Great food and service. The wine list is substantial and there is a good selection of draft beer. I started with the lamb chops sizzling on a stone, followed with Risotto Alla Milanese(prosciutto & peas risotto) - both terrific. My wife raved about her Eggplant Parmigiana. We will be going again soon. read more

We are so proud to have this fine restaurant just minutes from our house. Several years ago when it first opened, we had lunch and were hooked ever since. Great lunch menu and we are never dissapointed. My wife loves the chicken sandwich, with pasta salad. I will usually have the same, but with coleslaw. Hot fresh bread is served in a bag as a starter and then everything is just fantastic from there on. Always good service although sometimes they may be slightly short handed at lunch time if they are caught off guard and the place fills up, but don't worry about it. The crew is very good! Nice views and modern/rustic decor. They have a private banquet room that was built a year or so ago and that is great for big gatherings. Just a excellent place that we can always count on and bring friends and family when we don't want to drive all over town for dinner. A hidden gem in Henderson! read more

If you go here, plan to eat before arriving. While the food wasn't bad, it wasn't worth the price and the device was terrible, quite possibly the worst service I've ever had. In their defense, I did not have a reservation but there were still plenty of tables open. My waiter took my drink order within a few minutes of sitting down and returned in a respectable timeframe with my drink and a plate of oil and vinegar (no bread). It went down hill from there. I sat for over 15 minutes before he returned to take my order. I actually contemplated throwing a couple bucks on the table for my beer and leaving. In hind site I wish I would have. Once he took my order, he was gone again (still no bread). Another person brought my ravioli out and asked if I'd like bread to which I said yes. I ate the ravioli (no bread) and was still hungry (not very much food). My waiter finally appeared holding the check and asked if I was alright. I asked for a desert menu, which he promptly retrieved from about 4 feet away, and some bread. He brought some breadsticks in a brown take home bag. I ordered a desert, ate it and then waited another 10 minutes before a different waiter who was putting glasses away under the bar where I sat asked if I was doing ok. I asked him for my check which he quickly retrieved. I paid my bill and left. This is the first time I have ever negatively commented on any place I've eaten. I hope I never feel the need to do it again. Hopefully this helps someone out there. Thursday Feb. 2, 2017 7:00 pm read more

Best meal that I ate while in Las Vegas! I had the sauteed scallops and shrimp with asparagus, a roasted tomato and risotto (in this case-rice; I'm used to risotto being a pasta) delicious nonetheless. 5 stars for their roasted tomato (soup or bisque) yummm, I wish I had some right now! Loved their canoli Great ambiance Great company. Our friends that took us there had some fall off the bone short ribs which he really liked. His wife and daughter standardly get the grilled romaine (it looked good) The service was really good. read more

Ventano's is one of the better Italian restaurants in town (on and off the strip). Food is great, people are nice and prices are reasonable. I do find the tip options a little weird. Instead of the traditional receipt where you fill it all out, they have this device that calculates either an 18% or 20% tip to your meal. That's all good and well, but it's like "What if I feel the waiter/staff didn't deserve it?" Anyway, all in all, we love this place and keep coming back. I don't know if it's proximity to the house is a good or a bad thing! read more

Love this place! Found it by accident and decided to try it. Food was excellent as well as the service! Family friendly and you can dress down or up! But, its also about the view! Wow! I think when temperatures cool off a bit, the best seat would be the view from the open patio! You got to go there to see and appreciate it! Bona petit! read more

Well, last night's visit was horrible. It was our wedding anniversary, and we had some of the worst service I can remember. Our waiter (Austin) was out of his league, and pretty much ruined our evening. We ordered a bottle of wine, and ten minutes later we were told they didn't have it, so we picked another. We ordered the bruschetta, and sadly the bread was rock hard, and the topping was flavorless. They also forgot to bring it to us before our entrees. The main courses were good, thus the two stars. After they were delivered, we were abandoned. After finishing the meal, we go 20 minutes without a check in from our waiter. He was over polishing wine classes. We moved all our plates and glasses to the edge of the table hoping that would spark a visit. Nothing. We had to get the server's assistant to clear our table. She was able to get him to at least bring our check. There was no mention of desert, because at this point it was very clear he had failed us and wanted to end his shift. When you are shelling out over $100 for dinner for two, I expect good service. The Vegas valley has an abundance of great food, so there is little room for error. read more

yikes! this place is awful. if you must eat here, get a bottle of wine and order the grilled ramaine salad and stop there. everything else is inedible. Pass! read more

Recently had dinner here celebrating a friends birthday. While overall it was a good experience, my entree order was spaghetti carbonara. The menu description was on the money - sauced w/pancetta, eggs and parmesan. However, what arrived was a version of Alfredo - definitely a lot of cream and almost no bacon/pancetta. I didn't send it back because I didn't want to create a distraction from the birthday boy who had selected the restaurant and was anxious that everyone enjoyed their meal. Was very disappointed in my meal as authentic carbonara is my favorite. read more

