I've been a loyal customer here or over ten years. Over twenty suits ordered along with many belts and dress shirts. The level of service has dropped off considerably and customer service and business practices at this location are now shady at best. Manager engages in bait and switch practices and sales associates are either new, incompetent or shady as well. I went in last week to purchase a belt and specifically inquired about black Friday deals on custom suits. The sales rep told me they would be 30% off for black Friday and that sale would start on Wednesday the night before thanksgiving. I go into the store on black Friday. I confirmed with the sales associate that the suits were 30% off and proceeded to take measurements and get fitted for four suits. When I go to check out the discount is not present. Sales associate checked with manager and he said there was no sale on the custom suits. I told him I had specifically confirmed the sale on custom suits with two different sales associates on two separate days. Dude could care less and told me to go pound sand in his polite manager way. Steer clear of this location. There are plenty of other options around the valley or online with trained associates and managers who don't routinely engage with bait and switch practices. read more

Looking for friendly service... not at this location. Unfortunately, I don not recommend stoping by when Ivan is on his cell. The customer at the store was way too much of a distraction from that important call. If your looking for guidance to finding a type, style or fit, come prepared to not get any guidance. read more

Ivan was super helpful, he helped me find the perfect suit and shoes and was extremely patient and friendly, even when the shoes weren't in stock he led me to the correct website to get that going. read more

My fiancé and I came in to get a suit for our wedding and there was 4 people working in the store. We were browsing around for 25 minutes and not one of those people came up to see if we needed any help or even acknowledge us. After waiting around at the table in the center of the store, one of the workers was just checking his phone. Another employee asked if he was busy to help with her customer and he said "no I'm not busy", and as he went to help her we approached them and let them know we've been in the store for a while and no one came to see if we needed any assistance. After letting them know how long we've been there, how no one helped us, and that we were leaving, the response we got was "oh, alrighty". I have purchased 3 custom suits and 3 custom shirts. 3 Reserve and the others 1905. Although once done the suits have been of decent to quality; however the service I'm not sure is worth it. The sales staff's knowledge of suits, material and fittings was very poor. I had to educate ther sales staff on how the suit should fit, what the benefits were if the different types of material, and how they should be measuring for fit. Once the suits were paid for it took 3 weeks for the suits to come in, and I had to call them to see if it was ready (not one call to let me know the suit had some in). When I came in for the final fitting the custom shirts did not even come close to fitting and had to be re ordered. The suits took 3 more weeks and 2 more visits to be tailored (hem and tapering on the pants and an adjustment in the jackets). If you are looking for a partial custom suit I would go somewhere else where they have a full time Taylor on staff and can get it right on the first try not the 3rd. I will most likely not be back and try somewhere else for custom suits. read more

Initially I was impressed by the professionalism displayed pre-sell. After the sell, however, customer service has not been what I expected. I purchased a suit, along with alterations except for one. When I noticed the oversight, I called to pay for it over the phone, and was told I couldn't do so over the phone (surprising in 2017). Nevertheless, I came back on a different day, and paid a fee (higher than I was originally quoted) and told my suit would be altered accordingly. I actually had to call them back to see if my suit was ready (more than a month). I was told it was, but when I went to pick it up, not only was my suit not ready, but a button was broken, and I was invited to take the suit and bring it back at a later time to have fixed. I declined. I was then told it'd be two more weeks before my suit was ready. To top it off, I was then asked to pay for the additional alteration I'd already paid for. read more

My husband and I went into the Jos. A. Bank store on 118 E Winchester St, Murray, UT 84107 in search of new dress shirts/accessories for my husband. Although we paid more then we have in the past buying dress shirts at Men's Warehouse, my husband and I thought it was worth paying a little more and receiving the outstanding customer service Paul provided us with. He made our experience with Jos. A. Bank exceptional and we will definitely return for future purchases. I believe good experiences such as these are often neglected with online reviews and I wanted to be sure to share our experience with others. Thank you Jos. A. Overall a good option to purchase a suit. With a variety of fits (slim, regular, etc...) and trends there's a lot of good options to choose from. However the store was pretty messy. Coats, pants, cardboard boxes, and dress shirts were on the floor. In addition I have the expectation that suits are a considerable investment. As such the facilities should reflect that. The dressing rooms have a lot of tear and year and could use some new paint, carpet, and hardware. read more

I decided to buy their best suit. I have purchase and enjoyed several clothing itmes from Jos A. Bank over the past 15 years or so and decided I would spend more and get their self reported best suit. When I picked it up after alterations, I was very unyhappy with the jacket fit. There was a bunch-up at the top of the back. The back didn't lay quite right, and the shoulder line was wavy. I had to have the suit for a business meeting and a wedding so I had to take it with me then. I expressed my concerns emphatically. These concerns were dismissed by a younger fellow somewhat distainfully with explainations that made no sense to me. The older gentleman seemed more interested and promised me that they would fix it after the wedding if I brought it back, at no charge. Went to the meeting and the wedding. At the wedding, first thing, my wife looks at me from behind and tells me that the lining is hanging lower than the jacket. I had to pin it up. I took it back today, June 29, and went over the concerns I previoulsy mentioned in addition to the low-hanging lining. The same younger guy was annoyed and more or less walked away. The same older guy saw my point immediatly and started making marks etc. then said, now you know I will have to charge you for these additionaly alterations. (I assume that meant for the poor lining placement as well). We are talking about a time gap of a four weeks. I had a little argurement with the older fellow telling me that did not sound like something he would say, etc. I said if they ever wanted to see my business again, they would do as promised. He agreed, reluctantly, and painfully. I have spent a lot of money here, at least six suits, coat, shirts, ties, and have been happy with the value for the price, until now. This is absolutely the best place to purchase your next suit or any accessories. The sale prices were unbeatable and the selection was eclectic. Terrible tailoring. Have had to have suits re-tailored multiple times, but still not right. One uncorrectable, but no option offered to keeping as mis-tailored (like another comparable suit tailored properly). Won't be back. read more

This place is horrible no matter what location we go to. We sat and waited for 30 minutes when there was only 1 other person in the store. They are so unorganized. Then we went to pick a suit up on the day it was supposed to be done, it wasn't ready so we had to wait another week. We will never buy anything from Jos A Bank again. read more
