This place was lovely. It is very rare to find an Italian restaurant that feels relaxed like a true Italian eatery. I didn't feel rushed at all to order. We spent 2 hours, and relaxed with a glass of wine and bread. A while later came our delicious meals. Huge portions. (lunch tomorrow). We finished up with crème brûlée and dessert coffee. I have never felt so comfortable at a restaurant, truly. Please don't come here in hopes of quick dining, because this is not what this place is about. It's about enjoying your food & drinks, and the good company you are with. read more

We drove all the way across town to meet a friend for lunch. The restaurant was clean and the views were great! We ordered two vodka tonics and one tequila and water. The tequila water came in a drinking glass full of ice and the vodka tonics were packed with ice into little glasses. The server had to take some of the ice out so the two ladies could drink theirs. The caprese salad was terrible as the mozzarella cheese was not fresh. One of the gals ordered the lobster bisque and sent it back. It was dark and runny. I ordered clam chowder in a bread bowl. Big mistake. My bowl was over cooked and dry and only a ladle of soup in it. Our drinks tasted like there was zero vodka in them. The bill was outrageous. The plus side is our poor server was fantastic! Will never go back. Very disappointed!!! read more

Haven't been in a while....I was a little disappointed. Risotto was just the rice with a sauce poured on top, not a cheesy creamy risotto, the jumbo shrimp was far from jumbo and had a translucent rubbery texture. The wine was more on the bill than on the menu. And when we received our card and bill back to sign, we were charged for using a credit card. I get it things are more expensive but don't be sneaky about it. I would have paid the higher price for my wine, that wouldn't have kept me from ordering it. And I think an option to pay cash would be a kind gesture and not a surprise fee for credit card use. read more

Last night went to eat around 7pm and made reservations for a friends going away. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, until we asked for drinks, bread basket and ordered two appetizers. It took about 35 min to get our drinks and our appetizers showed up with our food! Not to mention the food was very salty and the spaghetti was horrible! It was watery and cold not a place I would recommend to anyone. read more

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice yet comfortable and the view of Hebderson is fantastic.

As always the service and food was fantastic. Locally owned, beautiful views of the city. Excellent Italian menu! The portions are enough to share. Tonight we had the Arancini as an appetizer, chicken piccata, and one of the house specials chicken spiedini. Plus they are one of the few places that have Spinoni for desert. read more

Average Italian food. The sauces were very watery and the service could have been better. There are far more better options than this restaurant in the area!! read more

I absolutely love coming here. There are quite a few delicious Italian restaurants in the valley; this one has a warm, familial vibe. The open dining area would remind one of a family's house. The only obvious difference is, no family home would have booths for seating. Also, good to note, they have a large deck area for dining. Perfect to watch the sun set over the valley. Also, a wonderful view of the strip. On one particular night, my husband and I ordered the beef carpaccio - well, we always order it - the beef was sliced paper thin, the mustard swirled all over was just the right amount, and the insalata in the center was a beautiful contrast to the beef. The lettuce was slightly overdressed. Still amazing. For main course, we had Rigatoni Portofino - instead of ham, I subbed with prosciutto and added chicken - and the Saltimbocca with chicken. Mine was delicious! The prosciutto was a brilliant decision; added another texture to the dish, a crispy bite. The Saltimbocca, was on the opposite side of the scale - horrible. Sauce was too salty, the potatoes were done in the oven and then fried-finished in the pan, also too salty... For those of you who've been to Italy or are Italian, Saltimbocca is traditionally prepared with veal. Why didn't the waiter suggest this to my husband, when he ordered the chicken!? Saltimbocca should only be offered as a veal dish. In my opinion. We'll keep going back. One bad dish won't deter! read more

Ventano was my favorite restaurant when we lived in Henderson and we haven't been often since we moved across town. I was super excited for our reservation @4:00 today but we sat and waited for someone to come to the table until 4:25. Several employees observed us sitting there with just water glasses and continued to walk past. Finally after we started looking for a new venue..... a very nice man who was setting up a large party in the back room noticed we had been sitting for awhile. He completely turned the meal around and made it a pleasant experience that exceeded expectations. Food was delicious and fresh with generous portions. The girl that boxed up our leftovers was so sweet and polite. While our initial experience wasn't my favorite these two wonderful people more than made up for it. we will definitely be back. read more

