He helped us get the best deal for getting 2 new iPhone 16 Pros and we ended up switching to super fast Verizon internet with YouTube TV included for LESS than what we pay now! I will say it took several hours and the wait was very long so I highly recommend getting an appointment or you could wait hours to be seen. I purchased the "superior" product of Glass XTR2 for my iPhone 13 at this Verizon store for $59.99, reportedly with a ZAGG warranty. Within a few days, it was cracked. BUT with a ZAGG warranty, I was told by Verizon staff that I "just" needed to go to the ZAGG website to get a replacement. The ZAGG website now says that the expensive product is "out of stock" while the cheaper ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Elite Anti-Glare Apple iPhone 14/13 Pro/13 that they are selling on their website for $49.99 is available at no cost....until they charge $9.99 plus tax for shipping. Now on Amazon it is only $19.99. ZAGG and Verizon, you're both very frustrating. Take home message is that I can buy a screen protector for $19.99 plus tax with free shipping on a 3rd party website. read more

Haha look at this store. Very hit or miss. I bet it'd be miss or miss if they didn't actively solicit reviews. Whew, I really need to listen to Yelp and not even go in the door when it's this bad. Place even has below 4 star average on Google, and what place has a below 4 star average on Google? I came in to try to get the name that shows up when I call other people to be changed. It currently shows the previous person who owned my phone number. The lazy worker shrugged and told me two ways I can go do it on my own time. Hey that's cool that she didn't call customer service on my behalf (better Verizon employees have done that for me before...), but why not at least proactively write down a number for me? I next inquired about trade-in offers right now, and you would think this would be enough to make this lazy person want to do some work! It sucks to not get service for a non-revenue generating activity, but does she really not want to make a sale? She evidently didn't. After pulling up my account, she gave me some nonsense about how the primary account holder's name will always show up when calling [no... it's not the primary holder. It's the previous owner of this number who I've never met....] I reminded her that I wanted to know about trade in offers and she said "uh ok you can get up to 700." Anybody who cared even a little bit to make a sale would've followed that up with, "are you looking to trade in your XS? Great. Here's what you're paying now and here's what you would be paying after on these models..." Instead, this lady just stared at me after saying "uh ok you can get up to 700" and I was done for the day. My goodness, somebody should be at least half interested in getting the sale before I give them my business. Received the wrong order that I placed online and then when I brought it back to get the correct one a young guy with dreads/braids and a young white girl had attitudes like I made the mistake and didn't even bother to apologize. Your job is to make sure you give people the right thing because their information is on it! How careless! If you don't want to do your job simply go home. With all these horrible reviews and no changes this store needs to be shut down. The workers clearly don't want to work anyway. Came to the store this afternoon to purchase 2 New iPhones and upgrade my plan. Granted I was entering 35 minutes before they were due to close. Entered the store with my 65 year old mother, when one of employees yelled "Sir do you have a pickup?" He scolded me stating they were only taking appointments and dismissed us from the store. He didn't ask if it was quick or if we had a question, or at least point us in the direction so we could look. Far from inviting. Extremely rude. Sorry guys, I must have missed the memo where it said you had to have an appointment to come to your location. Note to management - the customer service is not going to improve when you allow employees to dictate policy based on their eagerness to leave or close early. Prepare to be robbed! Buyer beware! No exaggeration I walked into the store today after being directed to that location from the Dunwoody location because the previous store did not have the phone in stock. As soon as I walked through the door due to knowing what I was looking for I requested the phone the previous store said would be in stock. I asked the salesperson Malachi if they had the phone I was looking for. He said yes and proceeded to guide me through the payment process. Something told me to check the phone box and open it in the store, not only did he charge me an extra $122 dollars for a phone I didn't ask for it was a phone that I did not request! This was no accident and he continued to attempt to upswell me with a cord that would not work with the format for my car. After being part of 2 cars evacuating elderly family from Tampa, Florida to Alpharetta during Hurricane Irma, my about 30 day "new" (refurbished insurance replacement via Assurion), IPhone6s screen shut off entirely and I was completely unable to access anything on the phone. I went to this Verizon store and was thrilled with the service I received from Manager Caleb Brown. I told him that waiting for Assurion to ship me a new phone was not an option and that there MUST be another way to resolve this without me paying additional money to buy a new telephone. Caleb got on the phone with the Assurion rep and persisted until they came up with an acceptable solution. I was very relieved that I had a new functioning phone to guide us the 554 miles back after the storm (particularly on the back roads we had to use since part of Route 75 was still flooding), as well as having a phone to communicate with our 2nd family vehicle. I hope Verizon appreciates this fabulous employee. He was professional, patient, empathetic and focused on being a problem solver. Outstanding. read more

