I thought it would be more complex but literally tasted like my bottle of sauce at home. The vegetables were just steamed and lacked flavor depth. Heavenly Mango Drink: I was happy to see that it included real mango chunks. It was pretty good, but was nothing special. Popcorn Chicken: The Taiwanese popcorn chicken, which I heard was what this restaurant was popular for, was disappointingly simple in flavor. I only taste 1 flavor profile throughout and was expecting to it to have more of a mixture of five spice, garlic and basil flavors. I recommend paying the extra $0.25 for basil if you decide to try it. P.S. Use your starving student card when you come eat here! You can get food for BOGO

First of all, the bowl was very cute and made it a more fun eating experience. I was very impressed by their popcorn chicken. It was cooked to perfection--crispy and flavorful. I liked the Chinese vegetables that came with the bento box. The egg with a runny egg yolk was good, but it could be marinated longer to have a stronger taste. I also got the Shhh! Sunset drink with a peach base and fresh mango and strawberry. It was so good! It was very refreshing, and I liked it better than other boba drinks. When I finally called, an employee unlocked the door, yanked it open without a word before throwing it closed again, leaving me outside, and then she watched me struggle to drag all my bags inside. The customer service from that woman was actively hostile, snappy, and completely dismissive. When I asked about vegan broth options while wearing my Star of David, she literally told me I could choose between miso or pork--completely missing the point of plant-based options. To top it all off, she dropped the check on my table before I had even finished eating. My first set of chopsticks was also moldy, and the second set I found on a different table (not pictured) had a green spot. The only redeeming part of the entire experience was that the male staff member was genuinely kind. While I enjoyed my ramen, I didn't feel treated like a human being, so I don't think I'll come back.
