I was in dire need of an Indian outfit. I believed in shopping from India before I came across this store. My event was just a week from the day I visited the shop, and I highly doubted if any store could make the outfit ready by that time, but Helen, the tailor, made it happen within the time.And all the outfits I tried were amazing quality; they have all the materials you need: silk, cotton, linen, georgette, velvet, chiffon, crepe, Muslim, rayon, etc. I picked a silk saree for myself, and the blouse stitching was up to the mark. They also have multiple ready-to-wear blouses in different sizes and colors, and adding to it, they have satin petticoats and cotton petticoats too. My second outfit was a lehenga, which was a green raw silk lehenga that was tailored within a day. I also bought a suit to match my kurta pajamas with my husband.They have amazing jewelry, which I paired with all my outfits because it was "buy 1 get 1 . I love this place, which makes me comfortable, and I don't have to order anything from India anymore. I purchased some dress pants from the mall and the length was too long so I took it to Varsha Patel and they did a professional job with excellent quality. I could not even tell that anything was done. For a reasonable price, the pant was hemmed, steamed, and finished. The hemming was done better than the original! I had almost given up as I was looking for best alterations due sentiment with that piece. Best customer service and on time with promised date. I went to the Varsha Patel boutique to buy two outfits for a wedding and didn't know what to look for, what colors to wear, accessories, jewelry, nada! Tripti and Rita stopped what they were doing and helped me right away. They showed me beautiful Lehengas and Sarees for both the Sangeet and the wedding ceremony. I came home with two garments at a great price and accessories to match. My favorite were the tikkas I purchased because they matched the garments perfectly. The day of the wedding ceremony I watched a YouTube tutorial to wrap my saree and it was not going well..I clearly didn't know what I was doing. So I went to the store and luckily Tripti and Rita were there to help. A few minutes later I was ready to go and bought an extra pair of earrings to go with my new look. I had the best shopping experience of my life at Varsha Patel-Designer Boutique--I mean it. Varsha's son, Sagar, treated my friends and I with the respect and patience you expect to receive from a dear family member rather than a complete stranger. And yes, you could say that good customer service is simply in the best interest of any business, but being a sales professional myself, I can say one thing for sure--Sagar saw us as actual humans moreso than customers with the potential to bring in money.  Coming to the more logistical side of things--Sagar has a keen eye for detail and an innate ability to pick up on the subtle characteristics of people's personalities. He thoughtfully went through outfit after outfit with us until we found ones that fit our style and truly made us happy. I've never shopped for Indian-wear on my own before (usually relatives just buy something for me from India), so I'm grateful that I found myself in such good hands this time around. And despite the amount of effort Sagar put in throughout the entire shopping process, he never once made us feel pressured to actually go through with a purchase.  Not only that, it was inspiring to learn that his mother, Varsha, started this business out of her own garage back in the '90s. And while I didn't have the opportunity to meet Varsha herself this time around, I would like to send her the following message through this Yelp review: "Varsha, thank you for having the courage to believe in your dreams and follow your passion. Your business has now flourished into something incredible, but through your son's demeanor, I can tell you've never lost sight of the fact that appreciating your customers and treating them with respect is of utmost importance." During my visit, I was also fortunate to witness a sweet, middle-aged lady walk out the store (I'm assuming she was on her way to a party) all dolled up in one of their saris.
