My wife and I met our friends there for dinner, it was fantastic, the bread sticks, the main course's everything was on point including the service, the view is wonderful and overall a fantastic evening. read more

The service was great! The view was spectacular. The food was good. I'll definitely return to try other menu items. Their piccata sauce was phenomenal. Loved the location away from the hustle and bustle. Easy to find. Parking was odd. Most of it was in the back but that's not enough to detract from the restaurant. Excellent menu selections. The tiramisu was delicious. read more

We were celebrating a special occasion and so excited to try a new restaurant. The food was good but the service was terrible. My husband ordered soup and I ordered a salad. We waited 45 minutes....no salad or soup and here comes our dinner. The restaurant was not very busy. The waiter said oh sorry they didn't bring that out to you. I'll take it off the bill... like I was going to pay for something I never received. The service was very disappointing. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the city lights but they really need to work on their service. read more

This place is absolutely amazing, the Blackened Shrimp was to die for! The service was great, the bar ambience was dim and cozy and I Highly recommend this gem! read more

Probably some of the worst Italian food in Henderson. Decent view, but everything else stinks. It's where old people with no taste buds go. It's completely overpriced. Better options in this area are Bella Vita at The District, Bottiglia at Green Valley Ranch and Bravo at Galleria mall. Whole place needs to be demolished to make room for somewhere nicer. read more

Amazing, absolutely amazing. It's a bit pricey, but for the quality of food it's worth it. Solid service all around, and the food, just mmmmmmmmm. I had chicken piccata with grilled asparagus, and it was flawless. My SO had clams, and they were flawless. The bread they give you with the vinaigrette is great as well. And we also had a great view out the window. Great restaurant, great service, great food. read more

Service is great! Food & back patio is incredible! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommended for vegas locals!

First time at Ventano. My friend and walked in at 2:57 and the first thing the waiter said was you have 3minutes for the lunch menu if not you will pay the higher prices. Wow really.. well first time there so didn't even know what was on the menu. Food was ok service not so great. read more

A wonderful Italian restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was wonderful and the ambiance is pretty solid. The portions are huge, so go with a game-plan for splitting or a big to-go box. The menu is fairly extensive so you are sure to find something great. read more

Not too bad the Calamari was a little tough, I had the chicken Marsala not too bad though I wish they had angel hair pasta the sauce is a bit thick. Great service though the bread is really good. read more

First time here I placed a to go order for a Lasagna, garlic bread and a Saltimbocca. Unfortunately the saltimbocca was far from good. First on the website they only have the dinner menu available I went off of that and placed the order. It says it comes with linguini, mine came with fingerling potatoes. I also noticed that the prosciutto looks like it was just placed in the corner of the to go container, not sautéed. There was absolutely no sign of it hitting a pan. Then I took a bite and I tasted lemon. A strong lemon flavor, luckily I like lemon, however it's not what I paid for. Unless I'm wrong saltimbocca should not have a strong lemon flavor, a wine reduction and sage but I got nothing like that. After I got home I only noticed the potatoes so I called about having linguini the host said that she'll place an order for linguini but I didn't want to go there just for that. The lasagna and garlic were good. I'm definitely never coming back to this place again. read more

A full room on a Saturday night after all these years goes to show they're in touch with their customers. Great location, great food, and no complaints on the service. My cousins and I was on vacation in Las Vegas and the bartender at our hotel told us that we had to go to Ventano Italian Grill and Seafood. Let me say that we were all really glad that we chose to listen!! The food was amazing but what made this the best restaurant was the servers Sergio and Adam!! We didn't know what to get because everything looks so good, they took the time and explained to us everything on the menu and gave us great suggestions. Great job guys and keep up the great work!!! read more

Just mediocre. Restaurant was not busy but the service was poor and the food was just ok. Will not go back.