The food was very good. We were four adults having an early dinner on NYE. The restaurant was about 3/4's full. First thing I noticed was the clatter of talking and no background music. Next was there was seating with good views but we were taken to a table in the upper section to the side with no view. We are fine looking people of average size, and we were dressed nicely, so no reason to hide us. Next, a bag was plopped in the center of the table. It was a bag with dinner rolls. We asked for a bread basket and the waiter declined our request: "we only provide bread baskets for larger parties." So, we passed the bag around and when the waiter returned we asked for more bread. He nodded and never brought us more. We ordered wine and the antipasto plate (very good!) and the waiter poured the wine and gave each an appropriate amount except one of us was poured about 1/3 of what the others got. We wanted to simply enjoy our wine and antipasto but the waiter came 3 times prompting us to order, even though the restaurant wasn't full and was actually getting a thinner crowd. We ordered, I reminded about the bread, and the food came in a short time. Very good except 2x we had to remind servers that one of us had not gotten the vegetable side dish that came with her entree. We ordered eggplant, manicotti, and two of the house specialties. We all liked our meals and they were very generous servings. Never got more bread. Just below our table on the main floor, a family was seated while before we ordered our entrees. A screaming child, 2 other kids and parents (5 humans). The kids all got macaroni dishes from a kids' menu. I think their final bill must have been significantly less than our 4 adult meals, antipasto, and 2 bottles of wine. They got a bread basket. read more

we went here for a birthday dinner.... it was $89 per person for the wine dinner... 5 courses and a wine pairing. it was loud and we sat in rounds of 8. the first course was a wedge salad with hot cappicola...and it was so good! great salad!! i was impressed.... next 4 courses...not good. the food was so unmemorable... it felt like buffet food. the wine pairing was all red wine... i didn't drink any of it... since i prefer white. good thing our friends love red wine, they drank 10 glasses or wine for me and my man. lol who knew cops love red wine!!! lol. i will never eat here again. overpriced and mediocre. the highlight of the evening is we won a magnum of the wine... red of course, so we gave it to our friend.. the birthday girl! read more

The food is delicious, a breathtaking view, make a reservation to sit outside and enjoy both. The service is a little hit or miss, but for the most part we always enjoy ourselves. The eggplant parm and the chicken parm are soo good. The Shrimp on the Stone is delicious and dessert is great if you have room :) read more

This was our second time here in two years. Wife was in the mood for some good tiramisu and I was in the mood for a salad (of all things). We were greeted by server Adam, who was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Started with some lamb chops on the hot rock which was fantastic. Wife got the shrimp scampi that came with risotto. The shrimp unfortunately were nothing special but at least they were a decent medium size and the risotto was absolutely perfect. I got a cup size (doesn't show that they have a cup size on the menu but was told by the server it was available, as well as a bread bowl) clam chowder and it was absolutely amazing. The soup was delightfully chunky and full of flavor. The ingredients (clams, potatoes and prosciutto) were all diced into tiny pieces. I think this was the key to the amazing flavor. I also had the Caesar salad that had their own homemade dressing with anchovies blended into it. I had them add anchovies on top of the salad also and it was just the right balance of saltiness to compliment the salad. Our kid got Mac and cheese which was very creamy and buttery, not dry at all (kids menu) and we finished our meal with a beautiful tiramisu that was loaded with booze! Thank you for the end of a wonderful evening. read more

Excellent food. Very attentive service. Carlos, our waiter is the best. Been here many times and have not been disappointed.

I went in with great expectations, but I was sincerely let down by the food. If you go here the oysters are a must have, they really are to die for, best oysters thus far in Vegas. I ordered the Linguine alla Vongole, the serving size was large and the pasta was very tough, the clams were tasteless, but the sauce was very salty. I also had some of the salmon from Filetto Di Salmone and it was okay, not much taste, sort of tough. Nothing special. These three stars go out to the service which was really great. and the whole decor of the restaurant was lovely AND THE OYSTERS! Overall the food here was mediocre. read more

Place is great, food was well prepared, the view is indeed nice. The restaurant is rather huge and there are many tables. By the time we were done with our early dinner it had gotten crowded but to my surprise it remained relatively low on noise. I had the pasta with shrimp and indeed it was prepared to perfection. The lobster bisque was amazing. It was served in a bread bowl. I recommend they serve that bread instead of the one they toss in a paper bag as a starter. Kids' pizza and pasta was superb as well. I wish our server had mentioned that they have specials. Omitting this important part of a dining experience was not pleasant and I will make sure to be on the lookout next time around. read more

