Chris provided outstanding customer service throughout my Verizon visit. He was extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I understood all of my options without ever making me feel rushed. His professionalism, patience, and friendly attitude made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. It's rare to find someone who combines expertise with such excellent customer care. Chris is truly an asset to Verizon, and I greatly appreciate the exceptional service he provided. read more

Best service! I came in with an IPhone problem and Chucky was so quick to repair an accessibility issue I had with hearing aids. While there I enquired about the Verizon wireless network and found it to be an addition we could use. Chucky to care of our needs and was easy to work with. Quality customer service for sure! Thanks Chucky! read more

My husband and I had an excellent experience yesterday with Riley, the store manager, and Chris. They were very knowledgeable, helpful and personable. read more

I do not recommend this Verizon store. My account was completely mishandled during my visit, and I have now spent hours on the phone and in online chats trying to fix the mistakes made in‑store. The employees added several features to my account that they claimed were free, but they were not. These unauthorized add‑ons caused my bill to jump from about $150 to nearly $400. I was also told there was an in‑store promotion for a free iPhone with a new line, but instead I was signed up to finance a $1,200 device without my knowledge. After discovering all of this, I had to contact Verizon directly to start removing the charges, and I am still waiting for the proper adjustments. At this point, I'm still dealing with Verizon to correct all the issues caused by this store. Based on my experience, I would not trust this location with any purchase. The information I was given was misleading, and the extra charges felt like intentional upselling of services that were not part of any real promotion. DO NOT RECOMMEND this store -- I would switch carriers entirely if I didn't rely on Verizon's internet service. PS was in the store for over 2 hours and when we went back the next day to clear this up Christopher and others in the store said they couldnt recall our purchase or account - Then i spent many times on the phone with verizon read more

I've worked with Chris a few times at this store. He is amazing to work with very thorough, patient and very professional.

Was very pleased with my recent visit to Verizon the other day to get new phones and a family plan. Alessio was very patient and understanding, and helped me land on the plan that best fit my family's needs. Highly recommend! read more

Buyer beware!!! Do not buy anything here-go the a corporate store in Santee or at Grossmont Center!!! This location is predatory. It is an authorized dealer-meaning they can sell you stuff but can't fix mistakes made. The associate Chris, answered our questions, but I didn't appreciate the attitude of the other young man who provided terrible customer service telling us we should've came to fix our problem a year ago-when we did go into a Verizon store a year ago to fix the problem and they said we had to go back to the store in California, they couldn't fix it in Wyoming. Had we known we wouldn't have bought anything!!! read more

Got a new phone for my wife. It took about 45 minutes. The guy in the store was quite knowledgeable and friendly. I believe his name was Alessio. Thanks guys! read more

When I recently had a problem with my cell phone it turned out that stopping here was the best thing I did! Hanan and her manager were understanding, polite, patient and in no time fixed my equipment problem. Don't hesitate to stop at the Alpine location if you need Verizon service. read more

Verizon Terrible customer service. Office sends me to a phone number, 611, sends me back to the store office. Back and forth.

I bought a new iPhone from this store my old one had a button on the bottom of the screen but this new one doesn't. When I try to close Pandora music app I have had problems. I just took it back to the store to ask for help. I was wearing a face mask but was told to stand several feet back from the counter in not a nice way. Due to declining eyesight I was unable to see what she was trying to show me so I'm still not unsuccessful in closing the app. read more

I have interacted with hundreds of Verizon representatives over the course of my years with Verizon. Never have I met anyone so knowledgeable, helpful, and clear before working with Gary at the Alpine store. I hope he stays forever so I can exclusively deal with him! I had issues with my SIM card went to A Verizon store that stated they couldn't help me in Santee that I needed to call customer service. Called customer service they advised I had to go into a store. Finally I landed in Alpine and Chris K was so patient and helpful contacted customer service for me while in the store and within minutes were able to get my phone up and running! Chris K went above and beyond to help me out with my phone and was very knowledgeable. So appreciate for employees like him! Thank you! read more

Hit and miss with this store. Latest attempt to get service was awful. Barked at like a little kid to stand behind the line. Didn't seem interested to help me. So disappointed. Whatever happened to customer service! Been there months before and had great service. Maybe the sales person was having a bad day. Will try again. read more

My fiancé and I came into this location to get new phones and transfer me over to his plan. This was the easiest and most pleasant interaction I've ever had in a Verizon store! Devinne was so helpful and sweet! My fiancé is never thrilled when we have to go do something like this so I was so happy when he walked out smiling complimenting how fast and easy that trip was! Highly recommend this location if in the Alpine area! Also ask for Devinne! You won't be disappointed! read more

""I had the misfortune to go to this store 2 times. The first time I went was to ask a simple question about a sim card and purchase one. Upon entering the store the girl behind the counter playing on her phone ignored me as I approached her desk and then she yelled gruffly, "stand at the first line, don't come any closer, what do you need"? I ask if I could get a sim card and she stated that they were twenty dollars which I replied that I would take one, and she quickly answered, "We don't have any, How do you mess up a sim card"? Her whole conversation was like she was really mad that I was there and kept her from her gaming. She told me to go to a factory store about 30 miles away, and dismissed me. As I left I told myself she was not having a good day. The 2nd time I go was only 2 days later to purchase a new phone. When I walked in the store the same girl was at the counter, but she was helping a customer who was standing at the first line. I know the procedure now, so I stopped at the line behind the present customer and waited my turn. After a short time the lady in front of me exits the store and I move up to the first line, only to get yelled at for not waiting until she called me to move forward. At this time I told her that I didn't appreciate her tone of voice and she was very rude in her actions and tone. Her reply to me was, "I don't have to wait on you and leave the store because I had a bad attitude." My reply back just got her more mad and she screamed, "I don't have to listen to you, " Get out now." I never raised my voice toward her on either occasion. I know that this store is not a company store. I feel sorry for the owner because this person does not care about his business or customers at all. I drove down the hill and purchased a $600 phone and accessories, a sale he could have had. read more