I would have to say pass on this one. They did not seem to busy but our server apparently was. The bus boy took our order. He was very nice and apologetic. So we still had hope the food was good because this was a recommendation from a friend. Sad to say my lasagne was cold in the middle and it was just a mess of melted cheese. One out of the three of the manicotti my husband ordered was good. When I asked our bus boy if they microwaved the food he said no and apologized again. Again our server never acknowledges us and I have to ask the bus boy for the check.I hate to give one star but sorry to say its deserved on this one. Find another venue to eat at. read more

Do NOT waste your time or money here! There are too many choices to go to eat here! They split an entire plate of salad on my mother and my fathers beer in his salad. They handled the situation in the worst manner possible. There was no manager on staff and absolutely noone to try to make the situation better. The hostess was on her phone and rolled her eyes at the situation. How can you run a restaurant in Las Vegas like this? Dont waste your time or money here! You have choices..the food does not warrant the amateur service. I'm appalled. read more

My husband and I hadn't been here in 2 years. We went on Friday, had reservations and were seated immediately. The ambiance is really nice and we had a beautiful view of the city. Michael was our server and he was awesome! We took our time, enjoyed cocktails first. Ordered calamari and a lobster bisque in a bread bowl to start. The lobster bisque was the best I ever had! We had lobster ravioli with shrimp and asparagus for dinner. They plated our meal separately without us even asking so we both had our own dinner plates. It also was really good! We even ordered desserts and espressos. Everything was so good and tasted really authentic. We were not rushed at all and really got to enjoy our Anniversary dinner. We will definitely be back. read more

Ventano's is absolutely one of our very places in Henderson. Just had a fabulous dinner on Christmas Eve with our favorite waiter, Carlos. The food is delicious every single time and you can't beat the ambience. As busy as it was last week, the hostesses were all smiles and greeting everyone as if they are regulars. We've been coming here for years and I've never been let down. It's always a great experience. P.S. I had the eggplant rollatini that was absolutely amazing and the wine was perfectly paired. read more

Got to say that the reviews i have read are true....very good, food and service. The food. I had chicken parmesan that was fantastic. Wife had the chickens fet. Another good choice. One thing so important to me...hot food. There is nothing worse then cold food. Not here. All our meals came to the table really HOT. So hot you had to wait to eat it, no problem here. Hot food, because of the service. We had 3 different servers tonight. That tells you this place cares about your dinning experience. Also, voted one of the best views of Vegas. Sunsets are spectacular. View of Vegas with the mountain range behind, and the sun setting behind that. Great patio and great food Dont miss this place. read more

My husband and I were looking for a new place to eat and so I began a search. I found Ventano and remembered seeing the building. We didn't feel like going out, so I looked them up on Postmates. Oh M Geee!! The food was amazing!!! So flavorful, cooked just right, sauces were out of this world. Exactly what we had been looking for in an Italian meal. We are now planning my birthday dinner later this month at the location. Can't wait to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine with some wonderful, satisfying food! read more

First time there and I was impressed with the service and food. Price is very good for the quality of the dish. I'm hooked, I'll be back. Really nothing negative about the entire dinning experience. We came here on a Saturday night with 8 PM reservations and requested a table on the patio with the restaurant almost at full capacity. They did have a table available and we enjoyed a nice dinner with the well documented view of the Valley. I was pleased that they carried Left Hand Brewing's Wake Up Dead Imperial Stout which was a great paring with the dozen oysters ($23) we had for appetizer. It's frustrating when other restaurants that serve oysters don't offer any kind of stout. It's a classic and obvious pairing to me. For entrees, I had the pan seared mahi mahi ($38) special being offered that night which was accompanied with a vegetable risotto, seared scallops, and a crab cake. The Mahi Mahi was cooked slightly over, otherwise it was a flavorful seafood combination. My wife enjoyed her chicken saltimbocca ($28) with sauteed spinach and roasted potatoes. For dessert, we had the recommended caramel pecan ice cream cake bananas foster ($7) by our server Carlos. This was a nice, sweet finale contrasting our savory entrees. An absence of photos was due to the patio being lit dimly with a relaxed ambiance. I didn't want to be "that guy" disturbing everyone with a flash firing through the dining area. Service was more than adequate with an extended delay waiting for entrees being the only snag. Although I did provide Carlos some income for the evening with our tip, I am certainly not his "boss." In the setting we were in, for him to repeatedly refer to me using that term, didn't really rub me the right way. Overall though, a great meal and there is no reason why we won't be back. read more

Great food and atmosphere. The staff was a delight, very attentive. Bring your appetite because the portions were enough for two.

