Today I was having trouble with connecting to WiFi amongst other troubles with my iPhone. Stopped in at the Alpine location and worked with Chris. He asked a few questions and helped get my phone working correctly. Mind you I walked in at 6:40pm and Chris took the time to answer all my questions. I've worked with Chris a few times at this store. He is amazing to work with very thorough, patient and very professional.

I do not recommend this Verizon store. My account was completely mishandled during my visit, and I have now spent hours on the phone and in online chats trying to fix the mistakes made in‑store. The employees added several features to my account that they claimed were free, but they were not. These unauthorized add‑ons caused my bill to jump from about $150 to nearly $400. I was also told there was an in‑store promotion for a free iPhone with a new line, but instead I was signed up to finance a $1,200 device without my knowledge. After discovering all of this, I had to contact Verizon directly to start removing the charges, and I am still waiting for the proper adjustments. At this point, I'm still dealing with Verizon to correct all the issues caused by this store. Based on my experience, I would not trust this location with any purchase. The information I was given was misleading, and the extra charges felt like intentional upselling of services that were not part of any real promotion. DO NOT RECOMMEND this store -- I would switch carriers entirely if I didn't rely on Verizon's internet service. Buyer beware!!! Do not buy anything here-go the a corporate store in Santee or at Grossmont Center!!! This location is predatory. It is an authorized dealer-meaning they can sell you stuff but can't fix mistakes made. The associate Chris, answered our questions, but I didn't appreciate the attitude of the other young man who provided terrible customer service telling us we should've came to fix our problem a year ago-when we did go into a Verizon store a year ago to fix the problem and they said we had to go back to the store in California, they couldn't fix it in Wyoming. I bought a new iPhone from this store my old one had a button on the bottom of the screen but this new one doesn't. When I try to close Pandora music app I have had problems. I just took it back to the store to ask for help. I was wearing a face mask but was told to stand several feet back from the counter in not a nice way. Due to declining eyesight I was unable to see what she was trying to show me so I'm still not unsuccessful in closing the app. read more

I had issues with my SIM card went to A Verizon store that stated they couldn't help me in Santee that I needed to call customer service. Called customer service they advised I had to go into a store. Finally I landed in Alpine and Chris K was so patient and helpful contacted customer service for me while in the store and within minutes were able to get my phone up and running! After a short time the lady in front of me exits the store and I move up to the first line, only to get yelled at for not waiting until she called me to move forward. At this time I told her that I didn't appreciate her tone of voice and she was very rude in her actions and tone. Her reply to me was, "I don't have to wait on you and leave the store because I had a bad attitude." My reply back just got her more mad and she screamed, "I don't have to listen to you, " Get out now." I never raised my voice toward her on either occasion. I know that this store is not a company store. I feel sorry for the owner because this person does not care about his business or customers at all. Anyway, I tried my best to figure out a way to spend more money with Verizon for an extra feature (hotspot). I was out $900 when I bought a iPhone that should have cost me $200. I got a call that my phone was in but went to the store but no one knew where the phone was. It was supposed to have been delivered several days before. I went home with no phone. After a lot of moving things around, I did get my $700 back and I eventually got my iPhone. So, things eventually worked out but a little too much panic city for me. I've been in this store twice. Won't bother again. The first time I was trying to buy replacement battery for my blackberry (which I purchased at a different Verizon store). The abrupt response I got was "go home, and buy it on-line". The second time I wanted to pay my bill. Unbelieveably, I was told if you want to pay your VERIZON bill in this VERIZON store, you have to go through a "third party", and there is a charge for that. Yes. They CHARGE YOU to pay your bill. I have never been treated worse by any customer service, ever. I switched from AT&T to be on my fiancees plan with him and it was the worst decision I have ever made. The phone I bought is the worst phone I've ever had, it is directly messing with my business that I run partially from my phone. The manager Gary just basically called me an idiot, told me I signed a return agreement and that because I sent in my rebate and don't have the barcode, he wasn't going to help me. The sales rep never outlined this detail to me and thus I am either faced with a 350$ fee to get away from Verizon or suffer for two years. The manager likened purchasing something from best buy to their store. "Best buy doesn't explain the return policy but because its printed on the receipt I am aware of the policy" oh thank you Gary for your kind words of wisdom. Too bad you don't get rebates from most things you purchase from best buy. This isn't even an actual Verizon store, so the actual Verizon reps can't help me either. My iPhone took a dive and had to be replaced! I was incredibly frustrated with the entire situation but I needed a phone! I went to GO Wireless and Yadira helped me out. She not only helped me figure out what phone was going to be the best to fit my needs, she also helped me to back up all of the stuff on my old phone and get it to my new one. I didn't want to lose all of my photos and I was really scared that would happen! She had to walk me through it in baby steps because my old phone was giving me such a difficult time! I had to add the Yelp app to my phone to do this review. To my new phone I should saw. Getting set up with a phone my daughter for me was a nightmare. She spent hours on her phone with ATT to transfer it to me on Verizon. I was even told by one store that it couldn't be done because the phone had different band widths. No true. I ultimately talked with Scott, one of the regional managers, who impressed me with his detailed questions and his patience to listen to what had happened. Cody updated my account, got my new phone backed up, and then helped me with the new phone all in 30 minutes. They need to make it apparent that this is not an actual Verizon store, this is an authorized dealer. Service was lousy, there were two associates that seemed to only push their own agenda and wanted to sell only what they had in stock in the most rude of ways. Right down to telling us that Iphone 5S was back ordered everywhere and that we would not be able to get them if we went anywhere else. I walked out of the store and called my typical Verizon store in El Cajon and was told otherwise. With drive time from Alpine I was in and out of the store with a new Iphone in an hour. The service was horrible and I felt that if I did not just go along with the products or services they were pushing, then I was not getting helped. I had a great experience thanks to Yadira. I came in over the holidays to purchase a new phone for my daughter. Yadira patiently took the time to review my bill and explain it to me. As a result I was able to purchase two new phones for my daughters as well as get an upgrade for myself and my bill was hardly affected. I was also able to trade in my old phones and purchase several necessary accessories. Yadira made sure my girls and I got the phones we wanted and made this a wonderful experience. After I was so thoroughly done with Sprint because I can no longer get or receive calls within my home for 3 days now and they tell me everything is fine - I walk into the Verizon store in Alpine and within less than 30 minutes I have a new I Phone, connectivity, great reception and am done with Sprint - I am super happy.
