I didn't know what to expect when I walked in these doors. The name reminded me of "Oriental Trading Company," so was this going to be a large store full of cheap imports? Nah, it's nothing like that, I quickly found. The majority of the store is clothing. More geared toward outdoor or specialty-this isn't about fashion or trendy stuff. This is about solid clothing meant for a purpose. Toward the back, there are a few shelves of accessories as well as knick-knack type items. Knock a few items off the Christmas list! I would imagine that if you're shopping here, its for something specific rather than to just browse and see what's new. When I'm in the market for some gear or heavy duty clothing, this will be a stop I'm sure to make. And maybe the last. read more

I love Duluth!! 5 stars!! It's like an adult Old Navy Store... but what separates this, firehose pants., Heavy hoodies and a casual vibe to rugged out doors, they sell it all!! Especially near Christmas where everything is BOGO or 50% off.. I'm a walking billboard as if it's not cathartt I'm wearing it's Duluth!! The only downside is they don't have 3XLT on the popular items, but sell 4XL, just not 4XLT.. I'm not wide, I'm tall!! And the service is always on point! Ordering from Duluth for Christmas gifts was a big mistake! I placed my order on December 15th. They just this day (12/20) informed me that my order will not arrive until 12/26. So now they have my $$ and I won't have gifts for my husband. They should've at least returned my delivery fee since they didn't inform me that delivery would take 10 days longer than had I ordered from Amazon. Paid $70 each for two pairs of pants for my husband that ripped along the seam within the first month. Was told they had a "No Bull" return policy, but was denied a return or exchange. When I asked why they won't take the exchange, the managed yelled at me and threw the pants back at me. I'm 9 months pregnant and had my toddler with me, and I was shocked at the disgusting way I was treated. They will never have our business again. read more

I went to Patagonia yesterday and had a frustrating experience. They make plus size clothes, but they don't have a single plus size item available for try on. Contrast with Duluth Trading Co today. They had my size in every garment I tried. (I wear xxl, 1x and sometimes 2x in various brands.) I was very pleased the I wore the same size across all garments I tried. This doesn't always happen many companies sizing between garments is highly variable. The sales person was super helpful, and knowledgeable. I bought a breathable rain jacket, a windbreaker, a winter coat, and wool socks. I just moved here from CA and 40° feels like deep winter! Plus size people have money. Take our money! Excellent!!! It's finally open and there is one here. I have had to either order on line or wait to shop at their store in Bloomfield, Minnesota where I use to go there every year. Still great clothes. Prices can be a little intimidating. But as far as work or outdoor clothing goes their clothes fit my needs. read more

They have an extensive selection of men's underwear with all type of fabrics to fit your style and comfort. In addition to their brand name, they do carry Alaskan Hardgear in addition among a few other workmen's choices. You can find every style of cargo pants, hoodies, vests, jackets, t-shirts, socks, and shoes. They carry a big selection of women's apparel, socks, and shoes too. This place is awesome! All guys have got to get in here and try the buck naked underwear. Briefs are the way to go. They don't have everything in terms of sporting goods, but the quality of outdoor apparel is superb! Make sure you sign up for their emailing list. My pants tore in the crotch area and I was told by the salesman that that wouldn't happen. Because of a piece of fabric that they add to the pants. And it still happened (before the year mark of getting the pants) but I still bought them because I read about the warranty that Duluth has. I bought three pairs of pants and they are all doing the same thing. And when I took them into the store they wouldn't do anything, I paid $70.00 for each pair. If this is how they back up their clothing then I won't be doing business with them again. I would have been a lifelong customer because of how comfortable they are. But not if they aren't even going to last a year. read more

5 stars for product but -3 stars for logistics and service! Let me start by saying that I love the Armachillo and Buck Naked underwear products and have ordered them online. When they opened the Sandy, UT store I was happy to be able to see these products in person. I received a coupon for $10 off of an online order and pickup in store. I ordered 4 pair of underwear and proceeded to the store which was a 40 minute drive from my home. I figured that by the time I arrived my items would be ready. If not we could browse the store. The store is beautiful and organized, lots of employees walking around (6-8). There were maybe 2 other customers in the store and not one of employees spoke to us. Not one asked if we were finding what we needed. I finally asked an employee if my onlIne order was being filled. She said, "i don't know but let me get your name and I can check." "Great" I said. She disappears into the back room. So here I wait. Laughing comes from the back room but still no answers. Finally she comes out and saiId she didn't find anything and maybe "John" who was over near the men's underwear was working on that. She didn't bother to ask "John" if he was working on it so I did. "John" said that he had no idea who's order he was workIng on because it's just an order number and walks away. Ok strike 3. No idea who is working on this order. I finally approached a group of 3 other employees and asked, "is there anyway I can get these 4 pair of underwear off the shelf and we will be on our way". Finally someone said, "oh yes, what's the item you purchased". ‍. C'mon!!!! She says that they check on online orders every hour, on the hour. What??? Why cant one of these employees that are standing around fulfill this order right now??? She sets down my 4 items next to a cashier but gives him zero instruction. I had to explain that this was an online order and it had already been paid for. My wife purchased her items and we left. Something that should have taken 5 minutes took 30 minutes and 4 different employees to solve. Unbelievably frustrating shopping experience. This all happened around 3:30 pm. I received an email that evening at 7:30pm that my order was ready for pickup. And then received an email at 1:09pm the following day saying my order had been cancelled because I didn't pick up my order within 7 days. Oh my........ read more