I will agree with those reviews that are claiming the food was bland. It really, really, was. I had the Lobster Ravioli and boyfriend had Potato Wrapped Salmon. His portion was generous, and salmon cooked well, but there was very little flavor. No use of herbs, spices, seasoning..nothing. My lobster ravioli was a fairly skimpy portion for $25 ... four decently sized ravioli and 3 small shrimp. Once again, I wouldn't mind this, had it not been so bland. The sauce was completely unimaginative and left a lot to be desired. The service was adequate. We were seated immediately and our server was fine. The water was refilled in timely manner and we didn't have to wait too long to get the check. Overall, not worth the $50 for two entrees without drinks or an appetizer. read more

Fabulase meal. They gravy is goood and the scenery beautiful. Our dinner, service and atmosphere all top notch. Thxs!

This place is very intimate and the ambience is so relaxing. First off we were greeted by everyone and the owner came over as soon as we sat down. The table was already set up with water and silverware which was awesome because I had 6 kids with me. The service was excellent, and the Fettuccine Alfredo was the best I have ever had!! They owner made us feel very special and I was so impressed with everything that I tasted as well as the service. I will definitely be back very soon and I would suggest this place for anyone wanting to eat great Italian food! read more

Food can be iffy some times. I usually order piccatta, and the one and only time I had their veal, it was very tough. Food is over priced, the atmosphere is the only thing going for this place. Staff needs to be upgraded and trained all around. In personality, service, and knowledge. Went to the bar and asked for a mojito. Bartender said she "couldn't" make it. When the manager (I believe his name is Mike or something... blonde.... light complexion.) came around and asked how we were doing, I had brought up the bartender not having the supplies to make drinks... Like a full bar should. He challenged me, by letting me know that they have fresh mint and it is capable. Well, I got my 'mojito'. Makes me wonder if the bartender was telling me she couldn't make it because of the mint.... or that she COULDN'T make it...... because...... gag. Last June, I set up a birthday of about 16 for my husband's birthday. I made a reservation at least a week in advance. Waiter / busser would throw the bag of bread on the table, and then hide. They could barely be found. Had to beg for refills. We have had one great waiter in the 3 years we have been eating there, and that is only because I took my pregnant self and spoke to the manager and complained hardcore. He told me to make a reservation with him, he comp'd our meal, and I'm sure that is why we were treated so nice. read more

Ive been to Ventano many times, and I've never had a bad experience. Their staff is attentive and the food is great. Recently, I started going there at night. I did not know this place had a bar with gaming machines that stays open all night. First of all, the bartender is great. This guy Matt, he can truly make a drink. He spent a lot of time advising some of the regulars about wine, and he made me an original cocktail that was amazing. I ended up staying super late. Second, they have a late night happy hour that starts at midnight where ALL FOOD IS HALF PRICE!!! So you get food that is very good, for half price in the bar. Love it. read more

Read the reviews and there's mixed ratings here, even from some of my Yelp buds. What it takes to get 4+ star review from me... -The Service -The Wait -The Ambiance -The Food -The Price 5 for 5 on my last visit here at Ventano Italian grill. It's bee awhile since I got to indulge in some Italian food. Actually, it was three weeks, but who's counting. The gf booked Ventano for my birthday weekend with friends. That alone is 5 stars!! Service was pretty good. We didn't wait since we had reservations, our orders were taken quick, our drinks kept full, and our food didn't take long. The ambiance at Ventano was one of the highlights. If you're seated by the windows, you get a good view of the strip. As for the food, it's tough for me to judge what everyone else thought. But they must have liked their dishes because nothing was left on anyone's plate. I wanted their Chicken Marsala and Lasagna. The gf wanted the same. I got the lasagna, she got the Marsala, and we shared. Just my preference, but I prefer my lasagna to have more pasta and meat over one that is buried in sauce. Ventano's is buried in sauce, which wasn't bad. It's just not how I like it. As for their Chicken Marsala, this was pretty good. This too was covered in their sauce, but I prefer my Chicken Marsala this way. Ventano hooks this one up with enough pieces of chicken to satisfy your protein needs. Regarding price, I thought it was about average depending on what you're getting. Some dishes seemed a little high, while some was just right. Overall, the food was decent, the service was on par, and the views are fantastic. PS: Their breadsticks are addicting. 3 orders please! YELP PERSONAL CHALLENGE - (025/366) read more