The sales associate Jay was phenomenal with helping me Switch from sprint to Verizon and trade in my iPhone. I had many issues that Jay very patiently dealt with. Jay stay an hour and a half after the store closed to help me. He was so kind and I felt terrible that I kept him so long. Jay helped me find my sprint account number(I had no idea what it was since my I shared a sprint account with brother). I also did not have my debit card on me and could only use Apple Pay. My bank would not allow me to use Apple Pay and Jay was so patient through out the whole process. Thank you Jay for your world class customer service! ALL STORES ARE NOT CREATED EQUALLY Sometimes, you may wonder "What's the point in reviewing another Verizon, they are all the same anyway?" No they are not. This particular store is nothing like the other ones I have recently visited. It is waaaay cooler. First of all, it has a large open floor plan and great seating areas. Many of the phones were openly displayed on tables which made it really easy to explore and experience each phone without feeling crowded. This store also had a larger selection of phones which included models that I had not yet seen. Also, displayed in the store were what I consider toys, (little gadgets that make your face light up and cause you to get way too excited) like a remote controlled, drone and a super-cool GO PRO camera with demo. Love it! After looking at phones for more than an hour, I needed something else to look at for a minute. Customer service was a step above as the employees seemed very knowledgeable about the products. When someone is talking to me about a product, I appreciate their personal insight and anecdotal information along with their professional opinion. I don't need them to recite the manual to me because I have already done the research before visiting the store. I was able to tell Rick what I really wanted and needed in a phone so that he could direct me accordingly. No shenanigans! The conversation was focused and helpful and I will probably return to this location when I have made the final decision regarding the appropriate phone for me. We were in the store so long that we were actually given bottles of water. Nice touch! If you want great service, get in early, with research in hand and know what you do and don't want so that you can have a great experience. read more

I'm not sure where all the negativity is coming from, but I will say that my experience here was infinitely better than my experiences at other Verizon stores. I had the associate Ashley handling my case and she was very knowledgeable. She helped get me set up with a phone, accessories, ect. and all with a smile! Very efficient and well done. She was also knowledgeable about local company discounts, packages, deals, and the like. The only issue I had was with the manager, who kept pushing accessories I didn't want, but I only dealt with him for a short time. He was still very friendly. read more

This is not an evaluation of this particular store. It involves Verizon service in general. Over 15 years ago I switched from another carrier because of their lack of service and found Verizon to be all that I expected. However, in the past couple of years I am terribly unhappy with their coverage. I'm constantly unable to make calls or dropping calls from places I previously experienced no problem. Contacting them makes no difference. If you are looking for a carrier, I suggest you look elsewhere until they get back to providing the excellent service they once had. read more

