I was…read morecoming from out of town and they were able to have the store open early for my appointment. The service was beyond anything I expected, with a lot of options to choose from. Didn't feel pressured to go outside of my budget at all. Well the experience was so good I bought the suit I had designed and canceled the other appointments. A few weeks later everything was ready and they were able to hold my suit and shirt until I could come back and try it on. Well the suit and shirt fit perfect, with no additional alterations needed. Didn't notice any issues with stitching or loose threads and I have to say it's the best suit I've ever worn. Materials definitely live up to the price point. The additional details really made it a nice touch not just for me but my wife as well. If I ever need a suit I'll make the flight to come out here.

My husband wound up renting a wedgewood blue tux (it looked like a suit to me: no strip of satin down the pants legs, no satin lapels, no cummerbund) that he wore with a pale pink shirt and a navy tie. It looked amazing: fun for a Spring wedding. Chris took my husband's measurements at our first appointment, but when the tux arrived (2 weeks before the wedding), the arms were WAY too long. No problem! We just went back down to Nordstrom's, they altered, and Black Tux credited $15 towards the alteration cost. The arms were so off, I asked Nordstrom to write off the additional $15 since I am a very regular Nordstrom shopper, and they did. Love Nordstrom's! I would have preferred that the arms had been correct, since we'd measured before ordering, but Black Tux and Nordstrom's were great to work with on the alteration. Since my husband never needs a suit in his daily life, it was fun for him to rent a fun colored tux/suit. Return was so easy - back into the box it came in, pre-paid label already on it, under the original mailing label. Highly recommend if you want to try a fun tux or suit for an occasion. I was looking for…read morecost efficient wedding dresses for the big day but was getting discouraged with the high prices until I saw that BC was having a floor sample sale. All dresses were $700! Such a great deal for the brides on a budget. From my understanding, the sale features unsold high-quality dresses that have been gently used for display or modeling. Store: the store was organized and clean but surprising a little small. All the dresses for the sale were tucked in a corner and grouped by level of modesty and style. Overall, I think the experience turned out great for my first wedding dress fitting. My feedback for the team is that I felt overwhelmed at the beginng of the selection process. As a first time wedding dress shopper, a couple of staff members kept asking me what kind of dress I was looking for and seeing if I needed any help with picking out 5 dresses to try on for the first round of fitting. It could have been just their standard protocol to rush or move along the selection process as quickly as possible so they could take their time with the actual dress fitting step. My recommendation is to let one associate lead the intro process and set up a comfortable length of time (about 5-8mins) to let them browse first. This will help make it less overwhelming. Then after the 5 dresses are selected, other staff can come in to help. During the fitting, I had a great time being asked about my vision and plans for the wedding to help keep the whole fitting process light hearted and fun. My consultant Kayla was the most adorable, sweetest girl - she had all my wish-list dresses ready and then picked SO many more for me to try on as well. She was really helpful and honest in her observations and suggestions, encouraged me (along with my daughter) to try different styles I hadn't considered, all while staying respectful of my budget, and ultimately just made me feel beautiful and cared for. They're only located in Midvale, UT ~ right next door to Korean BBQ Of Utah. They have really kind and knowledgeable staff, that are willing to answer all the questions, about their products and activities, in the area. They have the latest and greatest gear available, in so many fun and colorful styles (because that's essential, when you're outdoors lol). And, since so many of the products are out, you can actually touch and feel them! My favorites were these glow in the dark constellations sleeping bags and tents. They have accessories galore, clothes and great backpacks! Everything is so fun and colorful too! It was like outdoorsy eye-candy, I swear!
