This has always been my favorite nail salon because the quality of their work is excellent, and even when they're busy, they've always managed to provide great service. That's why today's experience was so disappointing. I called ahead and made an appointment for both a gel SNS manicure and a gel pedicure. When I arrived, the salon was busy, which I completely understand. However, no one asked if I had an appointment--they simply told me to have a seat. A few minutes later, another customer walked in and asked me if there was a wait because she didn't have an appointment. I explained that I wasn't sure because I had called and made an appointment for both services. She then spoke with the staff, mentioning that she had also made an appointment around the same time, and they seated her before me. I had to speak up and remind them that I also had an appointment before they finally attended to me. They started with my pedicure, but after it was finished, they completely forgot about my manicure. I politely reminded them, and they asked if I could come back tomorrow. I had to explain three separate times that I specifically made an appointment for both services today because I could not come back another day. Eventually they squeezed me in, but by then I had already been at the salon for nearly two hours. They asked if I could continue waiting for a station, and I agreed because I understand that mistakes happen. I had to tell them over 4 times which colors and that it was the powder not the polish. Once I was finally seated, they removed my polish, then moved me to another chair, and ultimately skipped the actual manicure service entirely, only completing the SNS application. At that point, I had been in the salon for almost three hours and just wanted to be finished. What hurt the most wasn't the mistake--it was the lack of communication and accountability. At no point did anyone sincerely apologize for the confusion, the delays, or forgetting an entire service that I had scheduled. Instead, I was handed a bottle of lotion and a piece of chocolate after mentioning it was my birthday. While I appreciate the gesture, it didn't make up for the fact that I had to cancel my birthday dinner because I spent nearly three hours at the salon. This experience left me feeling incredibly disappointed and honestly heartbroken because I've supported this business for years. I know they're capable of providing amazing service, which is exactly why this experience was so upsetting. I will likely continue coming because I've had so many positive experiences in the past, but I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously. Loyal customers deserve better communication, acknowledgment when mistakes are made, and a sincere apology when their time isn't respected.

I had to ask to get up and go clean the bleeding wound, as my nail artist proceeded with the manicure after the cut without concern for sanitization or potential infection. However, he was clearly very apologetic and kept checking in to make sure I was okay, which I appreciated. But later, the nail drill nicked the skin next to my cuticle, which hurt. I feel like I wouldn't have been cut if we just slowed down a little bit.

Just four days later, one of my nails chipped, and about three days after that, the polish on a different nail completely peeled off.