Everyone knows to budget at least an hour when visiting Verizon stores, however this particular location you need much longer. I've been to this one twice now and the lack of customer service and transparency of transactions is the worse of them all. All too familiar story where the sales associate tells you that something is included when you upgrade, but then you receive the bill and there is a $140 one time charge. However, when we went in to address the discrepancy, the manager would not help and said that was the sales associate's responsibility. In what organization does the management not take ownership for employees that he or she supervises? Worse management here that I have ever seen amongst any business. Overall there are some good associates here, but would recommend going to perimeter location instead. If you must come here, do not work with Arthur or management. *Note that I am a Verizon customer only because of my employer contract rate with the service provider. Very poor experience with the store manager, Joanna. After explaining how the company made a mistake in mailing me equipment I didn't order, she insisted id have to pay the restock fee to return it (70% of the price mind you) and that was the only option. So I called customer service with her in front of me and they graciously resolved the issue. I went looking for a phone to replace mine since it was dying. It was going to be a very easy sale for someone. The person helping led me to the galaxy s5 which is what I was interested in. I ask for a specs sheet and they don't have anything with specs. So do people really just pick phone by how pretty they are these days... They guy told me some information about the phone, but not that much. so On the phone I go look up the specs online. Lone behold the sales rep was incorrect with about 95% of what he told me. Either way I was still interested in the phone, but stupid me, why would I think they would actually have a phone in stock that they sell.. well they didn't. the guy suggested going to Samsung's website to buy the phone because it may be cheaper... little did he know that trying to go through Samsung's website to buy the phone directs right back to Verizon's website. Then he left it off saying I would just need to bring the phone in for them to transfer it over on the account... wrong again. I just took my SIM card from my previous phone and moved it into the new phone. I know it's black magic. Customer service is nonexistent! read more

Normally, I DREAD going there because in the past I have had just awful experiences (rude staff, no help, long wait, etc.). HOWEVER, I went in to upgrade my iPhone 8 to one of the newer iPhones. Jason was AMAZING I explained to him what I was looking for and he laid out the perks of each new iPhone and walked me through the payment that I would be having monthly compared to my previous one, how much I would be paying out of pocket that day, which size GB I should be comfortable with, EVERYTHING! Verizon Wireless has had me and my family as a customer for over 20 years. With their recent changes I will not stay with them any longer when this contract ends. I went into the Alpharetta location as I always preferred using the true Verizon stores. However the lines and wait took a very long time, and they didn't check me in as soon as I walked in and another person got ahead of me. After they finally became available to help me, they were short and very non customer friendly at all!!!! I didn't make them help me pick a phone or anything and they got me strait to the register and bagged the phone immediately. Then they moved to the next customer faster then me having time to ask about setting up the phone. AT THAT POINT I WAS TOLD VERIZON WIRELESS NO LONGER ASSISTS WITH ACTIVATION OF CELLPHONES AND HAD NO FURTHER HELP!!!! Their wonderful policy wasn't even shared or advised of before they left me hanging by the register!! in addition to this, the phone did not actually activate! It gave me an error that I had to call into customer service! So how about telling me how a customer should activate their own phone when it doesn't work and you have no other phones? This is absurdly ridiculous and they will be losing me as a customer permanently! read more

Sales rep was generally ok, but was a bit vague wrt trading in devices to get store credit & conveniently forgot to apply a $95 trade-in credit for my son's phone since we spent an additional $150+ on mobile phone accessories (protective cases & screen savers). That said, the store manager, Reuben, was both defensive & borderline confrontational when I brought the devices back in the following day complaining about the cost of the accessories & the missed phone turn-in credit. I asked for an in-store credit of which he was adamant about not offering. He seemed both extremely agitated & aggressive in his replies....I will never patronize the store on North Point Parkway in Alpharetta again, and to be very honest it has cast Verizon in a bad light. I had a terrible experience at this location. I bought a new phone and bundle from a sales associate, who seemed knowledgable and was very polite! I was impressed with how quickly she helped me pick out the products and set up my new phone. She helped me choose a new phone case with an iRing and helped me set it up, then we chose a wireless charger together. However- once I get home I realize I can't use the wireless charger along with the iRing on the case! I head back to the store, upset because I was sold products in a bundle that wouldn't work together. A different sales person gave me a whole heap of excuses and the manager finally intervened. The only good thing about this experience was that he was able to issue a return for all three products in the bundle. However, he gave no apology for the lack of training his staff obviously has and instead gave me some additional excuses. Huge inconvenience all around for me and terrible customer service.
