called them. They said I would get a refund. Then I receive another bill for November for another $80. When I called they said I owed them another cycle and Zavier (Verizon representative) listed about 10 different fees that I owed. I cannot believe this! How can they bill me for stopping service? I haven't had services with them for over 6 weeks, but fees keep racking up? In essence, they say I owe $164 for fees/charges AFTER I canceled services. I was no longer on contract and owned my phone. This is insane. Now I wish I had left them years ago.... Be careful! Get everything in writing.