I was at a loss after on the phone with Apple support for an hour 1/2 yesterday after my husband forgot his iPhone password . I was out $900 when I bought a iPhone that should have cost me $200. I got a call that my phone was in but went to the store but no one knew where the phone was. It was supposed to have been delivered several days before. I went home with no phone. After a lot of moving things around, I did get my $700 back and I eventually got my iPhone. So, things eventually worked out but a little too much panic city for me. I guess you could say the emplloyees were helpful but a $900 charege to your credit card would keep you awake at night also. read more

I've been in this store twice. Won't bother again. The first time I was trying to buy replacement battery for my blackberry (which I purchased at a different Verizon store). The abrupt response I got was "go home, and buy it on-line". The second time I wanted to pay my bill. Unbelieveably, I was told if you want to pay your VERIZON bill in this VERIZON store, you have to go through a "third party", and there is a charge for that. Yes. They CHARGE YOU to pay your bill. Cox wireless is looking way attractive now. read more

This store is poorly managed. I was placed on hold for 20 mins and then a Verizon employee disconnected my call. Anyway, I tried my best to figure out a way to spend more money with Verizon for an extra feature (hotspot). The Verizon employee told me she had no information and that I would have to call someone else. Confusing! So, I asked for a contact or phone number and she told me to google it. read more

I have never been treated worse by any customer service, ever. I switched from AT&T to be on my fiancees plan with him and it was the worst decision I have ever made. The phone I bought is the worst phone I've ever had, it is directly messing with my business that I run partially from my phone. The manager Gary just basically called me an idiot, told me I signed a return agreement and that because I sent in my rebate and don't have the barcode, he wasn't going to help me. The sales rep never outlined this detail to me and thus I am either faced with a 350$ fee to get away from Verizon or suffer for two years. The manager likened purchasing something from best buy to their store. "Best buy doesn't explain the return policy but because its printed on the receipt I am aware of the policy" oh thank you Gary for your kind words of wisdom. Too bad you don't get rebates from most things you purchase from best buy. This isn't even an actual Verizon store, so the actual Verizon reps can't help me either. Now I'm stuck, unhappily with this phone until out of pure anger I pay the $350 to get away from them. Thanks for your amazing work Gary. What goes around comes around. read more

He is super nice, patient & professional and took his time with us . Thanks so much Bill definitely great service Jill read more

My iPhone took a dive and had to be replaced! I was incredibly frustrated with the entire situation but I needed a phone! I went to GO Wireless and Yadira helped me out. She not only helped me figure out what phone was going to be the best to fit my needs, she also helped me to back up all of the stuff on my old phone and get it to my new one. I didn't want to lose all of my photos and I was really scared that would happen! She had to walk me through it in baby steps because my old phone was giving me such a difficult time! She was super sweet and she knew what the heck she was doing!!! I'm now the happy owner of an iPhone 8plus that has more than enough memory and cloud storage! read more

I had to add the Yelp app to my phone to do this review. To my new phone I should saw. Getting set up with a phone my daughter for me was a nightmare. She spent hours on her phone with ATT to transfer it to me on Verizon. I was even told by one store that it couldn't be done because the phone had different band widths. No true. So long story, but I flew both phones to Cali and went to Verizon in Alpine. Hector took care of it in short order and I am set. He was great!! read more

John @ the Verizon store in Alpine, CA was exceptional in untangling our phone service. The only thing that would have been easier is if he had full access to make changes as opposed to calling the corporate office to make changes. thanks John! read more

They need to make it apparent that this is not an actual Verizon store, this is an authorized dealer. Service was lousy, there were two associates that seemed to only push their own agenda and wanted to sell only what they had in stock in the most rude of ways. Right down to telling us that Iphone 5S was back ordered everywhere and that we would not be able to get them if we went anywhere else. I walked out of the store and called my typical Verizon store in El Cajon and was told otherwise. With drive time from Alpine I was in and out of the store with a new Iphone in an hour. The service was horrible and I felt that if I did not just go along with the products or services they were pushing, then I was not getting helped. Do yourself a favor and take an extra 15 mins to drive to the El Cajon store on Bradley for Verizon help, you will be glad you did. read more

I'm impressed! My previous review had two different people contact me right away to find out the details of my experience. I ultimately talked with Scott, one of the regional managers, who impressed me with his detailed questions and his patience to listen to what had happened. Not only did we have a good discussion about what might help our Alpine Verizon store, he said he'd keep in touch with me to help with my upgrade for the budget I've established. I'll update this review when my upgrade goes through. Stay tuned! read more

Alpine, CA GoWireless Store: Cody - Tech Guy, all around calm and collected Salesman. Got into store at 10:15AM to buy a new iPhone...the 6s, I am a little slow to change. Cody updated my account, got my new phone backed up, and then helped me with the new phone all in 30 minutes. That is with: four other customers in the store, one of them being a very loud, semi deranged lady. I do not think these guys get paid enough. Great service, fast, and painless. Thank you Cody! Elisa in Pine Valley ********Follow Up: 10 / 06 / 16 : Got my first bill - DO BEWARE - I CLEARLY told Cody I did not want insurance, he said I had it on my last plan...I did not....He said he would take off the insurance. I've gone into this location numerous times since I've moved to the area and always have had excellent service.