Asked for water and they misheard it as Dewars, giving me a watered down whisky instead and charged me $9 for it despite me not drinking it and saying I did not order it. Asked for vegetarian pesto pasta and confirmed that it would in fact have no meat in it. Upon serving, I found multiple pieces of beef in my meal. This is a poor reflection on what their kitchen must look like. Not worth the price-- tortellini was heavy with large garlic pieces and dry. You have a nice view of the strip from their balcony and they are good at accommodating large groups. read more

If you haven't tried their lamb rack yet...you need to. It's delicious! Its baby lamb rack cooked to juicy perfection served over a bed of spinach and potatoes. Yummm. I've tried their pastas too and they are all very delicious and flavorful. Not to mention their dessert...Caramel Pecan Ice Cream Cake Bananas Foster is HEAVENLY!! Also, if you're in the mood to add a salad to your meal, their grilled heart of romaine is simply delicious. Can't go wrong. Now all you need is to pair a glass of wine with your meal and you're all set! read more

Cheese Tortellini - sooo salty Carbonara - flavorless - sent it back after 2 bites. Lasagna - dried out and also flavorless Bread sticks....tasted of freezer burn Worst meals ever. Been eating there for years. After this experience I'm not going back read more

I came here a few yrs ago with my family because of the amazing reviews. Unfortunately we were not impressed w the food. We decided to give it a 2nd try , ordered take out for my Dad's birthday. Again we were not happy w the food and we are really not that picky. Eggplant rollatini was dry. The salmon was tiny and smelled very fishy, Not fresh. Alfredo fettuccini just ok. Only positive is the huge portions. But quality is superior to quantity in my book. Bill came to $98 but more importantly it was my Dad's 87th bday and I felt horrible he didn't enjoy it. read more

First time here after a long day at work. Went to bar to enjoy a drink and female bartender was extremely rude. Seems she only favors her usual customers. I was playing at slot machine and won "not much" but still. She had attitude since I walked in. Said are you paying with card or cash. I said either or, she said "well same thing! Tell me" anyway my tip to her was a note that said "next time when customers tell you it's there first time here " Try being nicer and maybe then you'll get a tip. I love tipping! But only on people who deserve it! Get another job lady or it's time to retire. read more

This place is awesome. For our 37th wedding anniversary my wife and I dined here for the first time. We were treated like family from the start. Large portion sizes. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. Great view of the valley. Real Italian dining at its best. I would highly recommend this place to everyone I know. read more

Food was great service was great the ambiance was very romantic and intimate. Though I took my wife on her birthday , an she was craving the stuffed mushroom caps, an the waiter came back to our table am told us they ran out of mushrooms so we didn't get s full order. He said they were going to comp them. An we got charged full price for a half serving of them.. other than that it was a good experience read more

Nice Italian restaurant in Henderson with great food, great service, and a nice view of the Las Vegas Valley.

Always good. Been going here for 3 years and they have remained consistent in every aspect.

Superb choices! Have been there multiple times, never disappointed with portions. Highly recommend that you try to experience yourself.

In my a quest for the perfect chicken parmigiana Ventanos doesn't disappoint. I stopped by for lunch last week and not only was the food delicious the service was outstanding. I'll be back. read more

Last week service provided by Marcos and Andres. Tonight, Daniella and Michael....(my apologies if I didn't get the spelling right). No matter who or what night, always consistently great service. Water glasses never empty! These servers hustle The only problem is, can never decide what to have because it's all so good. read more

Went for lunch, my friend ordered the grilled salmon and asked for it to be served with pasta and olive oil on the side. Lunch was good but when we looked at the bill they separated her bill to an order of pasta for $16 and then salmon for $11. The pasta was just spaghetti with nothing on it. We were expecting $22 for a Seafood special for her dish and they charged $ 27 instead. I told the server it was not right and he said it was what she ordered. I then asked if she requested the grilled salmon and substituted the pasta for the zucchini and tomatoes what would the cost be. $22. Again I said this isn't right and he just shrugged his shoulders. My friend didn't want to press the issues so we paid and left with a bad taste in our mouths and will think about other places to eat. read more

Delicious food and amazing service! Best fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had. Also, amazing views and very beautiful.

