I visited the henderson location last night hoping for a standout seafood experience, but the evening was the definition of "just okay." If you're looking for a spectacular night out, this might not be the spot, though it isn't a total disaster either. The service was unfortunately the weakest part of the experience. Throughout the meal, our server seemed overwhelmed or perhaps just uninterested; we had to flag him down a few times just to get more food and had to ask a different server for water. As for the food itself, it was fine, but lacked any "wow" factor. The shrimp and crawfish were cooked well enough and didn't feel rubbery, but the "All In" lacked depth. It felt like a standard grocery store seasoning blend rather than something crafted in-house. Everything tasted fresh enough, but for the price point, you expect a bit more punch and personality in the flavor profile. The vibe of the restaurant is pleasant and the seating is comfortable, which kept the night from being a total wash. It has that classic nautical aesthetic you'd expect, and the music level was decent enough to actually hold a conversation. Crab n Spice is the kind of place you go to if every other restaurant in the area has a two-hour wait. You'll leave full, but between the sluggish service and the mediocre seasoning, it's hard to justify a second trip when there are more attentive options nearby.

I recently visited Crab and Spice for their all‑you‑can‑eat seafood and lobster special, and it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. The crab legs were extremely small and so thin that you practically needed tools just to get any meat out of them. The lobster tail I received was even worse -- when I cut it open, it was green inside, filled with green water, and completely overcooked. It was clearly inedible. Despite the obvious issues and the fact that I didn't eat the food, the manager, Ms. Jo, never apologized. She initially tried to charge me full price and only removed $18 after I questioned it, still leaving me with a $30.36 bill for food I could not eat. The only thing that was remotely edible was the corn. The service was just as disappointing. I stood at the front for about 15 minutes waiting to be greeted or seated while the manager spent her time chatting with a table of people she seemed to know. That lack of professionalism should have been my sign to leave. Overall, the quality, quantity, and customer service were unacceptable. I would not recommend this location and will not be returning. Seth, was the only good quality asset to the restaurant. I feel like I was robbed and not even a let us get it right from Manager Jo..

Beignets with Nutella

Kyle was an awesome server. Try the Nutella beignets. The food was great, but get the shrimp already peeled so it's still warm.

AYCE seafood boil

I took my son today for his first seafood boil. We both did the AYCE and added on the AYCE snow crab. The service was quick and they refilled our bags at the right time. The crab clusters were nice n big. The shrimp and scallops were tasty as well. In our first bag we also got corn and sausage which were delicious. The next 3 bags we just got seafood to get our moneys worth. We also tried an order of lemon pepper chicken wings which are some of the best in town. Be sure to bring your appetite when you come here!

My husband loves seafood, and I wanted to surprise him for Valentine's Day. I took him to this restaurant, and he was so happy! We ordered the all-you-can-eat special for $27.99, and it was absolutely delicious and so worth it. I got shrimp, scallops, and mussels with the Crab N Spice mild seasoning, plus some Cajun fries. The service and the ambience was amazing! We totally recommend this place!!

So I see an ad on Facebook for this restaurant offering $5 off for locals on the all you can eat. Our son has the night off, let's go! It's about 4:30 and only one other table. Great for us. Seated immediately and Robert is our server! He explains how the menu works and answers questions and I had a lot! Yes, all three of us have to do the all you can eat. Yes, you can share. If I can't finish my initial bag, yes I can take it home. Son gets snow crab unlimited added and managed to finish 3 bags. Husband gets 2 bags down and about half of mine goes home with me. We tried different sauces and the consensus is that while they are good, Hot n Juicy has better. My coconut sauce had only a hint of coconut. Son said the Hawaiian had too much pineapple but I tasted it and I wish I had gotten it. Husband enjoyed the garlic butter blend. The seafood was cooked to perfection. We were very disappointed by the scallops though. First we couldn't find them because they were tiny. There actually was a lot in the bag but they tasted nothing like a scallop. I would never order them again. It would have been better to have less, larger scallops. The sides were all very good. My first time having fried green beans. We enjoyed the decoration of the restaurant and it was very clean. It was also very quiet. After about 40 minutes the radio started to play old school R&B and I could relate! Initially it sounded like hip hop. It's not a large place. It's about mid size. The bottom line is the value of the all you can eat is fantastic! You can order the lobster and eat nothing but all night or till your time expires; lol. Robert! Thank you so very much for a wonderful dinner. You were the cherry on top.