This is a cute little spot that is seemingly in the middle of nowhere in Henderson. It sits up on a hill so you can see the entire Las Vegas Strip from the restaurant. There is a huge patio, which is where we sat and that was prime seating for the view. . I ordered a caesar salad, and the Ventano Tortellini. They served bread sticks while we waited for our food. We also ordered shrimp cocktail. Everything was really good. I wouldn't say amazing or anything, but good. I'd definitely go back because it's a cute spot with good food and an awesome view, and it's in my neighborhood. If I had to judge it on food alone, I'd say I've had much better italian. read more

The service is so slow. Our waiter didn't bring bread until we had been at the table for 30 min. It was another 30 before he took our order. Food finally made it to the table 1.5 hours after we waiting. A lady and a little girl came n and our waiter hugged them and took them to a table....others came 5 min later and they had food on their table before we ordered .15 min tops. It looked like he snuck a bottle of wine for them because he was huffing it and looked very nervous. The table behind us sat and got their order not longer than 20 min after they sat down. He was the worst and when I talked to the front desk they said the 1.5 hr wait before we got our food was because of a banquet. That wasn't true and it appeared to be a lack of competent help and favoring one table over others. He was the worst waiter we have ever had. Had to keep telling him we need drinks. We asked 3x for bread before he brought any. I could go on how the special event we came for ended in a long drawn out night of bad service! Thanks for making our night memorable for the wrong reasons Carlos! read more

Ventano sounds like your cool Italian cousin from back east that make a mean ravaoli! Well, that is not to far off for this place. Ventano's is located in the heart of Henderson and overlooks beautiful Las Vegas. One of the prettiest views in the city. Great place for a romantic dinner for too or to enjoy the company of good friends. Pros: The atmosphere is very relaxing with a beautiful Italian / Tuscan feel with amazing views of the strip. The service is always great and everyone is extremely friendly. The food is always good and they serve good size portions so you should not ever leave hungry. Cons: They bring a credit card machine to your table after your meal and do the transaction right there. I HATE this! You feel pressure to tip in front of your server. I just think it makes for an uncomforatble feel and they should consider just taking your check, running your card and letting you fill it out like most places. In fact, we have not gone here because we do not like to end the meal with this weird machine and our server staring us down. Not that our service has not ever been less than great, it is just a weird feeling. All in all though, its a nice place. If you want to avoid the awkward pay at the end... just bring cash :) read more

We have been going to Ventano's for nearly 15 years, and the fact that on a Tuesday night, the parking lot is nearly full, tells the whole story. The views are fabulous - overlooking the strip. The service is also wonderful. I don't think we have ever been there when the manager does not help wait on our table - as he does every table. Finally there is the food - always totally wonderful. The shrimp on a stone plate appetizer should not be missed. Other than than hard to recommend an entree, and all we have tried have been good. Atmosphere is very nice - a bit loud, but only because it is normally fairly crowded. read more

Very accommodating of our large group during a busy holiday weekend. Great outdoor patio!

I ate here once almost two years ago when I first moved to Henderson and have been meaning to write this review for some time now. I don't remember exactly we ordered, but I do remember that it was so salty that my friend and I both could barely choke it down. Like spit-it-out ack-sound salty. The only reason we ate more than two bites of our meals was because we knew we were going out drinking after and wanted our tummies to be full. I will most definitely never be eating here again. The view was beautiful and service was fine. read more