This is a true gem in terms of the beautiful view of the city without the drama of being on the strip. Just celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary there. I wish I could say the food was Awesome but it is just "OK" in fact maybe not even OK? just acceptable. I gotta be honest. The reason for the 5 stars is they were good enough to surprise our small party of 5 with a great desert cake with Happy Anniversary written on the platter!! Great surprise. Ironically We also spent or 38th anniversary there as well. Serice was phenomenal. Thanks for your help making our night wonderful read more

The food was fine. Unremarkable, but fine. What drove me to write this review was the astonishingly bad service. Our waiter, Adam, did not ask how our salads were. He did not ask how our food was. He did not ask if we wanted more to drink (we had to flag down a busboy for that). He did not ask if we wanted a check. In fact, after he took our orders he never came back by our table. It was almost funny--he would pass within inches of our table without acknowledging us. I was out of soda for 10 minutes before my grandparents asked a busboy for help. Given the cost of the meal and the quality of the food, this restaurant can't afford to have such terrible service. read more

What a lovely find! Beautiful view overlooking the strip, with a a fantastic home style ambiance;)) Our first visit was memorable, shrimp fra diavolo for me, extra spicy with the addition of fresh spinach as requested...just beautiful! What looks to be a rather lovely tiramisu to go....we will definitely be back, yummo!! read more

I am a graduate of the California Culinary Academy. With us was also a line cook from the Strip. The others in our party (of 5) are or were in the Hospitality industry. We arrived on time (Monday 4/25) at 7:00. We were seated promptly. I have been in Las Vegas for over 20 years and we have have good experiences at this restaurant over the years. The view is great. We were seated picnic style at a blank table. We server brought us a knife and fork rolled in a paper towel and a menu which was 3 sheets of paper stapled together in the top left corner. This not an inexpensive restaurant. We ordered at 7:10 and at 8:00 I asked for the manager or our server (no food). We were never offered cocktails or a wine list. We just had water. I ordered the gnocchi with pesto. What I got was not fresh pasta. It was probably from Costco out of a bag and the pesto out of a jar. The other meals were equally poor. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in all of the years I have lived here. If you are looking for an evening of quality dining, find someplace else! read more

We love this place!!! The view is breathtaking; the ambiance is cozy, and the food is tender, delicious, and cooked to perfection, but the cherry on top is having Carlos as your server. Sometimes slow on the service but they are nice people, the food is delicious and their wine deals put the Vegas strip restaurants to shame.

I wasn't expecting all these nice reviews. Maybe I picked a bad night? It's true; the view is great, the restaurant in nice looking and in a nice area, the patio is beautiful.... But.....the food was dull, flavorless and boring. I was one of four on my trip here. I liked the fresh/warm bread before my meal. Nice touch. I also enjoyed the homemade sauces in the big jars at the entrance. Looking over all the ingredients and sauces, I suspected I was in for a real treat. When eating at an Italian restaurant for the first time, I usually go with a traditional dish. I feel this helps you gauge an Italian restaurant well before opting for more adventurous dishes. I picked Lasagna. I can't recall what my friends got, which is unsurprising as they had the same complaints I did; Bland, not much flavor, uninteresting food. Certainly not terrible, and we ate most of our food, but we left disappointed, for sure. My lasagna, besides being flavored only by being slightly burnt on top, was also watery, making me wonder if it had been frozen. I can't believe a so called "fine" Italian dining restaurant freezes it's lasagna, but I can't think of another explanation for having so much water in the bottom of a lasagna dish. I'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I'm still puzzled... The one thing I would have to change right away is how the bill as paid. I gave the server my credit card, and he returned with a hand held credit card machine. Instead of being able to discreetly pick up the check for my friends, I'm now pushing buttons, and we're printing paperwork at our table. How classy..... I'm willing to give Ventano a second chance once I've run out of new places to visit, but obviously, I can't recommend it. read more

I have been to this place many times and it is one my favorite places to eat in the whole city. Very consistent food, always fantastic and reasonably priced for the experience and service you receive. The service is also consistent and outstanding. The music is spot on and is never obnoxious. The place looked nice and all. My friend and I ordered Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, calamari, clam chowder and their specialty dessert (forgot the name of the dessert) we told our server that we want our dessert the same time as our food because my friend won't really eat the dishes we ordered, she just want the dessert. We got our Calamari first and it was Amazing, probably THE BEST calamari I've ever tasted. Then took a while to get my fettuccini.. That was fine.. as I was eating it i noticed that my dish have HAIR! It was okay, i understand but i didnt want to eat anything else so we just asked for our dessert that hasnt came in yet! Our server said it will be right out in a minute.. It's been 1 1/2 hours and no dessert on our table ! Won't come here anytime soon.. read more

Had a family dinner for a party of six on 11/12/2018. Everyone at our table was very disappointed with their meal. We have been to Ventano's several times and each time the food is just marginal.