AYCE come with a cluster or crab legs

Just went in today after hearing some bad news and wanted to eat my sorrows away. 4lb later and I am still stuffed after getting home an hour ago. They have you check in via a QR code before being seated. Which is interesting when you're immediately seated afterwards but I get that it's most likely to mark in their system how many people come in. Tables aren't over crowded, simple decorations and R&B in the background. Service was great. They serve super cold ketchup and tartar sauce. I believe my waitress was Sheila (might have gotten her name wrong); she was super pretty, very nice and patient. She came to check on me a couple of times, made sure I was happy and let me know when/if I wanted more. The food is good but not great. The flavor feels lacking and their spiciest level of assassin wasn't spicy at all. The crab cluster and scallops were overcooked. The crawfish and shrimp were good though, I imagine during crawfish season it's great. The chicken had a nice texture and was cooked perfectly. Felt like it was worth the cost but there are other AYCE boils nearby with better flavor for my personal preference. Altogether not bad and service makes up for the lacking flavor. Would probably rate closer to a 3.5.

Decided to try this place after seeing a TikTok that should've been my first mistake. The service was the main issue. Our server was blah. I ordered one AYCE boil for my granddaughter her request when she come to visit. Me & her mother had our own order of crab fries. I also ordered a corn on the cob. I had to call 6 times to get someone's attention a to bring the bucket with bib & utensils for boil. The server this young man with longer hair top of his head was completely ignoring me probably because it wasn't his table, but it didn't matter. He wasn't doing anything. I eventually got louder so he could hear me instead of grabbing the bucket he went to go tell the female server to go get it mind you my granddaughter already had her boil for 2 minutes at this point. She brings out my corn on the cob. I asked for some butter & she told me it will be $2.50 for melted butter. I said I don't want melted. Regular butter is fine. She said we don't have any regular butter? So let me guess you guys just have melted butter ? I'm confused. Don't you have to melt the butter to get melted butter or do you buy it melted? Even for a very small side of melted butter it was $2.50 to put on a half ear of corn on the cob. I did not have a boil. I just need a very small amount of butter for my corn if you're buying a side of corn it should come with butter you're already paying for the corn. Should not be an up charge when you're buying a corn on the cob. The french fries were $15.99. They were french fries topped with crab. There was not crab throughout the entire fries. I actually had to ask for ketchup to finish the fries. Definitely not worth $16. I asked about the sweet tea. She said well it's tea with sugar on the side. That would be tea not sweet tea. The only drink options were water & tea. The soda machine had been broke since Friday according to my server. It's Monday. The beer selection is bottom of barrel. I am a local here in Las Vegas & there is so much competition. This place on IG & TikTok is not what you see in those enticing videos. The server never smiled. Also the gloves are cheap and did not stay on very hard to work with them on your hands. They only give you scissors for your boil no other tool to help.

The food was great as well as the service ! Our server kyle was so kind and explained the menu to us because it can get confusing. He was very attentive and helpful we will definitely be returning.

Local spot for seafood boils. They offer complementary cheese bread, and servers are very nice. The wooden beams and benches make for an oceanic vibe. The bathrooms could use a bit of cleaning

Finally decided to go check out Crab N Spice in Henderson. I had always heard to go early so we parked before they opened and there were already a dozen people waiting to get in! The atmosphere inside is fun and they have a good amount of seating. The staff were very nice and can assist you in choosing sauce recommendations. We opted for the all you can eat upgrade for snow crab. I really was hoping to splurge and do the King Crab legs upgrade- but they were out of the King Crab. However the snow crab and other items were very tasty! Would definitely go again! Be warned - it's messy! No bibs, but they do give you plastic gloves! If you do the upgrades, the price can jump up quickly! However, they do offer several regular meals that are reasonably priced!

The broth was somewhat spicy, and 12 of 16 clams tasted good at the time, but I made the mistake of forcing open two of the four clamshells that were closed after cooking, and paid for it with intestinal pains the next day. I learned to never force open and eat a clam inside a closed clamshell. Service was very good. Diane requested and received double Oyster Crackers. I was presented with two loaves of warm Sourdough Bread and butter. There was good spacing between courses.

