One of the differences as opposed to California is that they carry Stiletto Knives, Also Known As CIA Gravity Knives. They are approximately 4.5 inches long and the blade deploys and retracts from the grip using a dual throw (Forward and Back) button or switch. Very cool! Don't worry California, I did not buy one, as cool as they are. Yup, all of the fun stuff is illegal in California, like butterfly knives, Stilettos and firearms with the "Fun Button" (Safe-Semi-Auto) on them. Sigh! One light at the end of the tunnel was "Jerry". Be nice to Jerry, he is a cool guy but if you get on his nerves, that's on you. All I can say is that he has seen some stuff and he may be the definition of "F" around and find out. Jerry is very knowledgeable and he pointed my nephew in the direction of the perfect tactical backpack, among other accessories and toys that will compliment his new career in federal law enforcement. I did not buy much, except for a memorable patch. I get one from each 5.11 I visit, just to say "Been there, my dude!" Overall, it is a large store with a lot of selection. If you are looking for some discounted or marked down winter ware, now is the time to check it out. I found a neat jacket, however I live in the Sweltering Summer portion of California and triple digit temperatures are less than a month away. So, I passed on the jacket. However, if you are Military, Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire Department, Practical Pistol Shooter, Multi-Platform (Pistol & Long Gun) competitor, or a First Responder of any kind and you need boots, pants, "Shorts", a tactical carrier (No Ballistic Plates are sold here, to my knowledge), morale patches, a quick snap tourniquet or some gym attire,... It was a synthetic coat rated for intense cold that weighed nothing and scrunched into an extremely small space... exactly what I needed in terms of bulk and weight. It worked perfectly for the first few days until I came too close to dung-burning stove and the material burned while the bottom quarter of the zipper melted. Despite this, I was able to continuing using the coat for my remaining days because I could pull it on like a sweatshirt over my head. During most days on the trail, I had to take it off because I became too hot. This had not been my experience with other brands' coats in similarly cold weather. Nights in the Himalaya were another matter, but the coat was surprisingly comfortable (well, I wasn't literally freezing) when combined with a thick fleece layer. That wasn't what made Cotopaxi so good. What impressed me most was upon my return to the States when I contacted the company about the burn and melted zipper. They replaced the coat even though I'd worn it for a month post-melt; and, more importantly, they had me return the used coat for follow-up testing. I was so pleased that they cared enough about customers that they were committed to stand behind their products--they wanted to ensure we have quality, working products every time we enter the wilderness. I was even more pleased that they cared enough about customers that their research team re-tested the used coat to ensure nothing like this ever happened with any of their products again. Kudos, Cotopaxi and your sales team, for awesome customer service. You have a customer and fan for life!

I've been to this location multiple times and if you asked me to pick the manager out of the regular sales associates I couldn't. He did not act professional and seemed annoyed when I had a question. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this was just legitimately uncool. There were a couple very kind sales associates who I did speak too. But from what I have not only seen but heard from others who have shopped here is that the manager is very unprofessional and acts like he is 16 instead on a grown adult. Maybe if they replaced or retrained management on how to act with customers or even their own employees this location would improve

I have the most unpleasant in-store experience at DSW today…read more This morning i received an email from DSW and asked my annual DSW perk, and i had to log in to my account and made the selection ($10 dollar reward). I then went to the store in the afternoon and my wife selected a pair of ASICS shoes, which is 5 dollar more than Kohl's, Asics official site. But i think with the annual 10 dollar off, it is still a good deal. I then proceed to check out and i provided my number to the store employee Heather. She told us the final amount is xxx and we told her that we have this annual perk $10. She replied this coupon can only be used on the web or on the app. It doesn't sound like we could use that "perk" in store. So we decided not to buy the shoe. But then i double checked my email, it says i could use the "perk" in store. So i went back to that Heather and asked her if i can apply that perk to the purchase. She said "Yes" and then added "if you guys didn't walk away". WTF. We would not walk away if you asked about " do you have the email with you?". It is you, Heather, that keeps us from making that purchase. DSW should seriously think about customer service training. And with that attitude, even i could use that perk from the email, i have decided not to make the purchase this time and ever again. I will not buy anything from DSW again. Guys, one quick tip, just google the shoe you want to buy while you shoeshop at DSW, and you will find the price is usually not very competitive at DSW. Good luck!

This spot in Park City was pretty cool, as it has an upstairs, mainly for the repair shop. The brand is kinda pricey, but probably fair with the quality they offer, and the repair options they offer. There's a cool topographical map of the area in the store too. The staff was super helpful. Would love to come back and purchase some apparel eventually.
