I had a great experience at Verde, a cozy wood-fired pizza spot with a charming Italian-inspired, rustic ambiance. The atmosphere really sets the perfect mood for a relaxed, tasty meal. We ordered the Margherita pizza, which was classic and flavorful, and the Prosciutto, Fig & Arugula pizza! Both were cooked to perfection in the wood oven, giving them that authentic, smoky flavor. The staff was amazing, recommended a nice wine to compliment the meal. I definitely recommend Verde to any pizza lovers looking for a casual spot with great vibes and even better pizza.

This is a very cute brick oven pizza place! We came here Friday night ( made a reservation for early dinner day off) and were seated immediately. Service was very quick as well. The food was good but the menu was honestly overwhelming. There are so many pizzas to choose from and the two that we ordered were average. I would prefer a more consolidated pizza selection with their top pies!

We came here after the Army-Navy game with my family of nine. We had a reservation for 8:30, but arrived about an hour early due to when the game ended, and they were more than happy to adjust the time so we could be seated right away. We even had our own private room, separate from everyone else. Our waiter, Kirkland, was amazing--super nice, talkative, and genuinely funny. He made us laugh and made the whole experience even better. We ordered our food and it came out quickly and was SO delicious. The balsamic glaze on the salad was perfection, especially with the pears. The pizza was AMAZING. The tomato sauce on the margherita was a little sweet at first, but then I realized how perfectly it balanced with the rest of the pizza. My whole family loved it. Between our wonderful waiter and the other friendly staff, plus the cute, cozy atmosphere in such a pretty spot, this place was a win. Definitely coming back!

We went here for restaurant week and I really think it's one of the best places! The service was great, our server was very attentive. The food was good, like always. I really don't think I've had anything bad here before!

Had a girls night with some friends at Verde. Service was friendly and the food was tasty. We shared the pesto trio sampler as our app. I had the quattro formaggi pizza. My friends had a margarita pizza and a cappuccetto rosso pizza. We shared gelato and tiramisu to finish our meal.

Lived up to the hype. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the combinations felt unique without being overcomplicated. Would definitely go back to try other options.

Let me set the scene: it's a sunny afternoon in Baltimore and I just finished my run along the water with my partner. We want to stop somewhere in Fells to grab a quick happy hour drink and meal post-run. We go into a few places and nothing is really jumping out at us. We go to a bar that has an overpriced greasy hand burger food truck attached to it and that just wasn't what I was feeling. Then, I remembered my friend raving about Verde and I had just seen on social media a few days before that someone had rated them the best espresso martinis in Baltimore (or at least they were towards the top of the list). I suggest we ditch Fells and head over to Canton, and I am so incredibly glad we did. Although they don't do Happy Hour, they do half price bottles of wines on Wednesdays and they have a deal on pizzas on Mondays or Tuesdays I think (I can't remember the specifics). The menu is extensive and I loved watching the chefs making the pizzas and putting them in the beautiful tiled oven. The pizzas came out quickly. I got the Il Demone, which was amazing. I truly love honey on pizza and the sun-dried tomato pesto added a little kick! My partner's margherita was awesome too. We ended up sharing half and half because we both enjoyed each other's so much! The espresso martini was good too. My friend who suggested this place is gluten free and she raved about their gluten free dough and crust. This was definitely the best pizza I have had since coming to Maryland.

We went to verde for a girl's night, and, like always, it never disappoints. One of my friends even says that it's her favorite restaurant in all of baltimore. I ordered the Cipolla pizza, and wow--the caramelized onions were cooked to absolute perfection. We shared a couple appetizers for the table; all were super fresh. The bread is always delicious (soft and warm on the inside with the perfect crunchy crust). 4 of my friends got the Margherita pizza with mixed reviews--one called it a 10/10, while another said it could use a little more cheese. Overall, everything hit the spot, and the vibe was everything we wanted for a cozy night out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for pizza with a twist. There's something on the menu for everyone!