We ordered cocktails from a very limited menu. Our waiter wasn't sure how to make the lemon drop martini on the menu but said he'd try to follow the recipe. We asked for Grey Goose but watched him pour shelf vodka. Drinks were served after the appetizers arrived even though they were ordered first. We started with oysters. Waiter said they only had two kinds tonight so we ordered 6 of each. He set them down and left to get tobasco we requested. When he returned we asked which were which he said "we only had one kind so they're all the same." I feel he should have told us before serving them since they were $4 each! I ordered coippino which at $46 was expensive but I wanted a treat. Hubby ordered large clam chowder in bread bowl and Caesar salad. Cioppino lists first ingredient as crab. What I was served had no crab, 2 overcooked shrimp and rubbery calamari. The sauce was flavorful but so disappointing otherwise. I asked about the crab and was told "no crab" and I was offered additional scallops as compensation. He brought three small scallops on a plate. Hubby was served two small bread bowls of chowder with the explanation of "we are out of large bowls". Again, it should have been discussed prior to serving that there was a substitution. Who wants two big loaves of bread bowl??? The salad adequate-- a big bowl of romaine with croutons with a side of dressing. All in all not worth the over $150 it cost. Not in the least! And they charge an extra 3% if you use a credit card. We will not be back.

I'd recommend sticking to the regular menu instead of all you can eat. There are quite a few limitations, you have to order in small portions, finish before ordering more and they charge for leftovers. My experience with the AYCE option hasn't been great, but the regular menu is solid. During that entire time, we watched our server repeatedly check on other tables while completely skipping over ours. What made the situation even more frustrating was that two tables that arrived after us had their orders taken before us and were able to order multiple additional rounds, while we were still waiting just to be acknowledged. When the server finally came back, it was only to ask if we wanted dessert. I explained that I didn't want dessert because it had taken so long just to try to place another order. I then asked if I could speak with a manager. The server told me, "The manager is really busy and works in the kitchen." We waited longer, and the server returned again saying the manager still couldn't come out because he was busy. It is located inside Green Valley Ranch (Casino) near the main entrance. There was plenty of signage to help you find it, but several of their signs still say Tides. The name change seems recent, but folks at GVR are friendly and will send you in the right direction. I was here on a Sunday evening so it wasn't super busy, but there was a steady stream of patrons and to-go orders. I was seated at the bar (a favorite of mine while dining solo) and was immediately approached by Sheree who informed me I was just in time for their Sunday Happy Hour, with half off oysters and beer (Sundays only, 4-9pm). Score! Their menu is seafood focused, and their cocktail menu looked intriguing. When I'm settling in for oysters and other seafood, I typically stick with wine, so I would try one of their cocktails on my next visit (or if I was with my plus one). Here's a breakdown of what I ordered: - Seasonal Oysters (1 dozen, mix of Miyagi, Blue Point, Kumamoto, Chesapeake): I really liked the variety they had for their seasonal oysters. My favorites were the Miyagi and Chesapeake, but the flavors all seemed relatively mild and there were quite a few shell pieces in some. - Gulf Oysters (1 dozen): These were pretty disappointing; they are large but super watery and bland. Several of the oysters I had were icy in the middle as though they were frozen, then thawed. I know getting fresh oysters in LV is a challenge, but it was a bit of a let down from an oyster bar. - Steamed Mussels (garlic herb broth): This was a fantastic dinner portion! Every mussel was open and had a good texture and quality. I got these with the garlic herb broth, but you can also order these in a red beer-style broth. I was so glad I went classic since I also used it on my pasta side (below), and took my leftover broth home to sip as a soup. - Pasta (side): I needed to add some starch to my meal, and I wanted something that would yield some leftovers. The side of pasta comes plain, but Sheree offered to have it tossed in some butter and garlic to give it a little flavor. This was a great hack, in addition to putting some of the garlic herb broth on top! - Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio: Crisp, light and refreshing! This went particularly well with both the oysters and the garlicky broth with the mussels. Overall my experience here was fantastic, I was just a little disappointed with the quality of some of the oysters. I would come back to try a few of their other menu items (like the Seafood Jambalaya and House Étouffée) and to give the oysters another chance. Looking forward to stopping by again!