Great food, amazing views and excellent service. So happy to find great Italian on our side of town. Our server Carlos and his support staff made our visit a memorable experience. Try the Caesar salad with shrimp (small ones), perfect cook and seasoning on the shrimp. Pastas and sauces were all delicious, can't go wrong with the meatballs. Get the cheesecake to pacify your sweet tooth. read more

I live 2 blocks from Ventano. Been going there for 13 years. Was a nice place however I will not return. First appetizers came out before we got drinks or bread. Not a big deal then nobody return to our table for 30 mins once again not a huge deal but but annoying. This kicker as why I will never return is they snug in a 6 dollar charge if you don't pay in cash. It's not about the 6 dollars is about the sneaky way to deceive people and steal their money cause they don't notice the charge Shame on you vantanos. A credit card fee is part of your operating cost not the customer. Will never go back there again. read more

Great bread! The spinach salad is so testy. The service is good too. Prices are ok. Good ambiance relax.

My expectations were high since the restaurant seems to be busy most times I drive by. We decided to dine at Ventano before a concert at Green Valley Casino. I ordered linguine with clams in a clear broth. Very tasty. My hubby ordered Veal Parmesan. He did not like it because it lacked flavor. We also shared a Caesar Salad. Mediocre, dressing was sour. I wonder why restaurants are ok serving average food. Where is the pride and passion? Too bad. We won't be going back read more

Always a great meal at Ventano. Gotta get the cioppino for sure. Make sure to get reservations on Friday or Saturday.

This place was legit! Lalo was an amazing server. He new so much about each dish. His service was impeccable. We had such a relaxing time enjoying our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a relaxing evening . read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Vegas!! My family and I love going to Ventanos. The service is always great and the food is top notch Italian. Plus they have Peroni on draft. I've been to Pieros, Lavo, Roma Deli, Pasta Shop, Ferraros, Casa de Amore, etc. Ventanos is still my favorite! If you have not tried Ventanos you have to go if you are a lover of Italian food. read more

Been here a few times to hopefully give it another chance. The biggest disappointment is their pink sauce is straight up cream. I don't mind paying $20 if it's legit a high quality marinara but nope. Customer service was awesome but they can't fix their food. read more

We went to celebrate our 47th anniversary. Calamari was tough, oysters tasteless, scampi was good but served with rice not pasta, spaghetti Bolognese w had no flavor. Olive Garden spaghetti has mor flavor,!appreciated dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you. Our waiter, Carlos, was the best part of the whole night. The owner flit around to certain tables, not ours. Not great PR! read more

We've been coming to Ventano since it opened. We are Italian and don't eat at a lot of Italian restaurants- it was way better back in the day. We went there for dinner tonight and ordered grilled romaine salad, steamed clams and lobster raviolI. The salad was old lettuce and the prosciutto was too thick and stale/dry. They brought mussels instead of clams. The Ravioli was cold & bland. When we got the clams- the sauce was off. No butter or lemon flavor like they used to have. We hardly ate any of it. We asked to speak to the Manager & waited a long time. Th owner came over and we told him we were disappointed by the downgrade of food quality and taste & he was arrogant & argued about the food & was terribly rude. We paid the full check-left a great tip-went home hungry and will never go back. Try Bootlegger??? They have a way better owner!! read more

I loved this place, had a great meal and had awesome service. They were constantly checking on our table even when the restaurant was busy. The chicken parmigiana and the chicken Marsala was delicious. We had a few appetizers also and they were awesome. The drinks were strong and the food was bomb. read more

Ok for a neighborhood restaurant. I wish I had a better experience. Servers made me feel like I was too much trouble and couldn't bother with a table for one. I wanted to sit at the bar but there are only gaming machines, also can smoke in there so not ideal if you don't smoke. I ordered Shrimp Ventano and asked for something other than pasta be served as I don't eat gluten. They brought vegetables which was fine but I was charged for a side of vegetables without being asked or notified beforehand. This is poor customer service. Portions are good size but overall just an okay experience. read more

This place is a classic restaurant with awesome customer service, a Great location for a very wonderful view of the city, and classic Italian cuisine. We came her last night for dinner with a friend, and although the setting is of this place is romantic with a beautiful view of the strip and an awe experience of the sunset, it was still nice for a little get together with a long time friend. The staff was very friendly and even chef Arnauld came out to check on everyone including my 9 month old son whom was very well behaved!! Chef Arnauld has a fun and sarcastic humor which enlightened our experience there! The food was great! Of course bread was served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, I ordered the tortellini with pesto which was perfectly made! I am a sucker for pesto! And my friend got the veal de Angelo, and he totally loved it! Everything about our visit was great, I will say that it was a tad bit warm in there but that's nothing to take away a star for and complain about when everything was delightful! read more
