I figured this was perfect timing to connect with the team at Larson and schedule a visit. Scheduling was a breeze and the office staff are incredibly nice and accommodating. My technician James was running a little early for our appointment, and I was given the option to keep my existing service window or have him arrive early. We bumped up my appointment and he arrived right on time. James was incredibly polite, professional and paid close attention to every detail, making sure to clean up after himself. I fully expected James to find some issues with my AC unit as I know Larson operates by a different philosophy than some other service providers. My experience is that Larson likes to be proactive and give you the opportunity to tackle issues before they become emergencies (super important as your ac unit gets older). This can be seen as both good and bad depending on your goals and needs for your AC unit. The choice is always yours to proceed with the work or wait on it. I'm grateful they provide me with data and information to make an informed decision. In my case there were a few recommendations during the visit, and I chose to proceed with the most critical to remediate. While they were there, they found a way to reduce the cost of the work. The work was completed, and then they asked for payment. It was never explained that everything wasn't paid in full when they came out and did the work and were now asking for $800 more. It wasn't so much that they were asking for more money (which once it was broken down, it made sense), it was their attitude and how quick they were to sending to me collections. They claimed they phoned me but I never received any calls. I told them I didn't believe I owed more money and then one day I received a notice of cancellations. It also was sent with a notice to reply by a specific date that already passed so essentially they sent me a notice to pay by a date that had already passed.
