This is where I shop in SLC. The store is all men's clothing. A rare and unique brand and a great idea in a world so focused on women's fashion. The selection is all high quality well made timeless fashion. The price to value ratio is very worth every dollar. And when you catch an item on sale...it's even better. This trip I picked up a pair of unique casual cotton pants and a wool mock turtleneck sweater (both sale items)!!! The service is amazing. My go to is the young man with black glasses (forgot his name...sorry) he knows how to help put outfits together. The whole team works together though to make your shopping experience better. They seem to have some issues with accepting point of sale payments (apple pay) but had a Venmo solution that was my only criticism. If you're looking for quality men's clothing Bronxton is fantastic. Until next time I'm in SLC... cheers

While Bronxton has roots in the surf culture, I would be hard-pressed to call it a surf shop. The main associate working the floor on both my recent visits was zero parts Jeff Spicoli, and about a million parts Titus Andromedon from the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and about a million more parts exceptional customer service. Nice, not overbearing, and very knowledgeable about every product I was wondering about. There are some women's clothes and accessories, but the place is decidedly man-centric. This is not to say that women can't pull off flannel, big-ass watches, or use Beard Balm, but it's definitely skewing male. You will find the surf brands of our youth like Billabong (especially their RVCA clothing brand), and newer companies like Herschel, maker of cool and durable backpacks, and Brixton (mostly their stellar watches. A little pricey, but it's almost impossible to walk out empty-handed!

Face it, Utah may have great skiing and outdoor activity, but it isn't known for sartorial splendor. I found Beckett & Robb and warily made an appointment with Curtis. My concerns had no basis in reality. This was as professional an experience as when I had a suit made on Savile Row. Curtis knows his stuff and took time to answer all my concerns. He knew more then the dudes on StyleForum, and if you ever perused that website, you know what I mean. Curtis knows every aspect of haberdashery head to toe. After disappointments having clothes made in New York City, London, and Hong Kong, it's ridiculous to know that the consummate custom tailor is right here on my doorstep.

For most males, they can buy off the rack do a few adjustments and be ready to go. Then you have people like me that are in that perennial gray area between a 40R and a 40S, where the short is too short, but the regular is just a tad too long. Where the waist on the pants fits, but the pant legs are too tight or the pockets flare out massively because there is no adjustment made for wider hips. Enter Beckett & Robb. Made to measure from head to toe. I came to know of this place because my classmate's brother is the head guy in the downtown SLC location. Let me tell you this, Tanner knows his stuff. I know my way around a suit fairly well, but what Tanner knows if far and beyond my knowledge. I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't think they'd be able to cut my suit just right, but thankfully I was wrong. I ordered a black suit for a wedding. The price beat what Nordstrom and other retailers were offering for similar suits, but the biggest selling point is that it was designed specifically for me. Once the suit was ready (5-6 weeks later, don't expect a quick turn around time), I went in for a trial fitting where any final adjustments could be made. I sort of freaked out when the pants didn't fit because I thought it couldn't be fixed. I go back a week after alterations and they fit amazing. The suit looks great. The price, in my opinion was very reasonable, and the style of suit I got was something I wasn't able to find anywhere else. Best thing yet, when you're ready for a new suit, they have all your measurements so all you have to do is pick out your fabric and style and you're all set, unless you either gained or lost a lot of weight.

The level of service has dropped off considerably and customer service and business practices at this location are now shady at best. Manager engages in bait and switch practices and sales associates are either new, incompetent or shady as well. I went in last week to purchase a belt and specifically inquired about black Friday deals on custom suits. The sales rep told me they would be 30% off for black Friday and that sale would start on Wednesday the night before thanksgiving. I go into the store on black Friday. I confirmed with the sales associate that the suits were 30% off and proceeded to take measurements and get fitted for four suits. When I go to check out the discount is not present. Sales associate checked with manager and he said there was no sale on the custom suits. I told him I had specifically confirmed the sale on custom suits with two different sales associates on two separate days. Dude could care less and told me to go pound sand in his polite manager way. Steer clear of this location. There are plenty of other options around the valley or online with trained associates and managers who don't routinely engage with bait and switch practices.

Their buckles are interchangeable with all straps. They have a lot of belt buckle and strap options with unique colors, patterns and images. I purchased 2 buckles, Horizon and Vert in gunmetal, and 2 straps, black and mocha, for my husband, a conservative first purchase to give them a try. The buckles are awesome! Lightweight and sleek as advertised. The straps are also lightweight and look strong and built to last. My only mistake-I ended up getting the wrong size straps :( I contacted customer service to notify them of my issue and asked how I can exchange the wrong size for the correct size. I was contacted almost immediately by Mallory and was told not to worry about sending back anything, they would send out the correct size straps. The next morning, I received the shipment email notification. I'm blown away, as I was not expecting this! This company really cares about their customers and their satisfaction with their products and go the extra mile to do so. I will look to Grip6 for more belt purchases for our family in the near future and encourage you all to do the same :)
