HM Cole - Formal Wear Near Me - Salt Lake City, Utah

Needed a suit for my wedding and had booked a couple appointment with HM Cole being my first. I was coming from out of town and they were able to have the store open early for my appointment. The service was beyond anything I expected, with a lot of options to choose from. Didn't feel pressured to go outside of my budget at all. Well the experience was so good I bought the suit I had designed and canceled the other appointments. A few weeks later everything was ready and they were able to hold my suit and shirt until I could come back and try it on. Well the suit and shirt fit perfect, with no additional alterations needed. Didn't notice any issues with stitching or loose threads and I have to say it's the best suit I've ever worn. Materials definitely live up to the price point. The additional details really made it a nice touch not just for me but my wife as well. If I ever need a suit I'll make the flight to come out here. read more

I needed a suit for my upcoming wedding and graduate school interviews. They did a great job of making a stressful time in life, stress free and comfortable. Bradley and Conner always made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Their knowledge of the fabrics and styles helped a beginner like me get my first custom suit and I love it! I got a dress shirt too and it fits perfectly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get into a great custom suit at a reasonable price. read more

Impressive attention to detail and stellar customer service leading up to the highest quality clothing you can imagine.

I called a few places and none of those slack jawed losers answered. But then I called HM Cole and young superstar Jay answered and setup an appointment. It's easy to tell Jay is passionate about his job and that he has a higher standard of performance than most people on the planet. He's easy to work with, knowledgeable, and is great at keeping a fun conversation going, even while dialing in measurements. HM Cole and especially Jay deserve 7 out of 5 stars. Exceptional young talent and great place to look perfect for a wedding or whatever. PS. Let's go NY Giants read more

I booked a suit fitting because their website promised a 3-week turnaround. However, upon arriving for my consultation, they informed me their turnaround is typically 5 weeks, and couldn't promise anything faster than 4. This is false advertising! They owe me half a tank of gas and my afternoon back. read more

Would not recommend this place for custom suit. Took 6 months and 6 or 7 trips to the store because the jacket kept not fitting. They had to re-cut the jacket 3 times until it finally fit. If you are going to this place, I recommend working with Brandon and no one else. read more

Great service and quality. Very satisfied with the custom fit suit. Very flexible with meeting and the suit came in the time period they said it would come. Professional, personable and prompt! read more

This place really understands the concept of customer service. I ordered my very first custom, bespoke suit. It arrived on time and I took it on a business trip. The material ended up with a few problems and Hayden figured out a fair solution. I will be buying all future suits from these guys. I am still waiting for a custom shirt I ordered and am looking forward to a nice custom fit! read more

Best fitting suit I've ever owned! The fitting process was really easy. They have a wide variety of fabrics to choose from and they help you understand all of the different options for customizing your suit. It took exactly 5 week from my fitting to having my suit in hand. Had I been under a time crunch, HM Cole was willing to speed up that timeline, but I was in no rush. The suit looks great on me and feels even better. It's the first suit I've ever owned where the pants didn't totally constrict around my thighs. It is so nice to have a suit that fits me perfectly. read more

These guys are very good at helping you figure out what you want in a suit and getting it made correctly and on time. I procrastinated getting a suit for my wedding until like 3 weeks before. They were able to get it in time for a fitting and have it tailored with time to spare. Their attention to detail and personable approach made the whole process a pleasure. The suit fits great, looks great, and I feel confident wearing it. read more

Amazing tailoring and selection inside a beautiful space! Great and knowledgeable employees made it super fun and simple!

Extremely happy with my experience with H.M Cole. This was my first time getting a custom suit and I'm definitely happy I went with them. Their attention to detail was greatly appreciated and their knowledge of the suit game was impressive. They have a huge variety of suits/accessories to choose from that fit my style and personality perfectly. The whole process took a little less than 3 weeks and the suit fit perfectly when I picked it up. I can't wait to get another one! read more

DO NOT EVER buy a suit from this company! I went in months early to get a tuxedo made for my wedding. They sent my measurements out of the country and I was told there was plenty of time and not to worry. The tux came back along with my best man's suit and they both fit horribly. The pants couldn't be buttoned, the leg measurement was six inches too short, the shirt sleeves were baggy and too short, the lapel on the tux was incorrect... They got sent out yet again, and came back a month later still poorly fitting. I thought a custom fitted suit was supposed to fit better than off the rack?! I thought the measurements taken were to avoid the guessing game. Not with this company. I get the tux back ONE DAY before my wedding and the shirt still does not fit correctly, there is a hole in the pants near the stitching and there were wrinkles in every piece of clothing. This is additional stress that is not needed for a wedding and such a let down. I called to seek retribution and was told that I could get a small discount off a future suit. After the months of stress and continual failures on H.M. Cole's part, I asked for a discount and money return on part of my tux since it was still not the way I wanted it and did not plan on buying another expensive suit that fit poorly. Daniel, the man in charge gave me his word that he would refund me money and pay for alterations to my suit to make it the way I wanted. Four months later, still nothing. Yet again, I had to reach out and he said they weren't able to pay me. No one should support this business, they are terrible at communicating, they provide custom suits that fit worse than off the rack, expensive even for over seas, and most importantly, they will go back on their word at the first opportunity! read more

H.M. Cole makes beautiful men's clothing! I love the new suit I purchased and my husband looks so put together in it. My sales rep Chris Patch was great to work with and he always looks like a million bucks--so hopefully my husband will end up with a wardrobe as good as Chris' as we continue to buy from HM read more

I had a great experience with H.M. Cole and I'd recommend them to anyone. I've done custom at other places and H.M. Cole has been my best experience. I asked them if I could get a suit back in 10 days for an event, which they were able to do for me! Their fabric selection was great and prices were very reasonable. The guy I worked with knew his stuff and did a great job measuring. They have definitely won me over as a customer. OH! And the dress shirt I got was the best shirt I own by far. Great fabric, great, fit and I get compliments every time i wear it. Certainly a five-star experience. read more

H.M. Cole has arisen to the occasion of true luxury, bespoke clothing. Their clothing is stellar, their service is outstanding and the resulting product- my look- is fantastic. I highly recommend giving up on the Mr. Macs and other off-the rack clothing like Nordstrom or Banana Republic, and looking into custom, bespoke clothing. I promise you will never go back. Custom clothing by HM Cole will fit perfectly, look great, last longer and you'll have more options to choose from in the first place! It's time we gentlemen take our styles into our own hands and dress like men. In sum: I highly recommend H.M. Cole. read more