Came here for dinner and had a great experience! We came for the variety of pizzas and specifically for the vegan pizza menu since two people in our group are vegan. From the moment we walked in, and throughout dinner, every employee we interacted with was friendly and attentive. Food and drinks came out very quick, hot, and delicious! For drinks, I ordered a draft beer. They have a good variety of beers, wines, cocktails and a few NA drinks. Cute atmosphere as well, and I'd love to come here again!!

Verde is an adorable neighborhood bar/nicer pizza place! I love the intimate feel of the older row house setting. It gets busy, so definitely make a reservation, and be prepared to get cozy with other diners. They have a wide variety of pizzas to choose from. It's good, if not the best I've had in the city. On my most recent visit we were seated outside and there were a lot of mosquitos. Luckily they were able to move us inside. Overall a good spot to grab a more upscale pizza and drink in the neighborhood.

Everyone raves about Verde so I had to go check it out a while ago. It was alright- this style of pizza is not my favorite tbh and there are no substitutions or changes to their menu. The burrata was alright, nothing special. The pizza was unique but not my favorite in the city. Overall, it is a cute spot for a girls night or a date night. The service was kinda slow but it was super busy.

Came here for restaurant week, and got a very filling three-course meal for only $35! The polpette (meatballs) and funghi di bosco pizza were both as expected and served in generous portion sizes. The star of the show was the tiramisu with seemingly fresh-baked, fluffy and spongy lady fingers. Great balance of coffee/bitter flavor and creamy texture!

Service was just ok, our server tried but he seemed overwhelmed. We felt like we needed to Request less items to help him keep up. Drinks were good, when they arrived. Loved the espresso martini. Margherita pizza was tasty!

The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

I had the Southern Slammer Sandwich (with the grits) and my sister had the Fried Chicken, Biscuit and Gravy Omelet (with the hash browns). We couldn't stop saying how good they were! The service was on point, everyone was very nice, and the noise level was fine. Here is something I literally have never experienced anywhere else: My sister has a couple of food allergies and she gave the waitress a piece of paper where she listed out what she can and cannot have. A few minutes later, a lovely young woman (I think she said she was a manager) came out and discussed the list with my sister in detail, just to make sure the restaurant got it exactly right. My sister almost cried! As far as timing goes: They don't take reservations, but they have an efficient system -- when you arrive, they take down your name and phone number, tell you how long the wait will be, and then text you when it's your turn. They told us 40 minutes but it turned out to be only 20, so it's good we hadn't wandered too far away. Next time we're in Baltimore, we'll definitely be back.

Spousal Unit and I took the voracious pack o' GrandKiddies for breakfast after a Wicked-good night on the town in Bawlmer, hon. So we had to cart them all to Blue Moon! Blue Moon was featured on Guy Fieri's DDD show, making it (and it's second location, Blue Moon Too) insanely popular. As a result, it's always busy, and because of it's size, there is no space to wait inside until a table is ready. For a person with knee issues, that meant painfully climbing up and down the steps more than a few times (and did I mention is was windy and cold?). Once inside, it's a quirky place, with interesting art work everywhere - but the main draw is the food. Ah, the food... Blue Moon is well known for it's Sweet Baby Jesus (Hash browns topped with jumbo lump crab, seasoned with Old Bay, fresh diced tomatoes, melted cheddar cheese, 2 eggs and Hollandaise) and Captain Crunch French Toast (crushed Captain Crunch cereal encrusted French toast topped with fresh fruit and cream, served with syrup on the side). They also make a killer Biscuits and Sausage Gravy sized to feed an army, and a wide variety of pancakes, omelettes, and sandwiches. Our vultures overordered (did I say they were hungry?) but left not a scrap of food on their plates, a small wonder given that they are not adventurous eaters. Everything was beautifully cooked, promptly served, and delicious. Our server was a wisecracking joy - friendly, knowledgeable, and really efficient. She provided needed distractions as our GKs gnawed the table waiting for food to arrive. Way cool! Spousal Unit and I have eaten at Blue Moon Too in the past.
